Hey, everyone.

Thanks for your interest in our little gold coins.

The last few updates on this project have been posted on our general BP "Updates & Other Stuffs" thread. I was trying to keep all the updates and other info in a single thread, which is why I haven't replied here since last year. Plus, the 2021 Gold coins project had been officially abandoned in favor of an upcoming 2022 Gold release, so I didn't want to confuse anyone by continuing to post in this old 2021 thread. That, and the project in integrally entwined with our 2022 Silver project, so it doesn't quite fit here anymore.

However, it's time for a brief update on the Gold & Silver project anyway, so I'll do it here first. (Then over to the "Updates & Other Stuffs" thread.)

In early October, we plan to reach out again to the mint and begin production on the Gold and Silver coins. (Right now, we're recovering from Covid here at TBPCO, and I'm only working half-days for the remainder of this week. Next week will start full-time again, if I'm able enough.)

Until then, I'm resting and preparing for a surprise revival of our 2015 eBay account where we will be selling all old stock merchandise (2015-2021) as well as something a little odd that will be available exclusively on that sales channel. So stay tuned.

Been a minute or two since we had an update on the new Goldies....what's the latest news??? Thank You Sir     Still looking forward to getting these....

Just wanted to check in with you again, last I heard the 4th of April, it was going to be 2 or 3 weeks until the start (or end?) of production of the Goldies....any updates?

Sorry, everyone. I thought I had sent an update on the golds and silvers, but it seems that those updates were sent either via PMs or off-forum.

The latest update on the delay is that the third-party die-maker had shipped the finished dies to the mint, but they were poorly packaged (due to new employees, I'm told) and chipped during transit. The die-maker was supposed to rush a replacement order, and they were expected to be received at the mint by last week, but I'm still waiting on the mint to verify their arrival. Once those dies arrive, they're supposed to rush my order thru production and start minting immediately. As long as they still have plenty of bullion on hand, I'd expect no longer than 2-3 weeks for the final product to be in my hands and ready to ship. (Finally!) Until then, we're delaying the release of any of our other upcoming coins and/or other projects. We want to settle all the gold orders before taking any additional orders for new releases like our (to be minted at the same time) 2021 Silver coins, our very first 2021 Silver DIY Mini Physicals coins, and our 2021 standard copper Mini Physicals DIY coins. (As well as several other new projects that are either done and waiting, or will be done and ready to ship shortly after the gold and silver coins.)

The main lesson learned by this long wait period is that I doubt we'll be doing any pre-sales again in the future, especially during pandemical times when supplies and manufacturing are super slow.

Now that the Holidays have gone by, we all hope and prey that anyone taken ill has recovered and rejoined their loved ones. Please pass along our regards to the people making this happen for us Pennyman. Any new updates would be very much appreciated. 

[A Long Overdue] UPDATE:

As many of you know from our PMs, the 2021 Gold & Silver coins are behind in production. This started several weeks ago when my mint contact left work suddenly due to medical issues. (She's back now and in good health.) Unfortunately, my mint contact was hospitalized before she could send our production orders to the production house, so our orders were in limbo for several weeks. Recently, the problem was addressed, and production has begun. Unfortunately (again), this is the mint's busiest time of the year, so even with the upgraded "rush order," we're still looking at another 4 weeks until the coins are completed and in my hands for customer distribution. Unofficially, the mint is pushing to have these shipped before the year's end. Hopefully, there will be no more glitches, and these beautiful coins will be on your doorsteps before we can say, "pretty pretty bling-bling!"

In the meantime, stay safe out there and enjoy the holiday season!

I believe that we still have one gold coin that is unclaimed. Regardless, we're still looking at the same release date of mid-November, so be ready.

UPDATE: As of this moment, we still have 3 gold coins available for sale. All other coins have been claimed. (Of those, only 2 coins remain unpaid.) Production starting soon.
