Unless the edit happened very quickly after the post was written (5 minutes is the limit apparently), an edited post should show a dotted line underneath the time and date. If you hover over it then it will show when the post was last edited:

I was going to say that I can't believe that you would think this would work, however it appears that Gavin Anderson has signed your GPG key and you have posted your email address associated with your GPG key elsewhere with your account.

Most people on here try to stay anon, so they will (IMO) never run into situations where it would be appropriate to sign other people's keys.
