40,000 to 60,000 is the target in some articles that I have read. I can't recall which ones.
It may go 4,000 to 6,000 first before it reaches these targets based on some analyst forecast as well.

Not sure on the approximate price at the end of the year, but very optimistic that I will gain a substantial profit. I don’t usually care about predictions from so called industry experts. As if these people know something that we don’t already know. 
i still think there will be a big rise this year and if the bottom of $9000 continues to hold as it is these days we can see $20k be broken in maybe 2 months and from there the rise is going to be easy. the rally may need an initiation though, some big good news to get it all started. otherwise it will be sideways and slow rises.
Some of the expert on bitcoin feild says, that that the bitcoin may rich up to $50k at the end of the year 2018, I think it is possible, becaus rid we take a look at the past price chart it is really experiencing a huge dump from the start of this year, it is almost the same thing that was already happen last year that bitcoin start in a verry low value and at the end of year 2017 it really rise so high. I believe that the speculation of the expert has a strong basis, and some of there speculation may came true.
I definitely believe that bitcoin will be recovering great in the last quarter of this year 2018 and most likely I would speculate that it may reach $25K. I would suggest that the current BTC price drop is the right timing in buying BTC at a very lower price and will have to wait until the end of this year.
In my own observation , I based on the bitcoin movement last year , Im afraid that you will have a violent reaction if I will going say that it will go up to 100K$ or more by the end of this year.
I think bitcoin might be in for a bear market this year.
I've been hoping bitcoin would recover, but it's almost the end of Q2, and bitcoin is barely able to make it past 10k. This is a bear sign for me.

Late 2018 : $20.000 at least. I think we will see a bull market after this summer, so till that time bitcoin can really crash a lot but it does not take much time for it to crash to $4K or rise to $20K, so everything is possible in this year.
I've read in some threads that the bull market will happen after the summer, but not just the bitcoin that will increase drastically ETH will also increase until 201-225% is not so clear from this news but there are many discussions about the same increase magnitude
I would be surprised if Bitcoin doesn't reach $40k sometime this year...
