The match is the last hope of Arsenal for Manchester City to drop points. It's a reasonable hope, because Tottenham have a good record against Manchester City in last few seasons. Tottenham have the importance to win the match, because they still want to keep their chance to play in Champions League next season. It's certainly a deciding game where the win of Manchester City will closing them to the title.

Both of the teams are under pressure to win, Manchester City have experiences in handling this kind of pressure, while Tottenham couldn't play their best performance when they play a crucial game. Aston Villa have a chance to drop points again as they have to face Liverpool tonight. If Aston Villa win, Tottenham's chance to play in Champions League next season will finally be over.

 

You echoed my mind, Manchester United where just unlucky in terms of their inability to score, if not ordinarily Manchester United forced arsenal backwards with the way they played. No doubt about the fact that Arsenal missed a lot of chance, so did Manchester United. The goal difference was a dangerous one for arsenal because if United where able to score just one, that would have been the end of the season for the gunners in terms of the title race.
This season is a bit competitive compared to last season, but we are almost in similar situation as last season too, where Arsenal had to relinquish powers to Manchester City, and for what is worth, it's looking like history wants to repeat itself.

This match will likely determine many things but it still depends on how the match will end. If Man City wins that match, they will likely emerge as Premier League champions this season because it looks like Man City will also get a win in their last match against West Ham. If the match ends in a draw, then the Premier League champion will most likely be determined by the Goal Difference between Man City and Arsenal. However, if it turns out that Tottenham can make a surprise and win the match, then Arsenal is the one who has a big chance of getting the Premier League trophy.

Tottenham actually still has a small chance of snatching 4th place from Aston Villa but for that, they have to hope that Aston Villa will lose their last 2 matches, while Tottenham must be able to sweep 2 wins. This is like a scenario that is waiting for a miracle to happen but as long as the season hasn't actually ended, surprises could happen.

The Manchester United goalkeeper performed well by saving several good chances created by Martinelli and other Arsenal players.
It is true that goal difference is very important if Arsenal and Manchester City have the same number of points after the Tottenham vs Manchester City match. If in that match Manchester City was held to a draw by Tottenham, perhaps Arsenal would benefit from the number of goals they conceded (89-28) which was relatively less than the number conceded by Manchester City (91-33).

They would have but Manchester United did not give them the privilege to score more than one goal and it was not an easy drive for them. Arsenal missed a lot of opportunities yesterday their attacks were weak and I was surprised those kinds of attacks were coming from Arsenal. For now, Arsenal is still leading with a goal difference of two, It is a strong competition between the two, and we are going to miss football season. Even though last season was not as interesting as this, from the beginning, clubs were already on fire, and when they were in the middle, the whole game changed and it was a rapid flip that happened.

In last night's match between Man United and Arsenal there weren't many goals scored, the only goal was scored by Arsenal early in the first half until the end of the half Man United were not able to equalize, if you say that MU did a good job in my opinion No, he was unable to make it difficult for Arsenal to win and Arsenal themselves scored a goal to bring them victory to continue to pressure Man City at the top of the standings.

I thought MU would be the stumbling block for Arsenal in last night's match but apparently MU still couldn't do much. I have to admit that Arsenal's performance was still quite good against a top club like MU even though they only scored 1 goal. At least they were able to keep their defense strong enough and not give up opportunity for MU to score a goal.

Arsenal can now only hope that Tottenham can hold off Manchester City, at least a draw and that makes Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League title this season very wide open, but if not then there is no longer a big possibility for Arsenal because in the remaining matches Manchester City only Tottenham are a tough opponent.

Arsenal's 1 goal win against Manchester United is enough, I think, because even though Manchester United is one of the top teams in the Premier League, it won't be easy for Arsenal to win with a big score, despite the many opportunities that Arsenal players failed to take advantage of, but Manchester United provided There was fierce resistance in this match, but Arsenal's defense played quite solidly in this match so that the Manchester United players had difficulty creating opportunities.

City's match against tottenham hotspur tomorrow is very critical. Both they will play away and if aston villa lose points against liverpool fc tonight, there will be a possibility for tottenham to get a champions league ticket. So there is a possibility that they will hang on to the match against city and at least get points and keep arsenal in the lead without a match surplus. If city does not lose points tomorrow, the last week at home, the west ham united will never stop this team. So despite being the leader, arsenal's job is still very difficult. The championship path will be shaped according to the results of 3-4 different matches, not just their own matches.

As long as the season is not over of course both teams still have the same chance to win the championship trophy, indeed in this case Manchester City benefits from the remaining matches they have but as you said of course all possibilities can happen later, at this time Arsenal fate of course depends on the draw, winning or losing Manchester City in the remaining two matches,  But despite all that, Arsenal should still be able to win their last game later with a big score, if Manchester City wins the remaining two games, of course Arsenal hopes of winning the Premier League this season have vanished, if Manchester City draws then Arsenal must have a better points difference later, if Manchester City loses,  the champion will automatically belong to Arsenal, in addition to the difference in points, Arsenal also lost in terms of goal difference so it does not hurt for Arsenal to look for a big win in the match against Everton later in anticipation if Arsenal and Manchester City end the season with the same points.

Manchester City match against Westham is certainly a match of hope for Arsenal although it is unlikely that Westham will win but at least maybe a draw will be able to happen, for the match against Tottenham of course Arsenal does not need to expect much, because the rivalry that has occurred between Arsenal and Tottenham so far certainly allows Tottenham not to want to win in the match.

Because of what Manchester City have achieved over the years especially since Pep Guardiola became the club manager, I think it's very understandable and relatable as well when most people say that Manchester City are surely going to win the English Premier League title irrespective of Arsenal's result against Manchester United yesterday at Old Trafford. When we take a close look at Manchester City's two remaining games in the English Premier League, we could see that they can defeat the two clubs they'll face in those two games. Tomorrow evening, Manchester City will travel to the home Tottenham Hotspur to play their second to the last league game of the season and in my opinion, the strongest and most difficult game they'll have to play in their remaining league fixtures. If Manchester City succeeds to beat Tottenham Hotspur in that game, I think they're surely going to be the English Premier League champions once again but failure to do so, Arsenal is most likely to win the EPL title for the first time in 20 years

It may be too quick to assume that it is over for Arsenal this season because the league is still open and can go either side.  A little look at the remaining matches will show that the chances of Man City losing a match is higher than that of Arsenal. Man City will play Tottenham and West Ham and either of them can win Man City or at least hold them to a draw and this will automatically make Arsenal win the league because Arsenal is ahead in goal difference. 

Arsenal have only one match to play which us against Everton and they will easily win the match because Everton is always an easy team for them based on their past meetings. So it is not over for Arsenal yet.

Arsenal could have actually won by a bigger goal difference yesterday. Goal difference in general is really important for the championship indeed. In a situation with same points the final week is going to be really interesting to watch. Currently there is only a difference of three goals between Arsenal and Manchester City in the standings.

Manchester United were really desperate in that game and they are lucky about not conceding more goals. Arsenal wasted tons of opportunities. Havertz said that he would be one of the biggest Tottenham fans tomorrow.    All Arsenal players and fans will be like that for sure.

I have always looked towards that as a means for Arsenal to win the Premier League Competition. But its okay with three poi if they cannot get those goals, one last game against Sean Dyche and Everton lads at home in presence of the fans I'm sure Everton will want to be compact.
Eveton is also a club who deserves them flowers because despite all of thr point deduction and stuff's they're still in a good position band place safe from relegation.
I think, if Sean Dyche is supported with some quality players that suits his style he will do excellent next season.

It's also been a long time, since Arsenal did the double against Manchester United, you don't know how much those gunners valued this win even with a single margin.
They have fought for this, they have earned it, they definitely deserves it

As for the game tonight, Aston Villa will want to defeat Liverpool to seal them place on the top four but will that be possible? Jurgen Klopp has to keep a clean slate as he decides to leave even if he is no longer in the fight for the  Premier League Competition next season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will be supporting Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, but Manchester City are definitely going away from home, they have to be very cautious. I can remember Antonio Conte's side defeating them some seasons back with good numbers. Could this be another, it all depends on how focus theey be for this game.

Well Arsenal were able to get their win against Man United yesterday but it wasn’t convincing enough. Yes in this their tight race with Man city they’re to understand that as 3 points is key so also is getting the huge goal difference margin also key in their race to winning the league. Now they have given City the edge here because if City goes on to defeat Tottenham with a 3-0 scoreline then you can understand how that gives Mam City the good edge as against Arsenal in the chase. Chasing 3 points is very important but also building up goal differences isn’t to be overlooked because they could hurt you on the final day.

 ⁠Man United too must be commended for their performance against Arsenal it was real top notch and one I enjoyed every minute of it and I think this goes to show that this United side shouldn’t be underestimated. They still have a shot for Europa League that’s in the FA Cup final and you can expect it will be a great showdown for them against Man city.

 ⁠For Arsenal fans, I think their disappointment started when they lost to Aston Villa, that game thwarted their chances and now you can say the chance of them winning is just 25% and I think they can have a good shot at it next season but it’s all over this season as City will be crowned champions.

I also miss Arsenal getting a title, because they haven't won the Premier League title for 20 years. And even though Manchester City is 1 game ahead of Arsenal, hopefully Tottenham can beat Manchester City and this match will be the final for Manchester City, if Manchester City wins against Tottenham then they will become champions.
Even though it is unlikely that Totemham can beat Manchester City, anything can still happen.
And Tottenham also still has the chance to get Champions League tickets if they can beat Manchester City and Sheff Utd, because Aston Villa also still have tough matches left, they will host Liverpool and will also visit Crystal Palace.

Yeah,  just like I did mention in some of my previous comments, that one game that Manchester city have which they are yet to play is what gave them an edge over Arsenal, if not for that, like assuming Manchester city and Arsenal both had the same number of games lefts to play, from what is currently the result achieved respectively by both clubs, we could have for sure said that Arsenal are going home with the title this season, and for me, nothing would have been more exciting than this, for I have longed to see Arsenal win the title, for it's been a while, and they have worked really hard for it, beginning from last season.

But then and unfortunately, Manchester city aren't going to give up, except like I would always say, if a miracle happens that they lost or drew one of their remaining games, then that indeed will favor Arsenal and give them a way better chances of coming out as the Victors if this season's Premier league title champions.
But on the other hand, if Arsenal end up losing the title this season, by ending the season in the second place, that also is still a good achievement, and hope they will put more efforts to win it next season.

Three points are important, but they were correct that having a lot of GD is essential caused by we can't really sure if arsenal will lead the competition by having more points. I. If Manchester City wins convincingly against Tottenham Hotspur and i think that having same points may possible to happen for arsenal and city. Arsenal could still lose the title race because City will have a better GD or GF than Arsenal and it has concerned by the gunners fans. The worst-case scenario is that Arsenal lose the title race because they score fewer goals than Manchester City at the end of last matchday.
They are correct that winning the game by scoring a lot is essential in a highly competitive environment like this one. United did their best to prevent Arsenal from winning but Arteta changed his strategy in the second half in order to keep its win from united.

He puts a lot of players in front of the goalkeeper to maintain his team's lead in the scoring against Manchester United and arsenal was always deflected united's attack. If I were an Arsenal fan, I would hope that the team takes any chances such as winning the game or scoring a lot of goals in order to get a save zone when club is having same points to the city. it's not something wrong by being salty with the result.
This is extremely important for Arsenal because it will be instrumental in determining the club's chances of winning the trophy this season.

I can imagine how disappointed Arsenal fans will be if the club fails to win a trophy this season. Arsenal is not a huge club.

Goals difference could be a deciding situation for the title race. It's normal to see fans expecting the best for their team. Manchester United played a good game against Arsenal, but it would still be a surprise if Manchester united was able to get a point in this game. One goal win is still a three points gain, but Arsenal really wasted some chances to have a better goals difference.

This is the last big six team Arsenal have to play against. It's understandable that Arsenal played with more carefulness, because Manchester United was the biggest threat for Arsenal to drop points. It's impressive for Arsenal to keep their fighting spirit in their effort to stay in the title race. They can't let any small chance of City dropping points go uncapitalize.    

Talking about goal difference between Arsenal and Manchester City in their title race, the gunners still have a better goal difference ahead of Manchester City with 3 goals difference so if Manchester City should draw any of their past two league games, there's every possible that Arsenal will finish the season as English Premier League title winners.
The Arsenal fans that were furious because their club failed to score plenty goals against Arsenal simply do not know how difficult it is to play against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Mikel Arteta needed three points to remain in good position that might see his team win the league at the final match day of the season and he definitely got the all important three points so I think it's baseless and needless for Arsenal fans to be blaming the team for failing to win the game with high margin

still a head to head fight between arsenal and manchester city, but the guardiola's team has one more game to play.

Anything can happen but most likely by now the title has been won once again by Pep's team.
We need to understand whether Guardiola will leave at the end of this season or at the end of next season.
