I did a return of a gpu to amazon sent it on june 17 due to arrive june 19.

It arrived June 30th.

Amazon has told me they are so backed up on returns. That I will need to wait until July 13th for it to be scanned and processed. I have been poking around a lot of websites trying to see how many are having 20 to 26 day refund wait from amazon.

It has been suggested that both ups and amazon are letting return packages 📦 sit at least a week for fear of covid-19.  Thus a possible two week delay for an amazon return.

Lucky for me it was only a 330.00 refund.  If it was the 1999.99 threadripper I had purchased last month I would be a lot more upset.

I have that delay.
I have a package from china shipped on June 10th lost somewhere.
I have a package from California due last friday lost at my post office 🏤.  that may show up tomorrow.

Fedex fully lost two items in april and may.

And I had 6 or more slow boat from china 🇨🇳 shipments take 60 days vs 30 days.

I have several shipments coming from Europe area - many are coming up on weeks and still nothing.

I have a total of 9 outstanding orders and I have not bought anything for several weeks - except for the second batch of cryptostamps I bought last week.

We have parcels that have gone in limbo. Europe to US seems to be heavily affected. Our internal company material shipments between Switzerland and the UK are taking 3+ weeks.

Hey Daniele, good to see you back! Yeah, I have a number of things gone off tracking from the EU lately. We'll see in the coming few weeks how much worse it gets over here.

It's so ironic, we are first in the world on testing (Huh), our stock market is surging (Huh), and best of all, the current turd running this giant shitshow seems close to being flushed in a few months. Wink

(Disclaimer: That's a joke. lol)

I still have a lot of stuff floating about taking forever from across the country... Sad

I guess it's a little better, let's hope it clears up a bit faster.

Just curious what everyone else is seeing with their international packages at the moment.  My package I posted tracking for here, another month goes by and it's still in limbo.  I've also got another package coming to me this time from overseas and it says it hit Chicago May 10th.  Expected delivery for May 14th , didn't happen.  8 days in the same city...why.  I thought postal workers are mostly working regular shifts?

From what I've read, there's next to nothing I can do about the package being in Chicago for over a week.  City is way too big to ask to pull it.  I considered placing it for hold/pickup.  You have to wait 3 days but then can pick it up.  However I'm not sure this will even work, or if it's even right of me to do so.  I don't want to make more work for people but my god.  Any ideas on this one? ( it's been over a month in total)

Few Packages started moving around 12-14th of May.. Looking good for now.. Good part, nothing was tempered with or damaged.

and as of right now I have a lost fedex. which was not delivered on the 29th.

I screen shot. the lack of delivery at 8:01 pm last night

today at 10:57 am I get a back dated message saying it was dropped off at 1:15 pm yesterday.

Having done business with fedex for more then 20 years.  There is a chance it will show today.  If not. It will take a long time as whenever they pull the back date move it is either next day or fight for weeks.

Thank goodness it is just a 50 dollar item.  and not the $1999  Threadripper cpu I got last week. Grin

If the package required a signature then you should contact Fedex. I've had it happen in the past where a neighbor signed for a package but the delivery guy didn't leave a note to let me know the neighbor had it.

Not as bad as yours but I have a package that has been sitting in LA for over a week now. Luckily its contents are not high value but I'd rather not use intercontinental shipping for now.

Im at nearly 3 weeks for a package being held at LA now

Thanks for the pep talk Cheesy. I doubt we'll have the same issues when using DHL/UPS etc. but I'd still rather not take the risk.

Yeah I do a lot of buys and sells.

UPS
Fedex
DHL
USPS

5 to 10 a week in and out during shutdown.

Delays are common with all of the above Since mid March.

Shipping has been pretty bad. Took nearly a month to leave the states headed for the UK..

have any of the several shipments now already reached the recipient?
are there any news from usps when the shipment to the eu will take place again...?

My item has still yet to of reached is destination point.  I've got a couple other items stuck in limbo too.  I honestly can't make sense of the way USPS is shipping thins at the moment.  I've sent out a few things while just using good old stamps and it's arriving to it's destination quickly.  Other things I'm paying extra for and it's not showing up until days after it was supposed to ( or it's still stuck in limbo ).  I guess we really shouldn't be surprised by any of this.

So I sell stuff on eBay, last Friday someone won 3 different auctions from me (printer ink/toner) all the stuff is pre boxed and ready to go. I probably could have saved a bit by combining 3 packs into 2 but in the end it was just quicker to print 3 labels out and ship.

All left my office, Long Island NY Friday.
All were going to the same address in Texas.
1 was delivered just now, 2 are still sitting in the Dallas post office with delivery scheduled for........THURSDAY.

Yeah, 3 of the same size boxes coming from the same place going to the same place. Shipping is a bit FUBAR.

Stay safe.

Anyone have recent experience shipping UPS or FedEx from US to EU or back?

I received fedex within 5-6 days from Poland. Unlike this one which still stuck in traffic problem from NL send by regular mail... Haha
