It's great to see Peercoin gaining awareness in mainstream channels. While I would say it's premature to think it will overtake BTC anytime soon, I do like the energy-efficiency and security aspects of the coin. Expect big things from Sunny King and the PPC team in 2014
I expect Peercoin to go up in one to two weeks when people, who have heard the first time about Peercoin, have done thair research.
YOU should do your research too, if you do not own Peercoins yet. It´s not just the fast growing community (thanks to John) but it´s technically the best coin.

This, people need to realize that the article isnt big news for people that already are invested in cryptocurrency, but for those who haven't. So I'd expect that in a week or two the most popular altcoins (PPC, XPM, LTC) will rise.

Unfortunately I saw giant rises in LTC and PPC prices after I created two threads here about them being undervalued... sometimes I wonder if, in the future, I should just keep my mouth shut.
Am I the only one that thinks this is complete bs so OP can stack up on PPC and dump on everyone when "sunday morning nyt" article gets published? If you look at the price of PPC it is rising substantially now.. I would be wary to buy in expecting such great news
