according to my prediction bitcoin will touch 100k $ in early Q3 to the end, year-end closings may be above 200k $ if that is the case then bitcoin market cap will increase 3 times.and as you said if the demand suddenly jumps up then 100k $ is not impossible for bitcoin.
back to the beginning of 2017 when the price was still $ 1000 and at the end of the year it could go up to $ 19 000.
history will repeat itself.
Yes i agree on that bitcoin has a big posibility to rise at the end of the year because it has a good start at the first month of the year 2021.if we are going to look at the bitcoin price this time we can really be amaze on it due to the continuous rising, but we still need to be careful because anytime it will maybe dump, so always invest an amount that you can aford to loss.
Just because we have a wonderful start doesn't mean we will have a good ending. I mean no one can still predict the market after all, it might show a good run right now but it there's could be some changes later on. The market is not always moving forward, of course, there will be some pullback. Thus, my advice is always to prepare for the worst, set a goal where to take profit, and then you could have just bought it again when there's a correction. In that way, you can earn profit in a much safer way. I'd say 100$ is possible since there are still some institutions that are entering and venturing into Bitcoin so it is feasible.

If we will consider the Bitcoin S2F model we will definitely hit the $100k at this year or maybe more , the creator of S2F model predicted a $55K btc price last 2019  and he is right we just hit $55k last week almost no one expected this price but it just happened.

I also believe the $ 100k target can be reached before the end of the year, seeing the very fast Bitcoin price movement in February indicates
the high demand for Bitcoin. This is what is able to drive the price of Bitcoin to continue to rise, especially since there are many institutions
investing in Bitcoin. This has increasingly convinced many people to invest in Bitcoin, therefore the number of rich people investing in Bitcoin
also continues to grow. So making the Bitcoin price even more bullish, and the $ 100k target could come true.

Skybridge capital founder(Anthony Scaramuc) predicts Bitcoin to hit another ATH  of $100k before the end of the year
His words in quote were
"I do think we see $100,000 in this coin before year-end … It’s just a supply and demand situation. You don’t have a lot of supply out there and very heavy demand"
And we know total Bitcoin available is 21 million where 78%(14.5 million) of the Bitcoin supply is not liquid leaving 22%(4.2 million) for buying and selling; Which will lead to the higher demand in Bitcoin and according to the skybridge founder low supply high demand keeps Bitcoin rising

I have to say I was in the positive and likely to see Bitcoin reaches $100k but the question is how long we have to wait for that coz this year isn't that quite not achievable. I hope I was wrong but I don't want to disappoint myself expecting that it comes so fast coz we probably know how the market changes and since the dump is really existing.

But I'm not sure if this will give excitement to the community because it technically adding risk at the moment when the price reaching high. And for me, I don't want to risk either but to wait it dumps.

~snip~

2021 must be the year of Bitcoin: The $ 50,000 mark has been cracked A pattern of the past is setting itself, the price still up to $ 100,000. Even so, with the rally you also gain weight on the largest. Against the background of rising inflation rates, Bitcoin could start a run towards 100,000 dollars due to its limitation to 21 million coins. The coins would become a serious competitor for the fiat money and thus call the central bankers on the scene. Whether the mark will be achieved must at least be doubted. In the media, the crypto currencies have been decorating the headlines again for weeks if you ignore the 4 day drop. The mood is good - and urges caution.

If you think Bitcoin could reach $100,000 primarily because of it's limited supply, then Im afraid you could be wrong.
Bitcoin has become popular each and every year, as well as it's value is increasing every year, not only because it has limited supply, but its because they saw something that could make these investors become rich.
Bitcoin supply is estimated to be totally mined in 2140. So, I guess talking about the limited supply won't be relevant at this current stage.

I do not believe the idea of "it went up so it will continue to do so" because that makes no sense, just because we had an awesome 6 months doesn't mean that next 6 months to 10 months will be the same, there could be a huge crash and we could be 5k by the end of the year as well. We can't know that too, we may not be 5k neither, maybe we will be 500 or maybe we will be 500k who knows what we are going be but the direction doesn't decide that, that's all I am trying to say.

When you are going high super fast, it could suddenly stop and crash, when you are going down super fast it could stop and skyrocket suddenly, so this idea that we have been great so we will be even better doesn't make any sense to me at all.

All I care about is what could be a potential to increase bitcoin and I am waiting from governments to support crypto investments so that big corporations go in, that would change a lot.

$100k price is posible at the end of the year, i think it will reach that point because we are now at the first quarter of the year and btc price rise up o $51k so i think if bitcoin will continue to rise it will maybe touch $100k at the end of the year. But this was only a prediction after all market will always depend on supply and demand.

There's no doubt bitcoin will him $100k but it still depends on the market movement now and thereafter.

The bull run has been making major coins hitting their ATH after ATH, and more so bitcoin, therefore I can't be too bullish for the whole year as correction will certainly happen just like what we witnessed in the past. it's not a secret to us, we should open our eyes and don't get FOMO, after the bull run is the opportunity to accumulate again, hope low bitcoin will dump, that's something we don't know.

Many people right now are believing to the bitcoin that 100k is really possible including me I believe to this because now we are in the 50k dollars per 1 bitcoin and only need is to double the price of the bitcoin and we can reach that, we know it is possible if people become united as one in holding and buying this coin but difference to this happen for sure bitcoin will dump.

Yes, that is possible to happen at the end of the year, but if everything is going smoothly, we can see $100k before the end of the year, and that could be at Q3-Q4.
Before the price can increase, we will see many speculations or predictions about where the price will go, and sometimes we will see another downtrend from that prediction.
But we should not worry about that because that will not always happen, and that is why we need to analyze by ourselves and not just depend on people who made speculations.

It's possible the more people buying and trading and coming in the demand will be greater than the supply, there are many factors why the supply cannot keep up, many investors are kept on investors wallet, and some of the coins are loss, through negligence and circumstances, and of source the coin that can be mine is now lesser.

Following previous patterns there is still a 400% increase to the ATH.
When 100k hits the FOMO will drive it to it’s peak which IMO will be close to or just over 200k
Sounds insane but if you look at the charts it’s very much possible...

This year started with some scary bitcoin price rollercoaster rides. I dont believe bitcoin could reach the $100k price during only 1 year. I think it is going to be cyclically. Like in year 2017 and later, in the year 2021 we have already gained a lot, compared to previous years. Now we are going to go down and only after another halving, by the end of year bitcoin will shoot high again.

We've been almost a year after the halving in 2020 and obviously we have gained so much in price already. And if we are going to the bull run in 2017, we are not even half of it, the price could go up as high as $100k at the end of the year if we are going to follow 2017's pattern.

Bitcoin going down is just part of the ecosystem, as you have said, its cyclical, a lot of bumps, ups and downs along the way. Definitely 6 digits are doable this year, we're even half of it at the current price level.

I believe he is right about the demand and supply of bitcoin affecting its price. This is something every bitcoin users understand. We all understand the effect of supply and demand and how it affects the price of bitcoin.
I, however, do not believe there is anyone who can accurately predict what will happen to the price of bitcoin. You should know that quite a lot of so-called experts have made predictions like this over the years and were totally wrong.
While it is totally possible that bitcoin may hit $100K before the end of the year, one shouldn't bank on just predictions.

I don't think $100k is feasible, it can surpass the $62k and even 70 but $100k... I don't see it happening.

Look at Max Keiser who predicts $220,000

HODL!  Grin
The predictions give me confidence that even though the Bitcoin price doesn't hit it is at least close to it...
Until this year ends, we won't know ath Bitcoin at what price. however, I am sure it will be closer to $ 100k. *a slight correction is great for bouncing back up to hit $ 100k+

For a beginner like me in 2017? Yeah, I think ahead but not that far. I'm a complete noob that time, if I just manage to hold at least half of the bitcoin I earn through trading or gambling, looking back I could have made 1 BTC in 2017. But now that I have learn a lot from that mistakes, I haven't had 1 BTC today but the equivalent of fiat is the same as what I could have back in 2017.

And as I have said in previous threads, better wait for the next halving in 2024 before I will think of selling my stash then.  Smiley

Can't really call yourself a beginner anymore when you've been around for a third of Bitcoin's lifetime, and more than half since it found itself trading on mainstream markets;)

I've found also that time and experience doesn't necessarily translate to people getting better at their Bitcoin expectations. I've seen newbies completely at peace with patient trying and using. I've seen old hands panic and give up (in 2017 no less!).

Good luck stacking those sats!
