I think a lot of people here are predicting Bitcoin and Ethereum price to go higher than the last ATH so I think it will not go the way they predict because the crypto market is not logical and the whales are not stupid. I think they will dump Bitcoin price to 4k USD before making a new ATH.
Everyone here has good expectations about crypto globally. When we predict about the coin, we definitely expect a price increase on the coin we have.
But the truth Bitcoin and Ethereum that certainly keeps on surviving. Because time has proven the existence of the two coins.
Personally, I predict Bitcoin and Ethereum end of 2018 will increase from 2017, analyze the price movement from the chart.
Bitcoin $ 24,230 and Ethereum $ 1836.
Fundamentally observing from some of the links below makes me believe there is an increase;

We never know the future an ICO from the beginning, because many ICO has a good concept, but couldn't finish it well.

We never know the future an ICO from the beginning, because many ICO has a good concept, but couldn't finish it well.
Personally I think we're close to a different market entirely. I think we're going to see major projects with real value blow up and become stable investments. Also think the privacy coins will be dead in the water. Anything that can pass the regulation test will have access to major traditional markets soon.
I think this year we will see a big PUMP! This is repeated every year, the market is developing rapidly and we must be ready for it!
I read somewhere recently that some analytics say that bitcoin will reach $50,000 value this year. Don't really believe this myself, but we'll see, won't we?

My prediction for 2018 is that we will see a great market until the end of 2018 once we survived that bearish dips. 2019 could be a year of a new correction in the first six months.
The truth is that no one knows, I have my doubts anyone predicted even half of the things that happened last year, bitcoin growing to 20k, all the forks that happened, the fact we were supposed to get a segwit2x fork and then it did not happen, the ban on icos and all those other things that happened.

Also I am holding ether as well as grabbing as much ether from all the possible ways.
There is often a huge difference between what we would like to see happen and what actually happens, so prediction is a risky game, deception can lead us to make irrational decisions. The best way to know what will happen in 2018 and 2019 is to wait and see.
What are your predictions for 2018?
From the main ones, I personally think that this year Ethereum will reach a good top. I would like to its price around $2,500-3000. Bitcoin...I hope it will go up again so at least people that bought in a rush in Nov/Dec. 2017 can return their money. Hopefully Bitcoin will do better and reach a million.
It would be nice to see litecoin closer to $500, or even higher.

I think 2018 will be a good year for overall cryptocurrencies not just for bitcoin, Ethereum is already picking up so by the end of the year we'll see a good growth for Eth.
ETH has a good future always. my target is also ETH 1500$ or above. sometimes ETH should be between 1500$-3000$ . btc definitely above 10000$.

my prediction, his situation will be the same. prices rise to the moon by the end of 2018, then fall in early 2019. then it will rise again in mid-2019, and peak at the end of 2019.
Most of trustworthy guys are telling that bitcoin and overall crypto is going to rise this and next year because of new people comming on a stage of crypto.
Predictions are a sheer waste of time, and from what you have written one can only gather that its a studied opinion based on market study, and a little bit of wishful thinking.
For me I said 2018 would be the year where men would be separated from boys. People would find out that mostof these ICOs idea won't work and many old projects in the space that have nothing to show, their value would go close to Zero because people would realise this won't work. We will see more sound ideas coming up this year
On account of eth and btc, you're right, but ltc seems to me that you do not fully see its strength, I think that it will break through the cover at 600-700, for it 500 as something small
Many people says that year 2018 is the great market price of cryptocurrency, but on my own prediction, the price of cryptocurrency this year is more likely similar on the price status that happens last year. Maybe it will be more higher this year but not so far when we compare last year, it is more likely and nearly the same last year.
So this is what I think we will see next 1-2 years. Slow total crypto marketcap growth lets say 1 trillion in 1-2 years but there will be a shift in the current market dynamics. Alts decoupling from btc, and the real good projects in the space siphoning capital from overvalued projects and dead projects that doesnt bring real world value. Also we will see alot of projects dying in the next few years. So the best thing you can do is invest in projects with solid fundamentals and go away
Saying something is the prediction for what will happen to cryptocurrencies is not ideal because we all know that there is no way for anyone to actually predict the market accurately. It is all just speculation at best and no one should be taking these so called predictions at face value and using it to make decisions for your coins.
It is tough to predict the price of such an unstable thing as crypto currency. Yet, if were to make a suggestion or prediction, I`d say the Bitcoin will go up to the price of 20000$ and ETH will go up to 1000-1500$, I hope I`m mistaking and they will go higher.
