If you lose your phone or it is destroyed, you are SOL. Say bye-bye to your cryptocoin.

Um you can contact support in this case. I did that once (hahaha) they helped me out. I was able to prove the account was mine.

I've set it up. I didn't hit the button "code scanned" (blush). Now TOTP works fine.

Can you withdraw TRC and LTC without using google authentication for your account?

No, and this is a good thing. Convenince leads to mistakes. It's a pain yes, if you don't have the Google Authentication, but it's better then having some script kiddie at starbucks steal your coins.

if somebody has an android phone.. once the google authenticator app is installed it literally takes like 1-2 minutes to set it up with the site. its amazingly easy.

I have troubles setting up GA. It's my first time using it, may be I miss something:

I installed google auth app on my desktop PC. Than in GA login section, I choosed HOTP token and clicked "create code". Next I copy the 16 character code to modify key in google auth app. Also I checked the Two factor authentication option in my account to enable it. When I try to log in, no matter with GA code or not, this screen pop up:

Whit "Log in" button on the screen I can log in my account, but Two factor authentication isn't enabled (checkbox is ticked) and I can't withdraw my money...

Any ideas  Huh

I had trouble with the Google Authenticator service also using TOTP which I believe is time based and apparently my time and the servers time didn't sync up preventing me from doing anything but HOTP seems to be working just fine.

A note, the admin when I couldn't get my balances withdrawn myself He manually withdrew bitcoins and litecoins for me, thank you

Google authenticator had me stuck too

Hopefully they will put up clear instructions on how to use it if we're going to be forced to use it even when it's disabled in our account settings...

I really need help with my account. I sent an e-mail through your contact form over 24 hours ago and have not yet received a response.

Your Google Authenticator service is preventing me from doing anything with my account. I had no idea what i was doing when I attempted to set up Google Authenticator because your site has no directions at all, and I shouldn't even be using the AUtheticator because it is disabled in my settings.

I have over 800 PPC sitting in the account that I can't do anything with because of your Google Authenticator service.

Please do not ignore me, those are my coins and I would like them back please, thank you.

Nobody is trading lol

Unless one can trade any coin for any other coin, it's not exchange - it's tool for price manipulations by owner.

I agree to the extent that I'm not pleased that you can only exchange TRC for PPC.  Why not BTC?

I thought it was obvious I meant all in one process.  Exchange TRC for BTC.  Yes, you can exchange TRC for PPC for BTC, but that just complicates things, and doesn't make it as user friendly.

ah, just another step

1. You need to make a Google Authentication account

2. Set up Google Authentication app on your Smart phone

3. Take a picture of the QR code on the exchange website

4. You should now have a 2 Step Verification code on the phone app

5. Put the code into the exchange to withdraw your money

Hope that helps

How this is possible with windows client, i have no smartphone, but want to trade PPC?TRC and withdrawal funds too. tryed windows client, but that did not workd.

The note about problems with the terracoin daemon is interesting. I've had those problems too, but I think there is a conflict that arrises from multiple coins on the same server. My servers with LTC/BTC/TRC all were a bit flakey, but if I have only TerraCoin or only TErracoin and LTC running, it seems much more stable.

BTC daemon is currently a strong IO killer (at least in its stable releases, if you use the "cutting edge" code, you also switch to the new storage implementation, the one terracoin started with).

Caution: if you do not want to kill your current chain (and/or wallet), be able to downgrade, do not try the unreleased bitcoin source Smiley

If you don't store the blockchain in a ramdisk, any bitcoin-based daemon still relying on the "old" implementation will suck your harddrive IO like hell, running multiple instances of them on the same box isn't quite a good idea if you don't have the required hardware Sad

I guess that is the problem you encountered while running multiple bitcoin-based daemons on the same physical harddrives

EDIT: again ... as the "migration" process from old storage to the new one was recently merged in bitcoin master branch, do not play with it if you don't know  what you're really doing Smiley
(or at least, use a completely new installation, 100% separated from any of your stable installation / sandboxed)
