So i am a full member for a long time and ask this guy, my long time buddy, how can i have merits in a legal and a good way. It seems like im getting stucked on this rank and needs to improve my post more but anyways, he told me how to gain merits much possibly. He said i post or comment some witty ideas on Meta section because people who gave merits are here and i will most probably get one if i post here. So far, i observe that newbies and full members doesnt get one. Only hero and legendary.

1. The mentality your friend gave you had been the exact way I used to think before I came to know from many users that it's not Meta alone where you can get merits, but the whole forum is your workspace. So, think differently, outsmart your emotions and wrap up your words the way we want to see them, be it through helping someone find an answer or through your skills. Thinking too much about merits will not get you anywhere, take an example of DdmrDdmr, he's been a legendary in terms of earning merits.
2. I'm quoting my post from a thread by Juggy777 (please visit it once and give it a shot as well):
3.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/giving-x-newbiejr-members-a-chance-to-rank-up-5085605 - One more thread helping users get merits, but remember, you need to have better posts before the date when that thread was created. Have them? Go ahead and try.
One extra bonus:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/i-have-10-merit-to-give-for-jrmembers-and-newbies-finished-5095913You guys can't really deny the fact that there are helping hands out here already who are willing to hand out their merits to someone who dares to show them the work done, efforts taken in order to get them, it's just that this has now become a trend to cry and shout out loud (and even beg) for merits without giving least efforts of searching what they are being given for.
