as soon as i read all threads and watched all chat rooms today i took DB ads and links off my site. i am still shocked what just happen. i cant believe someone just threw away a million dollar business

Depends on how you look at it. There is a good chance someone just made a quarter of a million in 24 hours.

well, it wasnt me.

PS Dean, i have my sig open now and is for sale.

and i still have a 728x90 banner slot open on my dice invest page

http://cryptobettingindex.com/dice-invest/

PRC #1 crowdsourced bankroll site. Bigger max profit than anywhere except PD.

PocketRocketsCasino in operation since April 2013 (longer than just-dice.com)

I think CryptoBettingIndex should advertised sites that have been around the longest, just saying.

I won a lot on PRC and a lost a lot to a provably fair algo. Fuckin way she goes

i asked dean last month 3 times if he wanted a banner on my dice invest page. never heard from him, or got reply i'll think about it. then i asked one last and he sent me a reply that he is not interested. i felt like i was bugging him so i said to myself dont ask anymore. this was a smal ad sale $40

the reason i asked dmf over at dice.ninja is because we have become great friends the last 5 months and he has help me  a number of times when i had no money and had some bills to pay. he has also been a stand up guy to me and i love his sites. his sites are so diffrent from all the dice sites. it is refreshing

i have nothing against dean or PRC. in fact, i like dean and the site.

as for longest running sites. ive asked stunna many many times if he would advertise and always got, wait for this or get back to me next week. i tweet all his milestone go extra mile to promote PD when i can and seems to never give me the time of day. so i gave up

If you think a place with dumb users telling investors to kill themselves every 2 mins and penis drawing that look like kids drawn them are cool then maybe its for you.

Really may your screen shot is a joke and prc is full of dickheads.

You might have noticed that there have been many trolls around yesterday after DBC shutdown.
I think you're being completely unfair here.

You are right about KLYE, but that's just the way he is. If you had been on Just-Dice back then you would know him. Heck, everybody knows him.

The moral of the story is to test your code before you deploy it.

Doog even if they tested their code, if the code hadn't fucked up and done a small % of bets like it should have, they wouldn't have found out either, unless they did an extensive code review.

Also, don't you cast any suspicion on Manl's story of this supposedly new employee?  I still don't think it bears any weight whatsoever.

PRC is the dice/gamblong community to be in:

Big thanks to the great community as well!

see for yourself

So its the best community to be in because of the free btc you get?

Best community? i only asked a few question there so i could feel safe investing only to get talked to like rubbish by some guy bazza and some childish fool klye. The people there don't help in anyway way and failed  to make me want to invest.
I could of been petty and done a screen shot but no point just visit to find out for yourself.

@Dooglus: I agree with the moral of the story. Absolutely.
But:

Quote
It differs from Dicebitcoin in 2 ways:
1. it was the provably fair algorithm that was wrong, not code
2. it was not a deliberately coded function that frauded players out of their winnings.

I also agree with the post above me.

If finnile wasn't verifying everything he possibly can (similar to KLYE although different field) this would have never been uncovered.
If they set the skip interval a lil higher it would have probably even never been found by fin.

Doog all I hear from you is trying to push everything to PRC.

I rarely mention them. I just saw May talking about how unbelievable it is that a dice site would put untested code live. I mean, really?

It differs from Dicebitcoin in 2 ways:
1. it was the provably fair algorithm that was wrong, not code
2. it was not a deliberately coded function that frauded players out of their winnings.

No, but in both cases the code obviously wasn't very well examined, so the fact that in one case it was malicious and in the other case it wasn't is purely accidental. It could easily have been the other way around.

The moral of the story is to test your code before you deploy it.

Doog, they did test it. It worked according to dicebitcoins plans. They just didn't get away with it!

The situation on DB is totally different and far worse.

Do you not see the similarity?

Hint: "I let the new guy access critical code in my company without checking it myself or getting it audited" <-- you both did this (except in neither case did the guy actually have access to the code, and the "responsible" person just put it live without testing it - so it's even similar in how it's different).

Funny you should say that, because just a couple of months ago PRCDice was running untested code written by the new guy. The code made it possible for players to win in the long run by generating high rolls more often than low rolls.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Doog all I hear from you is trying to push everything to PRC. Yes they had an issue, it was openly discussed to death. it was dealt with and everyone except the guy doing the exploit and arro were pleased with the result.

It differs from Dicebitcoin in 2 ways:
1. it was the provably fair algorithm that was wrong, not code
2. it was not a deliberately coded function that frauded players out of their winnings.

Dicebitcoin wrote code that deliberately skipped winning bets in the hope that no one would ever check. I mean who does check? They also make claim it was a new guy. I find it hard to swallow that anyone would trust a new guy with $4million dollars of asset value.

Please stop going on about a circumstance that happened a while back which doesn't remotely relate to this attempted fraud.
