Escrow is one of the most reliable third person when it comes making transactions. So it's highly recommended if you used to trade to any unknown person with big amount of money especially here in forum because there's a bunch of fraud and scam people. Even you pay for their services it's worth than losing money.. Because nowadays you cannot trust anyone unless if they're trusted members here in bitcointalk. so always provide escrow in order to avoid losses.

There are so many trusted escrows on this forum that have endured for years and a lot of dealing with escrow with purchases if you have any doubts this is probably one of the favorites for recommendations to the OP.

Hampuz
bL4nkcode
Royse777
etc

There are many options, for me, there is no doubt that if you want to do escrow which is very important, then contact them directly, I think they are all willing.

In addition to this list, Minerjones is the favorite escrow of all time on this forum, Besides that he is very trusted, He can also do a reshipping services on all user that located in US and many more extra feature for a trusted escrow. You can see the proof on his trust score.

I heard about minerjones is really good escrow here in this forum and +feedback given to him proves all about how he handle that job but also will give a good vouch to other user mentioned like Hhampuz since he also have more reputation which we can trust and for sure he will not let the one who trust him since he has a lot of things to lose if he will wrecked a single deal here. Bl4nkcode is also a experience escrow and also I think Royse can also handle this kind of job since both of this guy's got good reputation in this community so it's up for forum users on which of them they gonna choose to handle their deals.

Forum escrow for sure.

A lot of the escrow platforms out there are simply too clunky to use. The dispute resolution process is absolutely atrocious and their decision making is quite arbitrary. I'd rather have the history and track record of some of the forum members on here.

For currency exchange, Localbitcoins is a good option. I've personally used them quite a bit and encountered issues occasionally but they were all resolved reasonably fast.

I don't believe in the escrow providing websites because they are literally new and no records about them from the actual users so I am not going to try with my money to find their legitimacy but in bitcointalk there are lot of trusted members out there with different price rates as well so go for the reputed individuals over the new websites.
Why not? there are a few websites that have been active since this market was just budding, I used to use them a lot before, although by now many of the sites are no longer active, the only one that I can remember now is Bitify. I'm not sure it's still working  Cheesy Sometimes, you should learn to trust a few things around you, instead of being too suspicious and wary of everything.

The reason why escrow is very important is that if you are initiating a deal with none trusted user or newly user the funds has to be a trusted escrow account after which the both parties have sent transaction then he will release the funds or be it goods.

Hi OP. I will not add to whatever else people have suggested here,,, this is a forum full of super trusted Bitcoin persons BUT this may not be something a total outsider will be comfortable with.

I recommend to look at companies which offers professional crypto escrows, which could be something people would trust more (actual company rather than individuals). Coinpayments was one I had personal experience with but you have to check if they still do it as they used to.

Another company in UK is Escaroo which is UK based and they may be more attractive as a trustless smart contract,,, but you have to of course trust Ethereum instead of people:)

I suppose it is for OP's service:

Have you had your crypto assets frozen or your wallet provider refusing to release your funds? I may be able to help.

I’m a paralegal from www.prelegalonline.com and www.prelegalonline.co.uk and operate in the U.K. and US.

Most people don’t realise that even though crypto currency is largely unregulated, it still has tangible value as a digital asset. I’ve helped many clients instruct wallet providers to release their funds in the U.K, EU and US and a lot of times been a success.

If you’re looking to have a formal final demand letter written with a business letterhead and someone who can fight your corner with the appropriate legal knowledge and format, I charge a flat rate of $25 and can accept crypto currency.

This business is my baby and I will do my upmost to achieve justice by recovering what is rightfully yours.

Most escrows here don't deal with anything suspicious hence why you'd have to prove your claims first @OP

3 things I find sus about this:

1. Both websites are newly registered and can't be accessed at the time of writing (prelegalonline.co.uk: 2020-09-26 - prelegalonline.com: 2021-02-19
2. $25 is way too cheap
3. How can a paralegal practice law?

Oh I almost forgot, I can answer part 3 if youre genuinely interested in the answer but please dont forget to quote where I mentioned that I "practice law"  and verse yourself in the definition of reserved activities. I do not take it lightly that you came for my legitimate source of income and have addressed the Moderators accordingly.

The three things you find suspicious about my question that is not even related to my job just demonstrates that you are not socially equipped to belong in a community and you don't even read people's questions you just sabotage their threads.

Your pornhub link is dead by the way. At least my offline content is productive and a genuine source of income.

You don't suppose anything whatsoever and I've flagged your comment. If I choose to maintain my site and hold it off line whilst doing so it's none of your business is it? Nor is it anything to do with this discussion so think before you write.

Secondly I don't care what you think to my price range nor did I mention my business in this thread so what's your deal? Is slander/libel your second name? Do you even have an answer to the question? This is a DISCUSSION not an advertisement.

Thanks everyone who answered my question honestly and helpfully. There was some really useful input that helped me buy safely

Cheers 🍺

It depends on your transaction. What is it about? Is this a P2P transaction? Is the other party here on the forum? I have never used escrow outside of this forum, though.

Anyway, what do you exactly mean by crypto purchases as nerve racking or risky? The use of crypto is safe in that there is a permanent record of it on the blockchain that couldn't be tampered. The other party couldn't deny what's already been confirmed by the network. However, it is risky in a way because there is no way to reverse a confirmed transaction. So the point to be very cautious about is the person, site, or any other entity you are doing transaction with. So before any crypto transaction make sure the other side of the deal is to be trusted.

Making purchases with crypto can be nerve racking and come with associated risks. What's your favourite Escrow to use and why?
If you will use outside forum escrow, it also involves risk since you don't know yet them well.  Picking a trusted escrow is always have a risk because you may be contacted by an impersonator and acted as an escrow but in fact, it isn't.

Why not choose a legitimate trusted exchange to purchase crypto and not worry about looking for an escrow service.
Or if you were afraid of the KYC, choose a P2P exchange, these exchanges are the third party which is acted as an escrow between the buyer and the seller both safe while having a transaction.

It depends on what's the deal between you and the other user. There are many good escrow service providers there but some of them don't accept every deal and some are popular at for example, collectibles, while others are popular at currency exchanges or etc.

My favourites are: minerjones and SFR10.

minerjones is just an amazing person, he helped me a lot of times in past and just really appreciate what he did here for me.

SFR10 is a very trustworthy person, he was also the escrow of QTUM signature campaign, he was holding 7.39 Bitcoin back in 2017.

Well, it's up to you whom to trust, these two are just my favourites and I believe I amn't alone there.

In-What form do you want to use-Escrow-if you make a crypto purchase on-the-exchange-no need to use-Escrow-you can buy directly.

Escrow-used for members who do business with a third-party-Escrow as a handle.

What's your favourite Escrow to use and why?
We have a coveted few member of this forum who provide this service and you should be grateful for that. Being an escrow carries a lot of risks and problems that you cannot comprehend unless you go into their shoes.

hedgy73's list is useful to see what fits you time zone and preferred fee method. That is all you need to compare with. Each of them are outstanding in their own space so you might find someone specific who would become you go-to person for everyday deals in case you are thinking of such.

So if you ask for favorite then you will get varying answers. Hhampuz is the manager of the campaign that I am in and has been doing escrows for years now, so I would go with them. But every other account on that list are also excellent escrows.

If you're going to a p2p deal with someone unknown then that really is, since it's a matter of trust. There are escrows on this forum, though they accept depends on what kind of transaction you're dealing with, either digital or non-digital product purchase, trades (crypto to crypto) and etc.
It is good to use escrow service of a reputable member on this forum but your list needs update I think, I was unable to see Hhampuz among the members on the list. There is another one I know about, click the link I provided below to see the lists of reputable members that provide escrow on this forum.
