Define 'die'.
Someone will always mine and accept both for money, which means neither will completely die.
Unless there is a fatal technical flaw discovered or it's 51% attacked, but that attack could equally kill both at the same time.

+1

There are still people mining Tenebrix and Fairbrix. Apparently the Fairbrix network still has working nodes, but the Tenebrix network is getting diffcult to connect to. By "die" do you mean it becomes impossible to connect to a coin's network?

High-risk, high-reward.

In my opinion it is more probable for Dogecoin to gain half of bitcoin market cap, than for bitcoin to show the same amount of growth in the same period of time.

But as always, don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.

You are delusional if you think a coin with no hard cap is going to ever gain half of bitcoin's marketcap.

As for OP Litecoin will never die as it's on every major exchange in China. Underestimating Litecoin's popularity in China will cause you great pain in the future.

i'm china , i don't think LTC is popularity in china.  LTC will die, in future

When Doge and LTC are dead its because BTC is also dead as is the entire crypto scene. I doubt that this will ever happen.

only i can say now is that litecoin bag holders have now enough money to block any downfall of their coin.. if it gets dumped is because they decided to quit.
i know a whale who had 500 k litecoins.. and that was before 48 usd price.. you know how much money he has now?

then its likely to die soon than litecoin.. when it was at 2x satoshis the bagholders released some news about it to pump it again but the reality is that it remains as useless as fuck as the first day.

The truth is, most cryptos don't have a lot of unique use cases now, including Bitcoin. That's why all market caps have been going down, pegged to Bitcoin or not, and Bitcoin itself is in bear market. That will be the race and it already is, whichever crypto offers most unique use cases - will lead the pack, the next 12-24 months will be decisive.

yee.. we need another bitcoin bubble or at least a return to 800 usd so rest of alts can recover.

No, we don't need no bubbles. Bubble is not what I am talking about, bubbles are bad, mkay.

As you know, Dogecoin and Litecoin just a clone of Bitcoin, there is nothing new, the blockchain tech is developing all the time, so let's predict when these two sh*t coins die?

both coins are pegged to bitcoin... then as far as bitcoin continues his rise and rise those couple of shits will remain alive and strong.. cause all the people take some btc to invest in alts to not put all the eggs in... you know
if they die is cause bitcoin died too or because many time has past.

Dogecoin is not pegged to bitcoin, you can look at the charts.

Dogecoin is independent.

More like BTC, LTC and Doge will die around the same time.  BTC is only 500K-2M users.  The internet back in 1989 had 3 million users.  6 years in this internet age and barely anyone is using digital currencies yet despite all the hype and government attention.

Nobody is focusing on userbase expansion for BTC so it's a matter of time until some coin better at promotion and userbase expansion will simply fly past Bitcoin and people will be struggling to comprehend what just happened.

This pretty much.

You are delusional if you think a coin with no hard cap is going to ever gain half of bitcoin's marketcap.

Currency supply:

Dogecoin and bitcoin estimated inflation rate for the next 10 years.

2015: Bitcoin: 10.00% | Dogecoin: 5.20%
2016: Bitcoin: 9.09%   | Dogecoin: 4.94%
2017: Bitcoin: 4.17%   | Dogecoin: 4.71%
2018: Bitcoin: 4.00%   | Dogecoin: 4.50%
2019: Bitcoin: 3.85%   | Dogecoin: 4.30%
2020: Bitcoin: 3.70%   | Dogecoin: 4.13%
2021: Bitcoin: 1.79%   | Dogecoin: 3.96%
2022: Bitcoin: 1.75%   | Dogecoin: 3.81%
2023: Bitcoin: 1.72%   | Dogecoin: 3.67%
2024: Bitcoin: 1.69%   | Dogecoin: 3.54%

“The goal for the currency is to keep approximately 100 billion coins in circulation - thus after 100 billion Dogecoins are created, rewards will continue at 10k each block. This will help maintain mining and stabilize the number of coins in circulation (considering lost wallets and various other ways coins may be destroyed) at 100 billion.”
