I'm counting these as memes.  The combo of his rants with the ads and clown profile picture is just too good not to share.

Trump was one of the American best president but the people not the citizens removed him and he is coming back again to make America once again great.

Let your voting strength speak for him in 2024 election

It is not only the fact all the collection sold out in a relatively short period of time and becoming bigger in volume than the Bored Apes ones, but I have also seen people on Twitter who have managed to cashout one of their tokens for over 20 ETH.

I wonder if after this relative success Trump will be more inclined to take advantage of our community as a whole for his marketing and product campaigns. Even though, he seems to be in need of money, this kind of grifting by him seem to come with a cost to his political career.

Cool!  I added trading card #4128 to my cart.  Only 4500 eth  ($5,336,820)
I put in an offer for $1.99, but only if they accept Paycoin....

I have a feeling that a lot of those NFTs were bought up by crypto bros who are now hyping this shit into various "top" lists on OpenSea et al. It'd be great if Trump keeps flooding the market with more of these, kinda reminds me of the good old days of GAW PNGs.

My bet is on Putin using them to funnel his payoffs.

And it doesn't hurt that the majority of his base are less than educated morons and buy into any of his nonsense and he (Trump) knows it.
What better way to make $ off your ignorant minions than copy pasta scam jpeg NFTs of a super hero with laser eyes?.... smh
Oh yeah ok, now I get it....he's gotta start thinking about covering astronomical legal fees.
(And finding competent lawyers who are willing to take him on as a client for that matter... no small task)

I also doubt your average trumpling would have been able to figure out NFTs and Polygon etc within the ~2 days that it took for the "cards" to sell out.

BTW most of the cards seem to be extremely low effort hacks, same photos over and over on different backgrounds, unlike the few more heavily photoshopped ones they have on their website.

Can't find a complete list of them, but this is my favorite so far:

The funny thing is how surreal this all feels: from president of the United States of America to NFT seller. I can see some die-hard MAGA supporters buying these Nfts.

It not that weird if you remember who he was before the POTUS thing. A flailing real estate developer with a number of failed or outright scammy branding experiments, from Trump steaks to Trump university. So the NFT shit is right on brand. Assuming they sold 45k of those, and he rakes 50% in licensing fees, he got $2 million for a couple of tweets. Plus future royalties. This might end up as one of his more successful scams.

I suppose pretty soon I'm gonna be bumping my "Will Trump be indicted?" thread.

-snip-

Donald Trump may just turned into the person who introduced millions of people into the crypto community, unfortunately it was not in an ideal way. Hopefully, a small percentage of those people will end up getting involve in actual cryptocurrency aka Bitcoin, and not only become easy prey for the endless stream of scammers in their eternal pursue for victims to rug pull.

Your father has the advantage of having you, so can stay away from scams.

Very ironic Trump himself deemed Bitcoin as possible scam and yet see what he is doing today.

As foreigner I have null memories of Donald J. Trump previous his political career, I can barely recall a brief cameo in the Simpsons and seeing his face on a book cover about getting rich.
But I am aware he is more culturally prominent in USA, for obvious reasons.

I mean if there's one positive to come out of this, its that Bored Ape Yacht Club is no longer on top.

Another positive is it might just actually get my dad interested in cryptocurrency.

I bet he blows off the meet and greet winners.

yup. and the winners have to provide their own travel, meal and hotel accommodations to get there and back.
