The trend now regarding bitcoin is that it constantly goes down in every second and every minute. Is this the end of it? Will there be any possibility that its value becomes zero? Or specifically demonetised? Because for me I think 5 to 10 years from now this will happen simply because of the appearance of other alternative coins. What's your opinion about it?

I think the number of alternative coins that appear does not affect the popularity of bitcoin. Bitcoin masit remains popular and the price will increase again. You have to be patient for the current market price, and bitcoin will not reach zero.

I like your points sir but I do not see any reasonable points somehow, because patience and moral support will not save it. I think financial support and boosting bitcoin's popularity to frequent usage such as investing and trading will save it. Please further explain on how this will not reach zero?

I see here there is a mission from an institution that wants to exterminate bitcoin and replace it with a new coin that has its regulation, I do not know this intention is good or not.
Hi there, in connection with your comment, do you have at least a source to support this one out? I just want to know what is that coin which could probably abolish bitcoin. So that we could determine its purpose.

Bitcoin is popular only because it is decentralize. If we need to create a coin which is in control of some entity or governing body, then there is no need of such a coin. We are then happy with the Fiat system. Bitcoin sole purpose was to remove the control of the money from the Government and give it in the hands of the public.

I dont think bitcoin will ever hit 0 even if people lose interest and it begins to die out.  There were many points in bitcoins history were catastrophic things occurred and the price still never hit 0.  Cryptocurrencies arent likes stock in the sense that they are not shares of a company.  bitcoin is not a company so it cannot file for bankruptcy like a company could because its not expected to pay any bills or make a profit.
I would like to comment on this, indeed bitcoin is not like a stock per se, but isn't it a "currency"? though it is only used digitally. Don't currencies have tendencies to be lesser in value as time goes by? Moreover, isn't it possible that this will be demonetised? This is just a point. In my current post I don't stressed bitcoin as a stock but rather a currency. Make sense?

Many times this misconception is made that bitcoin will go down in the time or it will become worth zero just because the alts are rising. I think this will never happen because this ecsosyemt is based on the balance of bitcoin and altcoin itself. I am not sure if you observe this or not but many times it becomes the necessary thing to exchange our coins with bitcoin to save losses or to save the scams from happening. I mean bitcoin is like safe house where we can keep our investment secured and thus we always keep pushing the bitcoin economy further. So it won't be zero.

No one believes that Bitcoin value will turn into zero, that notion lies only on a person without any knowledge or not familiar with what is Bitcoin and its story, Bitcoin will never be worthless, the proof is the increasing trading volume and adopters.
what the fuck is wrong with this fucking coin (and every other), who is ALWAYS falling when it goes up like 1-2-3k? Hate myself so much for not selling around Xmas, my 0,55 BTC was over 9k€ then, now it's around 3k€. Goddammit, I'm hodling for a while now, but I don't understand why doesn't it rise again.. or at least stays somewhat stable, so all the other fuckin' coins don't lose as much value.

If the prices remain stable, then Bitcoin will lose its attractiveness. A lot of people invested in Bitcoin, because there is potential for a 5x or even 10x rise in the mid-term future. If the prices remain stable, then what is the point in investing in it?

I don't think as as in the future people will need more on crypto currencies, this technology supported such like internet in the recent decade that changed the world. I believe the crypto currencies now will do so, then I think Bitcoins value will increase rather than zero.

Definitely it is impossible that bitcoin value becomes zero.  Even the price of bitcoin  are getting low it is not the implications that bitcoin will be fade out. It is just part of the economics system of cryptocurrency. Volatility of the price depends on the supply and demand in the market.  For now, there are a lot of person who release bitcoin that's why bitcoin are at low price

Bitcoins value will never go to zero because there are still people who are always investing in the market and because of that, there is no doubt that bitcoins will still recover even though the prices are decreasing right now.

I think there no possibility the bitcoin values is become zero. As of now bitcoin value is going down but in my opinion it is not to be zero value. Many people support bitcoin and they invest. I hoping by next quarter bitcoin price is become high.

With that, I think it can create a debate among tech guys because I've seen many of them saying bitcoin has better tech. And if we look at how long it takes for bitcoin to be this big, altcoins won't be able to replace bitcoin that easily, except if bitcoin is stopped being developed. About the current trend of bitcoin price, I saw a news about Payza committing money laundering worth of 250 millions (yes, that happened during 2016 but it is becoming news again) and that would probably be the cause of it, not because of altcoins overcoming bitcoin.

This is only a simple bearish trend like in the past few years where the bitcoin price crash but then eventually recovers. The appearance of new altcoins is not the cause of bitcoin price going down in fact that new altcoins that you mentioned is also crashing not only bitcoin. So i can say that something is making the market go down.

in my opinion it will not happen, indeed bitcoin prices now gone down, my opinion is not possible to get a value of 0, and I see from the current bitcoin price cheap price and I am sure the next few years will be higher than the current price. so this is our chance to get more bitcoin, because the current price is cheap, so we will get a good profit.

I think it will not happen and it's hard to happen, because if this is now the lowest point of bitcoin, but not the end of bitcoin, if you're an investor, then you'd say it's a bitcoin trip to achieve the highest score.

the possibility of bitcoins value to be zero is zero. this things never gonna happen. bitcoin gonna crash but did not become zero. bitcoin gonna dump but it rise soon. never to worry to the price of bitcoin as long as too many people trust and believe bitcoin is alive.

Bitcoin value to be zero would not gonna happen, why? Simple, since it's beginning, it has a value and look at the coinmarket cap, the bitcoin trading volume is too high and it is increasing every day, the price might drop, yes, but it is normal and it would surely bounce back again upward.

I do not think Bitcoin will achieve zero even if people lose interest and start to die. There are many points in Bitcoin's history that are things of disaster that have happened and the price has never reached zero, and it will not happen that the value of Bitcoin will be zero because now demand is still increasing. Still many investors and traders who still believe as long as Bitcoin increases, will continue and have value.

Even new people start hearing first about Bitcoin before hearing about other Altcoin, as we can see, the price of Bitcoin actually dragging each Altcoin up or down.

But if this happens, then I think many will suffer huge losses and some will get a big profit.
