oh yes & if someone could be kind enough to drop in a couple of 50k walls with bid at $9.86815 & ask $9.86817 for a minute at closing time I would very much appreciate that & would of course be more than happy to share the 2 Btc prize with you - muchas gracias

I wouldn't complain if he put that bid up right from now. Smiley
yep but who'd want that much slippage, better to spend a couple of months gradually accumulating the Bits & moving the price nearer the target  Smiley

I just like to be different. ;p
But, some part of me would like it to stay stable at a lower price for a bit longer while some more services can mature around Bitcoin. Don't get me wrong, I like 'earnings' as much as the next guy. I just think long term growth of the economy itself is worth more than quick returns on investments. I have a feeling the big money agrees. Aside from buying into small rallys there will be more evidence of that.  I think it would be much, much healthier for us to be in a position to invest in the value of Bitcoin based business ventures than in the currency itself.

cheers

I have to agree that it would be nice to have stability.  Looking at last months numbers, we had been trading in range for 2 weeks at $3-$3.25 and for nearly another 2 weeks at $4-$4.25.

If we could stick to the $5.25 range for a week or so and then build up a steadily, would instill confidence that this climb is not a bubble.

I find myself investing in more Bitcoin related things when the BTC price is stable.
