Esports is currently a trend, right? In my opinion, traditional forms of betting, such as horse racing, won't be easily replaced. People still have an interest in these sports, although it has declined since the rise of other categories in online gambling.

On the other hand, I like the idea of blockchain gambling, but only if it is completely decentralized.
To be honest, horse racing is not really that popular worldwide, it is played in some specific countries and only a specific group of countries like the sport and also bet on it, on the other hand, eSports is a global trend, almost every single country has it and people from all around the world like eSports and the games and the players playing those games, so the craze for eSports is already higher than horse racing or any traditional sport of that nature.

So even though it doesn't necessarily have to replace horse racing or any other traditional sports, eSports is creating its place at the top along with football/soccer which is the most popular game when it comes to sports betting because of the craze people have for the game.

nowadays talking about anonymity is an illusion, even for a person to be able to buy bitcoin is a big headache, the person first needs to open a bank account in their country, for that they will need to go through a very strict kyc, after that the person will have to create an account on an exchange where they will have to go through kyc, but different from the rigid kyc of the bank in that person's country, on the exchange that person will have to have a passport, so if the person didn't have a passport they will have to go get treatment passport, which also require documents and money. once with a passport, the person fara kyc in the exchange, then buys bitcoin using the bank account

when the person puts a lot of money in the casino he will be asked for kyc, if the person wants to withdraw a lot of money in the casino he will have to do kyc, so OP forget anonymity, these things no longer exist in this market. about the AI, it doesn't predict the future so we can't praise the AI too much, in my opinion each person needs to do their own research to place bets, you can't trust third parties, the best thing is for the person to analyze it for himself the game is a bet, this makes the person gain experience and manage to improve more and more. but when the person depends on other people, then the person will not be able to place sports bets alone

Sooner the harder it would be to buy BTC when everyone will be using CBDC. Transactions are all recorded and SEC wants to have access to the exchanges data. In fact, this is what they refer to when they said the Spot ETF of Blackrock application was inadequate. The SEC wants to monitor all from banks, to the order books of the exchanges.

It's also a big leap for Esport since the new generation is up to betting on such sports. Anyone today can participate in esport as long as they have access to the internet.

Traditional games can't be replaced easily, in my place that horse racing are still popular though some might see this not interesting at all but those gamblers who used to play this one can't easily leave the horse betting. The rise of the online gambling is high as well and as we continue to grow when it comes to technology, for sure they will introduce a new platform and that can be integrated with blockchain technology. The idea is great, but traditional will stay you like it or not.

Like horse racing, eSports matches take place every day and close to 24 hours a day. Unlike horse racing, animals aren’t involved, which means there is no cruelty aspect to Esports.

It's true that esports is growing a lot, especially during the pandemic and the lock downs we saw a large number of people to start gaming more regularly. With new games coming out each month there is a huge market for developers, and organizing tournaments is a great way to try and keep your game relevant. Just look at how old Dota 2 is and still with help of Valve it has the biggest online tournaments in the world. Just winning one of these tournaments is life changing for the players and makes up for the thousands hours put into the game. But with the rise of esports it's also harder to stay on top of the various. Just because there are games every day we can bet money on, doesn't mean we should actually do so. There is a lot of money to be made with online betting, as long as we some advantage. At least for me it's best to stick to two popular games, mainly Dota2 and CSGO and focus the big games there. With so many different opportunities to bet on I am afraid to lose focus and bet without any advantages.

Your conviction in AI's role within gambling's world is well-founded, yet I offer an alternate perspective. AI brings perks, automating labor-intensive odds setting, pattern analysis, no doubt optimizing these tasks. But let's ponder: at what expense? In your narrative, this aspect is somewhat MIA. AI could automate, yes, but aren't we then booting numerous jobs off the sector? Could AI's introduction tilt the odds further in casinos' favor, compromising fair play? Also, ethical concerns mustn't be sidelined. If casinos use AI to game player behavior, aren't we breaching their privacy rights and fair game assurance? So, your argument is not without merit, but the holistic implications of AI's infiltration into gambling warrant deeper consideration.

Totally agree! AI is gonna shake things up big time in many industries, and the job market's gonna feel the impact for sure. But ya know, it ain't just a simple "AI taking over all the jobs" kinda deal. I'm actually pretty optimistic about it. 'Cause along with the disruption, AI's gonna open up new doors and create job opportunities we can't even wrap our heads around right now. It's gonna be a wild ride, but I think we'll figure it out and adapt in ways we never thought possible!

Now, when it comes to AI in gambling, who knows what's already going on behind the scenes? The gambling industry is huge, and it's no surprise they're diving into AI and machine learning. Some casinos are already getting pretty high-tech. They've got facial recognition software to catch any cheaters and keep tabs on how long folks spend on those slot machines.

So yeah, AI is definitely making its way into the gambling world. It's all part of the ongoing technological advancements we're seeing. Who knows what other stuff they'll come up with next?

Of the four this is the one that I found interesting, this is still speculative AI is proven to work in other industries but in gambling, it is not yet proven and the study is still ongoing, It still works on probability and analysis just like human behavior, it will never take into account upsets and under unavoidable circumstances but let's see if it gets good results then it will become popular among players.

I'm not so sure. it seems like AI has shown some promising results in different industries, including gambling. Although it's still an ongoing study and experimentation (like with any new tech), AI's knack for analyzing probabilities and patterns could bring in fresh perspectives and possibilities, ultimately enhancing decision-making processes. Sooner or later, it's likely to find its way into the gambling industry, if it hasn't already. However, the first ones benefiting from this new technology are probably the casinos themselves. All those odds makers still heavily rely on manual labor, like inputting stats, monitoring match progress, and crunching numbers for odds based on past results and stats. It's a whole bunch of human work that takes up loads of time. But there's no doubt that AI algorithms will take over most of that work someday.

Interesting topic op. AI could help predict sports event outcomes for sure, but the accuracy will vary a lot depending on various factors. For example, ChatGPT won't help much in this area since it depends on old data.

On the other hand, Bard could help a lot more in this area since it focuses on real-time data.

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
What we can observe is that stricter regulatory frameworks are coming to crypto. Anonymous betting isn't going to be a thing in the biggest bookmakers in the future. We already have many crypto casinos that require KYC or make you believe identity verification isn't required. It's not, as long as you are losing.

I don't think AI will help players make better betting decisions in the future. AI can analyze stats and data and determine the most possible outcome. The match still has to be played, and there are absolutely no certainties in sport, regardless of the odds.

I have never seen any attraction in eSports betting and I doubt that will change in the future. However, people love to play video games and they love to gamble. Combine the two and you got yourself a winning combination.

Top 4 Trends and Technologies that Will Shape the Industry

2. AI oddsmaking and handicapping
Arena is an artificial intelligence start up that is generating simulations of human behavior. The simulations should help those in the advertising industry better determine where to spend their ad dollars.

If Arena’s AI tech can help the ad industry, it for sure could help determine where players are most likely to put their money. If that happens, oddsmakers will have a powerful tool. If we take it further, AI could help players, especially players that bet a lot of money, find optimal wagers based on odds.

Without a doubt, there’s a place for AI technology in the sports betting industry. We must all keep an eye on how things develop.

In an event that AI will hypothetically become succeful on gambling industry, particularly on sport betting. I thing the odds set by the book maker will be dynamic based on the actual placed on each side. It will be more on a PVP instead of the current odds that players against casino bankroll since bookmaker will adapt to the current status of betting to still have a profit.

We mght see a very low odds on strong teams since only few will bet on weak team unlike the current odds structure which bookmaker is confident that bettors decision will be split because there’s no AI that will give them prediction.

What's more likely to happen is involvement of AI to different industries such as online gambking but I hope not in a sense of cheating. It could be useful on making platforms more efficient.

With probability and analysis, indeed these would be important on creating a speculation or prediciton of the outcome but will never guarantee a winning bet. One reaason is because we are in gambling industry. It won't be gambling if risk of losing is small. Also, anything could happen inside the ring, court, fields, and other settings concerning sportsbetting to give an example, as long as there's still time to do so. This simply limits technologies wherein there's no simplicity on their prograams.

Anonymity remains a prized possession in the sports betting industry. Anonymous betting is a trend that won’t go away any time soon. Blockchain tech, especially Bitcoin’s blockchain, makes it capable to remain anonymous while wagering on your favorite team.
Casinos are centralized and they always ask for KYC which makes the bettor not anonymous. Some casino that claim to be decentralized, the moment you win big, they will start asking for KYC. That is why if you are a gambler, you can never have privacy or to by anonymous. The casinos has killed decentralization if though you are betting with btc.
That is true because centralized casinos will ask for KYC once their users exceed the limit on the amount of money the casino sets. Decentralized casinos will also implement KYC like centralized casinos, and like it or not, that's what can happen to casinos. So perhaps, we won't see the freedom to play gambling in casinos, especially if we use big money to gamble.

3. Esports betting
Esports betting is the fastest segment of sports betting because it’s the fastest growing. It feels like every year there’s an eSports league in development.
You are in right esport is growing very fast and it can easily make you run at big loss with 15mins. Most youth are involved in this and majority of the population in the world are youths.
Even though esports is growing very fast, it has not been able to beat sports betting because so many sports have entered into casinos with people betting on their favorite teams. But esports has become a gambling game with fans like other gambling games.

But we can't deny that Blockchain and bitcoin betting has become a trend that no one else can beat because bitcoin betting offers something that can give them multiple profits if they win some bitcoins and sell them to fiat.

Do not die for Putin
You are totally correct that while Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, its transactions are recorded on a public blockchain, which means they can be traced and analysed. It is pseudo anonymous really, not fully visible as the original holder is not known unless they want to be known but cryptocurrencies like Monero (XMR) might be a better choice. Monero is designed to offer enhanced privacy features,

Well, though Blockchain can create decentralized ways for sports bettors to bet on sports events without any central authorities if there are more web3 sports betting platforms, for the time being, there aren't a lot of options in this regard. Almost all the popular casinos and sports betting platforms are centralized and they only allow you to deposit and gamble with cryptocurrencies which doesn't make them decentralized at all.

About the usage of AI in sports betting industry, that does sound pretty interesting and it can surely provide gamblers with a lot of advantages if AI can help them determine which platform they should choose to get better odds for their bets, players would be delighted for a tool like that.

I was also thinking  that bitcoin  helps provide anonymity while gambling but on the second thought, I realized that the moment  we submit our details through kyc on gambling sites and casinos, the anonymity  which bitcoin  would have provided during deposit and withdrawal are gone especially  for registered casinos which 95 percent demand for KYC at some points while using their site but we can safe for casinos that don't ask for kyc but how much an we trust such platforms that aren't registered?

Export is already becoming a big thread in the gambling industry and I also agree with you  that in time to come, that it might be possible for it to overshadow horse racing.

Defend Bitcoin and its PoW: bitcoincleanup.com
I feel like E-sports is going to be big, especially when virtual reality goes mainstream and people are able to experience multiplayer rivalry with full immersion.
Back in the day the e-sports scene was mainly old starcraft and shooters like quake that offered basic 3d, then it moved to an era of high quality graphics, but this is slowly reaching its limits as players noticed that better graphics makes its sometimes harder to aim, so most of them play on low anyway. I feel like next move will be into immersion, maybe games that react to your eye movement, games that make you see and hear things around you, maybe even feel being shot, make you smell gunpowder...

AI is a difficult thing to bet on because we don't know if it won't get banned by people who fear it. It's like Early bitcoin that could get stopped in its early days, but wasn't and now it's too late.
