That is just the way we move forward, anyone which does something out of the ordinary is taking a risk, and while there may not be any benefits, at least there is the possibly there could be.

However for what I can tell many people take huge risks for which there is no chance at all to obtain any benefits, so a balanced approach must be followed and the benefits should be equivalent to the risk taken, which is why the risk reward ratio is a very important metric when it comes to an activity like trading and you must never make a trade for which the reward is not enough to justify the risk taken.

Well, at least it took it an entire decade before going broke, I have seen documentary films before on how the so-called "new-rich" are more likely to lose all their money from the lottery, because (since they did not have to learn money management to raise their fortune) they end up being reckless.

One should pay attention to the contrast of those who have management to maintain a fortune from their own merits and work, during decades in a flawless way. Anyways, good quote which I agree with.

If only Sitting and playing or squandering wealth once after a time the king's treasury will also be depleted, so was the case with this man. Since he earned this huge amount of money from the lottery, it was only natural that he would gamble with this money and that might have happened with some extra luxuries. And he wrote the name of the irresponsible gambler, so that was his end.
This could be a lesson for others that not only should you earn through gambling/lottery, you should also know how to protect it.
