Meros will launch with a GUI wallet; the question becomes how quality of a GUI wallet can we make by launch. I, the lead developer, am not a GUI developer in any sense. I've always been a backend developer. We had one user designing various interactions which were really promising, yet he disappeared. We also had two separate developers volunteer to work on the GUI, yet both became busy with their own work. As I've recently taken contract jobs, I do have limited funds available, and I plan on properly hiring a developer to work on the GUI using them.

What is the latest in regards to GUI design and so on, i was in your Discord and saw the last update in regards to the GUI was in August, is the project still go on as expected?
I am posting here on BTF so to have more users aware of your project as well as it seems to be very promising!

In this case, what are the minimum requirements for CPU (intel) would be needed?
In discord I read that meros is initially focused for AMD CPU. Is that so?
The minimum CPU requirements do not change to the point of mention. The amount of RAM required increases, which is meant to disrupt certain GPUs, along with eventual FPGAs/ASICs.
RandomX does show an AMD bias, yet Meros does not focus either way.

Unfortunately, we didn't see Mero when we rebranded to Meros due to its size. When we did learn of it, it was effectively dead, with discussions of a community takeover. We've since observed that its community takeover has been fragmented, with one user creating an ERC20 and other users remaining with the BTC codebase. That said, Meros and Mero have no affiliation and are two distinct projects. We don't feel a need to comment on the various coins created by Mero's team and community as it's not our project.
