The thing is not as hard as thought OP, just follow the examples and recommended procedures, i have also here some links to how to also post an image on the forum, many ways have been discussed there as well and you can simply choose the one that best suits you with ease.

Guidelines for posting images
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guideline-on-posting-images-with-size-adjustments-hyperlinks-3974517

[Tutorial] How to add image, resize image and make image clickable
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tutorial-how-to-add-image-resize-image-and-make-image-clickable-2958771

I think they should help a little, go through them and understand the procedures needed, follow them and try again to see if the whole thing is gotten right.

Take a look at the examples on this guide to see if they are of use to you (particularly, the width and height parameters, although placing one autoscales the other if omitted):
Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks

Also, bear in mind that the images displayed on the forum have a maximum size of an image is 2,5 Mb. Placing a larger image displays the message shown in your screenshot (amongst other possible reasons).

In any case, if the picture seems pixeled when resizing, it should be a clear indicator that the dimmentions you are trying to upload are not what they should be.

I  copied  the way how the picture was added to the post in the example. I uploaded the link to a disc, copied the adress and inserted it again using "insert image" it is still small.

Can you put the image to WeTransfer? There's no account needed, you can use "Get a link" and you don't need e-mail address either.
Then post here the WeTransfer link and size you want it to be displayed and somebody (maybe me) will try to help you out.

Hey guys. Would you please advise me on posting images here on Bitkointalk? When i upload an image of 1440x4700 just like other users, it is being compressed, while I need it to be widened on the whole post window just

First of all, I think that's postimg.cc that's deceiving you. Maybe you use a different image upload website or pay more attention to settings and details. I don't know how you've uploaded and how you've hot the links, but:

* The image you've posted [the first image in my post] seems to be a downsized image; it's the same image as yours
* If you look on postimg.cc, the cursor has a + for this and if you click the image you'll get another link, for a bigger image [see the second image in my post]; it's a bigger image obtained from your link (I didn't upload anything new!!)
* Neither of them have the size you'd expect so maybe you see to upload somewhere else, as I said.
** If you upload a bigger image you can use img width= like tag to resize; it's advise to resize only one dimension and leave the other one get auto-calculated
** Make sure the image size in megabytes is not too big (images can be processed to be leaner without significant quality loss), else some may complain that your topic loads too slow

The two versions for the image:

I saved the picture from the example and it is 1300x5130
That's not the size of the image uploaded in that thread.
Click on "quote" button in that post. Copy the URL of the uploaded image. Paste it into your browser to see the image on the hosting website. Download the image.
You will see that the real size of the image is 640*2526.

Yeah, sure.
So the size of my image is 1440x4700, 2.84 MB.
I use a picture hosting to download the pic there to get a link. After getting the link i click to "insert image". I tried to post the image this way but the image is compressed after I post it.

The idea is that  pictures uploaded by other users have the same size as mine. It means that the problems lies not in the sizing.
The image you were trying to post had a width of 1440 and height of 4700. Right?
If so, that's different from size of the image shown above. In that post, the user has posted an image with the width of 640 and height of 2526.

The problem may be with the ratio of height to width of your image.

maybe you should still write the whole procedure, what exactly you do when you try to put an image in a post.
What is image size in MB? Do you try properly to use third-party services for uploading images, like imgur.com used by example from your first post?

How to aviod compression? When I choose an option of resizing, the picture becomes too pixelated.
How do you resize your image?
If you want your image to have high quality, you shouldn't increase the size here. Increase, you should upload a bigger image.
For example, if you upload a 16*9 image and you want your image to be 1600*900, it's normal that it would have a very bad quality.

Upload the image with the proper size, so you won't have to change the size here.
