There was a newly created topic here that I think talks about the same thing. It's about casino funds and the OP questions if the casino is only paying using the funds of other gamblers. I think that was true in the long run when the casino gather a lot of players but if they are only starting then a casino might need to prepare a good amount of capital because what if those few players win huge?

It's pretty painful to stop when you know that you are losing too much so there's a tendency that a gambler will just continue but there are instances that they got lucky and win huge before their balance gets completely depleted. I experience this sometimes and it's much easier for me to quit when this happened.

More than once here in the topics of the Gambling section on our forum it was said that everything you lose should be considered as your payment for the pleasure that you get from the game.
This is how one should approach the inevitable fact that in the long run, any player loses.
But!
Sometimes you are lucky and now you get a win, and at this moment, you somehow even forget that you have already lost quite a lot before. These emotions make players gamble. I am interested in these gambling quotes because they are true in real life. When we try for more opportunities to get something in real life, it can become like a gamble that we don't know whether we can reach or fail halfway. This positive quote reminds me of a situation witnessing local lottery games sometime last week, where the winner was making his acceptance speech, he said and I quote, I have not won anything before and everything I ever hard, I worked hard for it.
This quote goes along with the quote above that money won is sweeter than money earned, but then how long can we depend on luck to give us a desired constant result, I guess your answer is the same as mine. We have to learn how to manage risk by limiting our level of positivity and dependence on continuous luck, which is not provable for long-term sake, it is good to be positive and lucky but not forget the technicality involved in winning a game from a casino.
