Valorant, just seen this game's gameplay on youtube which is similar to battlefield game like COD but I don't like it too much to be honest because this just same as other existing games.Maybe this game also will get popular due to its light weight layout model.

Do they have official tournaments? This will make them more popular than tournaments conducted by random websites.

Many are conducting tournaments in Valorant, whether it's "official" or not. It can be done by a lot of gaming companies and even small time group of gamers, especially amidst this pandemic, which would make online tournaments be their only options. It is already hot on the gaming community and a lot of stucked-in-pandemic gamers are trying Valorant and enjoying it, hence no wonder it was already popular the day it was released.

In my own opinion, Valorant wouldn't be adopted that early by gambling platforms. Even Fortnite nor Apex Legends had limited to none betting activites, yet only famous in tournaments and streaming platforms. I guess the reason why it is rare to have bets in such games is that they are just rip-offs of the famous CSGO. If they would have a feature that would be unique in their game, they might have a chance to be addicted by most of people.

For me, Valorant is just the same as CSGO with just different graphics and styles, but the gameplay is just the same..

The game looks like CS:GO and Overwatch had an ugly baby. I played a few matches but didn't enjoy it.

Considering it's Riot Games game there should be some big tournaments coming.

New game.

I also playing VELORANT right now, there still has some minor bug from the game and need to be fixed. Just like @shroud said about this game, RIOTS make a faster decision to release this game really fast after the beta phase. If we see on the game perspective, I don't know why VELORANT hitbox or something like that's was better than CSGO. I playing both of this game, but CSGO aim and hitbox harder than VELORANT.

So hard to be honest.

There are a lot of professionals from CSGO that are quickly adapting the game but most of them said that Valorant will never be able to take down CSGO. As Summit1G watched a video that most of the places of this maps in this game are so claustrophobic. Still, a lot of players are enjoying this game since it is easier than CSGO. The best part here is that it can still be played by those players with not that much powerful PCs gathering more players.

The question here is that will there be a tournament?
There are tournaments already ready for Valorant. Check the liquipedia page for most updates for completed, ongoing and upcoming tournaments. This is a good game to catch up for those who are good pointers and players in FPS games like CSGO and become professional on this game.
One sample of on going tournament.

As far as I know, there is a tournament that happened though I don't know who won. CSGO pros are loving the game so I think we might be seeing more players gathering around this new game. If this will be added to esports, then we will not be doubting this to be in a lot of betting sites. Though I think we will see ex-CSGO pros here.

Erm, a few betting sites already have Valorant on its list. A few I could name is Loot.bet and unikrn. And it isn't surprising, RIOT surprisingly developed the game pretty well and since the combined elements of Overwatch and cs:go plus some additional here and there, it really is a fun game. I've had my fair share with it and it truly revitalizes your will to play fps games, especially if you've been playing cs:go for a long time and is starting to get bored of it or is starting to look for something similar. And unlike other games, It can easily be considered as an Esports game because of how similar it comes off with cs:go.

I didn't know this, can you spill some of it? I wanna know the teams  Cheesy
Also became curious though, recently, few of colleagues started to play this game as an alternative for CS GO. While being one of the hottest game in todays' news, they are continuously making a discussion which players of CS GO are migrating to Valorant. They sent a link containing a list of pro players specifically in CS GO.

Just like some other Esports, Valorant is a new game that is popping and it is trending right now in a gaming industry. It is not yet known just like League of Legends, Dota 2, CS:Go and other games that can be used in a betting sites.

It is one of the most popular games being streamed right now, thousands are now playing it since it is easier to play than CSGO. I heard a streamer said that if players are used to CSGO, they can quickly adapt the game and that is why most of the professionals of CSGO are playing the game to be the next pros of this game. As far as I know, we have the first tournament of it and most of them are CSGO pros and as far as I know, Subroza is there.

Wardell is said to be the future face of Valorant, who is a CSGO pro. When the tournaments pop up, and it was considered as an esport, obviously it will be added in betting sites, but I know some sites are already in it.

DGbet.fun - Crypto Sportsbook

I'm hoping that once there is a gambling esports betting site that includes Valorant in their platform, it is safe and fair just like other Esports games.  Grin What are your thoughts?

It would still need more years for these kind of games to be listed out on esport betting sites.I havent tested out Valorant yet but it looks like it is something that is worthy to try on. Ive been playing Apex Legends for a while now and Overwatch.
I did make up some research and Valorant is already listed out on popular bettings sites like https://loot.bet/sport/esports/valorant and you can also find it here
https://gg.bet/en/betting/?tournamentIds[]=gin%3A26c29b2f-ce1a-4e21-89a8-738346106337

This might not involved with crypto though but if you are really interested on making up some bets then this would do just fine.

there is no doubt. once Valorant's community grew enough for organizer and sponsors to notice that they could profit from them then it is just a matter of time before they create tournaments fro Valorant and when that happens it will also be just a matter of time before sports betting site includes Valorant into their list of eSports that you can bet on.

Bookies would need some more professional teams to form and at least a tournament going on to add this game IMO. Currently they would have no idea how to calculate odds. Players in Valorant don't even have that long of a match history. Thankfully for them RIOT is already making match history and leaderboards public much like in lol, so it'll be easy to study that at least. However, it might take at least half a year until a pro league can form. And don't forget that the pandemic is still ongoing in the US so in-person events might be off for at least until after the summer. Which means that tourneys are also off to smaller revenues due to no ticket sales etc. It's a good time for starting a new game in terms of online viewers and/or a player base but not the best time to create a pro scene.

Bookies that we know and love currently might include lines for Valorant tourneys once the game is ironed out for its competitive scene. It got its ranked match recently enabled and perhaps before the end of the first ranked season, that is when we'll be seeing some tournament popping off. If popular organizations like ESL and Starladder starts organizing tournaments for the game, it's a no-brainer that sports bookies follow suit and follow the hype that is lingering around the game.

Knowing that it's developed by the same company that made league of legends there's potential for sure but they still need time for their competitive scene to grow since most of the players are coming from CSGO.
This is what also think of with Valorant, since it is created by the same company, Riot games, there is so much potential in it to play in competitive stage. And I've seen some streamers jumping for CS:GO to Valorant, maybe it is new but the gameplay of it is actually good with added various skills to your hero, not just fighting with a gun so strategy is wider than CS:GO. Basically Valorant is a mix of Apex Legends ( EA ) and CS:GO (Valve) good job Riot.

Few betting sites already have Valorant markets offered but it's only limited to match winners. Once bigger tournaments get announced in the future, we'll probably get to see them in several bookies.

Yes, Valorant is a new game but this isn't just a new game that just launched but the debut of it was outstanding for real. I've seen them at the top of liquipedia.net being at the left side of Dota 2 which makes it the first and most visible game if ever someone visits the website. Although, it the place of it has been adjusted but being a new game and was already included in this website makes it something special.

I haven't played the game but I've seen highlights, advertisements, and videos for this game which shows that they are very active to promote the game. I've seen also that some esports management has made their teams for Valorant that has been in the professional scene for other games.

I'll be with the same thoughts that it will be included by the bookmakers soon and that's just a matter of time.

Valorant esports is starting to have a rumor about making it into a betting sites. It is a new game where you can feel like playing a CS:Go with some new strategies and gameplay. Just like the other games, we all know that when a team compete with other teams, tournament can become a number 1 priority.

Just like some other Esports, Valorant is a new game that is popping and it is trending right now in a gaming industry. It is not yet known just like League of Legends, Dota 2, CS:Go and other games that can be used in a betting sites.

But I believe that this game has a potential to become included in those gambling esports betting sites, i'm not that sure.

I know that soon, this game will be classified as one of the best fps Esports game that has a betting options just like CS:GO.

I'm hoping that once there is a gambling esports betting site that includes Valorant in their platform, it is safe and fair just like other Esports games.  Grin What are your thoughts?
