What's the best gpu for Lyra2REv2?

1080s and 1080 tis are pretty good at Lrya2rev2. They are definitely worth the price/hash, especially considering how they use under 200w.

Sidenote:

Dev: The algorithm choice definitely favors your coins purpose. I'll try to catch this on launch  Grin Goodluck !

AMD is better !!!

but the Nicehash is the best choice for some dumpers !

Interesting, 1st block 13/01/18?
Unless we mined it from the future, you got something wrong.

Pool giving 502 ...
Sorry about that, we were changing some specs on coin.json to show testnet properly on the frontend.

everything looks so promising, but if viewed from its history, maybe as far as I know, no coins coming from brazil experience success in building a project or altcoin. but this could be the first and only coin from Brazil, which will be successful later

I completely agree with you, N-gen.
First, let me tell you, this is definitely not the first coin coming from Brazil, many altcoins were launched during the altcoin craze of 2012 or so.
The main difference is that, back then, it was very hard to get people onboard so, many of these altcoins eventually died and were abandoned by their devs.

We do believe that Criptoreal has a very good potential to gain traction because of all the mass media attention cryptocurrencies are getting nowadays in the country.
if you have time, read this interesting report from 2016: https://bravenewcoin.com/news/santander-says-yes-to-bitcoin-in-brazil/

Obviously, is very hard to adopt BTC nowadays with everything that's going on, so our main idea is to develop a "country specific" blockchain that could eventually be accepted by retailers online and off, with a difficulty retargeting efficient enough that even if the hashrate falls, the blockchain would continue to grow, as that was the main problem with some of the coins that I mentioned before.

Furthermore, we chose specifically the Lyra2DeV2 algorithm (#funfact did you know that the original Lyra and Lyra 2 were developed by Brazilians? ) because of its nonexistent ASICs (for the moment, obviously).
In Brazil, energy is very expensive, in fact many miners are crossing the border to Paraguay in order to keep their operations profitable.
So we needed an algorithm able to be mined by the local population, 1 GPU 1 vote and all that...

is it POW/POS coin? what about masternodes?
Only POW for now.

What about masternodes?
We do not agree with the centralization provided by masternodes.
Brazilian people know that problem all too well, where wealth and power is held by very few.

Let's do this! Launch in how many days?
on Saturday 2pm GMT-3

Best Wishes.. Looks great
Thank you!
