I was thinking of starting something like a Powerball it basically follows all the same rules with the exception that the tickets are digital and instead of paying with dollars you would pay with BTC it will be fully legal backed by the BTC community would anyone participate in this is just a questioneer I want to hear peoples opinions

Most of the casino has a lotto feature now on their house game or from a 3rd party game provider. I’m doubtful that someone will choose to play on your casino that offers only single game. Besides physical powerball is less hassle when it comes to trust and the rewards is very massive compared to what you are offering.

If the only difference is just it use Bitcoin then I don’t see the point why people will choose your game over the traditional one with much higher jackpot prize. I’m sure you are just using pot prize pool for the game rewards.
Its true on which most sites now does have that kind of game option on which they do have lottery, it might not be completely the same on how powerball works but really needing to choose up and
find out on what are those number combinations so that you would be able to hit up the jackpot. We do know that in todays companies on which they are really that
offering a wide variety of games on which includes lotteries on which there's no way that we can be able to see as of this moment a lottery only dedicated kind of site
on where most of them does have tons of games on which it could give out someone an option on which are the type of games that they are betting into.

It is a good idea. Even the first Powerball casino website in the forum is no longer working again and I also try to find out if there is out there but none so if you have the idea to start it, you are good to go. But if the user who brought Powerball casino to the forum at that time is still active you can ask him what really happened that the casino was stopped working or the signature campaign manager at that time so that when you start yours, you would know the areas to avoid. Everything is idea and planning. Happy New Year to all.

In my opinion, whatever type of gambling or betting you want to implement or develop, especially the main thing you want to do with Bitcoin, in my opinion it is legal and it is a good idea in my understanding.

In essence, whatever type of payment method with Bitcoin you want to make, tickets and so on, especially in electric soccer betting, if it can benefit the players and act honestly and responsibly, I think that's normal and can be accepted by the community here.

My understanding is to do whatever you like in any feature on your gambling site with Bitcoin, it's not a problem for that.

It will really be a nice idea, but have you considered the amount that the gambler will spend just to place a successful bet and the time it will take for one confirmation to go through? It won't really be worth the stress compared to how small someone might want to start up in a new game like that.

The bitcoin fee is really crazy right now. Just imagine if I want to place a $10 bet and I have to pay $5 as a fee in order for my transaction to go through, and before the deposit arrives, I might have even lost appetite for the game, which is not really a good thing at all. So for the main reason that the bitcoin network is congested, I don't think it will be profitable to run a bitcoin-only casino.

As others have said, this is not the first time that we have heard this kind of idea, but if you think that you can compete or at least be different from crypto casinos that have been this kind of games already, then do it.

Also if I may add, you have this idea so why not go for it? Who knows, maybe there is competition but if you can stand up then gamblers here might go and bet on your game. And as the saying goes, the more the merrier, so at least we can see options and not just play on casinos that has the Powerball. And besides, if we feel unlucky on some casinos or platform, then we might look at your games.

As @Oilacris already said, lottery sites have not been successful in this forum and probably on the entire internet and the reason for many online lottery sites failing is because in the real world in most countries where the Christian religion is dominant, there are reliable lottery companies and lottery tickets are very cheap and accessible to everyone over 18 years of age, so people can buy lottery tickets on any corner of the neighborhood in which they live. Therefore, no one would stop buying a lottery ticket close to home to go buy a lottery ticket on the internet and on a new website that does not know who owns the website.

Another negative point is that even people who already have cryptocurrencies will choose to play slots, sports bets which are things where they have a greater chance of getting it right and winning money than buying lottery tickets online which are unlikely to win and also hardly see websites of online lottery giving jackpot of millions of dollars to the winner, this is because online lottery ticket sites are very limited in financial terms. So the owners of these online lottery sites choose to create a simple layout and very low jackpot. This and other factors that I mentioned do not attract people to buy tickets and participate in these lotteries

I believe that even people who have crypto prefer to use fiat in the real world rather than buying a real world lottery ticket which has offered a lot of money to the winner and is always being managed by very trustworthy companies. In my opinion, if you want to get into this online lottery business, then do a lot of research before investing your time and money in this business and then having regrets when it doesn't work out.

There has been the same idea that existed last 2019 but not already active now. So I guess you can run your own to as there's no such kind of gambling platform active now in bitcointalk

You might want to take a peek on the thread I was referring.

So its just simply a lottery. Try to look into this gambling board alone and filter out to those lottery based sites or platforms. What can you see? For sure you would really be coming back and telling that
all of them are gone. Why? due to lack of recognition and demand on which it isnt really that shocking considering that interest of lottery games here on this forum is just less.
Legal backed? How you would be doing such thing? Escrowed? there would be no assurance that the money is 100% safe. The only platform i do saw on which lottery is legit
and can be trusted is into that Freebitco.in thing which its been running  for long years now.
