What I thought about Man United in that match was that they were careless in the last minutes. They lowered their rhythm and created several gaps in the defense. And talking about Man United's defense line, we can understand that since the start of the season they have had problems with this. This is nothing new at Man United and Ten hag has not been able to overcome this problem since the start of this season. As for the missed opportunities for Manchester United, this only concerns their poor defensive performance. Man United were extremely lucky to have earned a point against Brantford.
Brantford were a much better team that day, they had 31 shots on goal against United's 11. They were a bit out of luck there though, with 2 shots hitting the cross-bar and one hitting the post. It should've been at least 3-1 win for Brentford.
That game exposed all types of United's weaknesses, especially lack of attacking power. I think that both, players and fans accepted that this season is a wasted one for United. I don't expect United's owners to give Ten Hag another chance next season. He's almost certainly on his way out unless a miracle happens and he manages to win all the remaining games.

I think this is a problem that Man United must address immediately. In the previous match when Man United played against Brentford, they also make the same mistakes. You're right on your observations on the big three but I'm more interested in Man City's game. It's an early kick off to start with and clubs have often found it hard to be their best in early kick offs. Man City are clear faves to win but then again I won't put it past Palace to want to prepare a surprise package for Pep and his men. The last time these two met, they drew 2-2 all thanks to a late penalty from Micheal Oliseh at the Etihad and the last time the Eagles won the Citizens was in the 2020/21 campaign. 2-0 the game ended in favor of Crystal Palace.
 One thing I'd advise them if they hope to get a shot at City is that they should try not to be too defensive; which they aren't good at to start with, but rather come out, match City toe for toe as that has proven to confuse and disorganize things for Pep's men.

For Man United, the defeat against Chelsea was very painful, especially since they were already ahead but Chelsea managed to recover in extra time, of course this was Erik Tan Hag's fault because he couldn't maintain his lead and of course this defeat made Man United even further away from the top four positions. I ain't able to predict which team that will be going to the UCL but it seems villa may be convince me to pick it since it will have easy fixtures compared with totenham which is gonna face so many strong teams.
Many teams are competing one to the each other in order to ensure they have greater chance to achieve their target. Things are getting even harder since any clubs are trying their best at the end of season. Totenham is strong but this club has too many weakness that sometimes forced totenham to miss full points.
Im not really sure if totenham will able to win against forest easily. The fact that as long as forest will able to use low block properly against totenham and the chance to beat it is just getting even bigger than before. Forest can use the high line defensive used by totenham as a way to attack it.
It must be going through low block strategy to help forest in winning the game. I prefer villa to qualify for UCL rather than totenham caused by we have seen that totenham always played in UCL but it was always failed during the group stage or quarter final.

Now Tottenham is only two points away from Aston Villa, and Tottenham also has an advantage because Totteham has only played 30 matches while Aston Villa has only played 31 matches.
