Good Afternoon,

I posted a thread earlier today regarding Bitcoin banking. I believe it has since been removed.
I apologize as it's clear to me I must have broken some rules.
Could someone let me know why the post was removed and what I need to do to adjust it?

Thank you!

Sounds like a good one; prolly someone that wants to LEARN I guess  Tongue
Well, there are so many reasons why most writeup gets deleted: sometimes, maybe due to some inexperience -- as in your case -- users end up making post off point; not relating to the subject matter....most times it does relate, but isn't just appropriate for a constructive context, or sometimes unnecessary and isn't the route-wise to the issue on ground.
Secondly, who knows if you made the thread on the right board? Cus the MODs won't waste anytime trying to figure out the WHY or HOW anyone would do such mistakes; they'll simply delete 'em post, sometimes without your notice. We've got alot of sticky notes dude, read up just so you don't fall a victim next time.
I'd also wanna urge you: do what is right and keep being consistent, you're gonna make out mega someday, just like everyone else.

Thank you all!
That all sounds pretty reasonable.
FWIW, I had edited out the wallet address in the Meta post before its removal.
Yes, I'm looking for engagement/discussion here.
If anyone wants to financially contribute, they can PM me and I can give them my bio and other info to prove authenticity.

Again, thank you.

What others said above is big help for us to know the rules and regulations first before creating a post to prevent this kind of situation so a little advice Op is that you need to go further with the rules and regulations to know more it. Another thing Op ad your question already answered you can now lock this topic in the bottom left corner to prevent spam replies.

Addingbto what the user ahead of me said, I've also come to agreement that one of the major reason for deletion of your post was the fact that a Bitcoin address was added to it and I had to take time and read where the above user ponyed out it's rules and regulations concerning begging in any form with begging for merit or finance.
Just as the above user suggested, your Bitcoin address could be posted on here or on your profile and then you make reference to it, but I don't think people we will be willing to Make any donations to a newbie account soliciting for financial partnership without guaranty from a trusted reference.

This is the said post:
https://ninjastic.space/post/61497748

It was originally removed from Project Development, and then from Meta. In relation to the latter, the phrasing was perhaps a bit confusing. I’ve seen the suggestion for moving it to Meta, although rather than move it, the focus should have been placed on getting people’s opinion on what board the content should be posted in. Reading over the wording, with the context from your prior post, seems to point to you wanting feedback on where to place the content, and not to the project itself, but perhaps that wasn’t crystal clear, leading to confusion.

Project Development doesn't really sound bad to me, as the idea is seemingly essentially BTC related, but perhaps the fact that you added a BTC address for contributions was a killer. One thing to consider is that explicitly mentioning a bitcoin address for people to send funds to, is generally considered to be infringing rule number 7 (no begging), regardless of the actual intent. You can have bitcoin addresses here and there, on your profile, and reference them on posts, but generally you shouldn’t ask for people to contribute to them (see rules). This rule generally leads to posts being deleted if it is not met.

Let's see what other people think about your case.

Hello,

I posted a thread yesterday soliciting feedback regarding a Bitcoin banking project. I first posted it on Development and it was deleted. I made a separate post asking why, and it was suggested that I repost the thread in Meta.

I did that, but it got deleted again.

I've read through the rules but can't seem to find the  forum rule I'm violating. Even so, it's clear enough to me that I'm doing something wrong in this community. Not the first impression I wanted to make.

I'm looking for feedback and a discussion regarding the theoretical structure of a project I believe is worth advancing. If anyone could direct me to the appropriate person to ask permission, or the right place to repost my original thread, I'd sincerely appreciate it.

Thank you!
