All empty but beautiful words in the ann page, does not mean anything to me. Sounds more like a marketing for ICO.
we understand how that could be perceived and thats not what we intended at all. We are still in the planning stage but have 2 workable ideas which we are trying to fund development for and a third which is our current long term goal. We do not intend to run an ICO, we are only listing MN pre sale values with the intention of garnering the interest of legitimate investors who share our mentality. Our base ideas are out in the open on our website and we would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. We intend to release a full ANN, once we have found funding for creation of the chain, with all applicable information included as well as updates if we have made headway in development. Update: We will soon have our funding campaign up. This will be too complete the funds needed to get the Blockchain, Masternodes, and Wallets up. From there, we will use any remaining funds too start on exchange listings and marketing to spread the word about Icarus. A lot of common words for peace, friendship, assistance to investors and very few words about the project. I would like more specifics. White paper, team information, roadmap.
This is definitely a valid point. We purposely did not include that in this post because we didn't want the Pre-ANN and the ANN to be exactly the same. Also, we do have an E-book in pdf format with most of that information that we were going to include in the ANN, but if you would like to see it early, we would be more than happy to provide you with it! So... What's This Project About?
We are a team (2 at the moment) of people dedicated to making a change. We know, we know, you hear that all the time, but hear us out. What we want to do ultimately, is help people, and to elaborate further on this statement, we have a mini-road map of words, just for this PRE-ANN:
Short Term:
We would like to implement an application that does data analysis on coins that either submit to the platform, or coins that the community would like us to research. We want to help existing (and future) investors invest with confidence, both safely and wisely. We hope that these efforts help break the stigma around the crypto-space, and ultimately bring in newcomers, which would in turn help everyone in this space. The more people we can educate and put at ease, the more projects that could really make a difference, will get funded. We believe that all the projects that honestly want to do good and make a difference, should not be overshadowed by those who chose to take advantage of their investors and exit with their money. It's still in the prototype phase, but our ideas for the platform are way beyond that. The platform would not tell you what to invest in, but it would calculate and weigh the risks of investing in that particular project by analyzing social presence, verification of the developers, the idea behind the project, and much more.
TL;DR For Short Term:
-Build a community to educate existing and new investors on safe and wise investing to minimize the risk of investing in potential scams
-Build an application, more than likely web-based then stand-alone not far after, to analyze coins either submitted or chosen by the community

After we have accomplished getting a lot more people comfortable in the crypto-space, we ultimately would like to expand way past individual basis. We would like to talk to charities and non-profits, in an attempt to intertwine the new, exisitng, and future programs with the blockchain. We believe that blockchain technology could help charities and non-profits help a lot more people at a faster rate, by speeding up how quick the funds get to those areas, and how large of a scale they can reach. We plan on soon applying to make our team an actual business in the physical world, because we feel as being a legitimate business would give us benefits we wouldn't have as a crypto-only project. We have talked about it extensively, and we have agreed that if we ever got to the point where this sustains us enough that we could quit our day jobs, and just help people from our community, and around the world; we would do it in a heartbeat.

I found the idea of the project is quite interesting. Project focused on community. But if you can not hire an excellent blockchain developer then what will happen to the project?
Thank you blockchain man, we really appreciate the interest! And we have an amazing blockchain developer that has expressed that he will work with us. We have personally seen him turn projects around in no time, and he has also worked on and created successful projects, so his record is phenomenal. icarus has a locked token supply this 800,000 is 2% of the total token supply described for airdrop and bounty programs. why must it be locked?
800,000 is locked so that we can market properly, and spread the word to build the project
