Isn't it the opposite? In  my understanding that majortity of people believe that the city will come up with another the trophy for this season. Manchester City is unlikely to lift the EPL trophy this season caused by it's too bad to be true,a nd it's caused by the club has won it three times in a row, so why should we doubt them this season? all of evidences suggest that if manchester city has very strong mentality when it must be fighting for the pretigious trophy like EPL. Things are even more interesting as the competition becomes more fierce than before but im sure city can sort it all becaue we know that city has a winning mentality. I think you're completely wrong here. It's rare to find people who believe the city will not win the trophy this season, like you. It is not the first time Manchester City has been able to emerge from a difficult situation like this and city will repeat it again soon. it's only matter of time until manchester city will able to add more trophies. 

Do you even remember what happened in the city last season? They are still performing exceptionally well this season and it keeps continue, the strong evidence is Manchester City's consistentcy on its performance helped the club owning EPL for a few seasons. Arsenal and Liverpool are currently ahead of City, but City has the potential to earn all of its points until end of season and this only chance to win EPL for all of clubs participate in the title race. 
Manchester City is performing better this season, and I hope they win again. It will help the club dominate the EPL. Things may be going even harder for manchester city but i do believe it's all can be solved easily.

Most people initially thought that Manchester City would win the title again this season. But with the three teams currently in the Premier League, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, it has become very difficult to predict which team will emerge as the champion. However, Liverpool have suffered a bit of a performance disruption, their style of play is not that strong at the moment and they are now on the same level as they were at the beginning of the points table. However, it can be believed that either Arsenal or Liverpool are more likely to win the title this season as Manchester City are not in such a good form right now. However, if Manchester City performs well in the next matches and Liverpool and Arsenal do not play well, then Manchester City will definitely go to the top of the points table again. Likewise, I think three teams are going two-a-day in the title race this season and it's still unclear which team is more likely to win the title.

The situation in the Premier League this season is very tense and full of drama in shifting rankings, especially in 3rd place in the standings. I also can't predict which club will win the Premier League this season. The reason is that the three clubs which are currently in the top 3 of the Premier League standings have their respective advantages and disadvantages. The point is that competition in the Premier League will definitely continue to be tight.

For the club that won the Premier League last season (Manchester City), this season will not necessarily be able to repeat its record like last season. The reason is, this season Manchester City often had difficulty facing strong clubs like Liverpool (draw). Even in the match against Chelsea, Manchester City also had a little difficulty and the result ended in a draw. So this season it seems that Manchester City's performance has not decreased, but other clubs have actually experienced a very significant increase in performance. That's why Manchester City is having difficulty occupying the top position this season. And currently Manchester City is still in 3rd place in the Premier League.

So the point is, hopefully the competition for the top position in the Premier League will continue in a sporting and safe manner. Apart from that, I also hope that players from the three clubs (Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool) will not suffer injuries until this season ends. So we can see a truly exciting competition between the three clubs until the end of the season.

Even though chelsea won the game but there are some problems that shoud be noticed by pochettino.

1. The defensive line was so weak when chalobach was playing in the game. I think that this guy shall not get a position as starting line up
2. Sterline is so greedy AF, he can pass the ball to his teammate to add another score but this guy is totally BS. He was dribbling it alone then yeah no goal happened.
3. Some defenders look so lazy in preventing newcastle to get free space to shoots.

It's good result for chelsea by achieving three points but it's also a bad result at the same time consider chelsea may able to win the game with greater score than three goals. I would rather than put mudryk as starting line up instead of sterling which is old and he was also so stingy.
There are some serious problems that need to be solved as soon as possible.

Everything is possible in football. People failed to see this record of Manchester City against the big clubs in the Premier League this season. People just believe Manchester City will end up lifting the Premier League title because they have won it in past seasons. Either Arsenal wins the Premier League trophy or Liverpool wins it this season.

Luckily, Liverpool ended the match with a draw and did not experience defeat, but what is unfortunate is that Liverpool could not take advantage of the match against Manchester City to get winning points, because if Liverpool won then they would immediately move up to first position. The battle for first position on the standings between Liverpool and Arsenal is indeed very thrilling. Arsenal might find it difficult to beat Manchester City because Manchester City's strength is superior with Erling Haaland's terrible attacking players.

Despite leading the standings, the candidate to win the premiere league this season is not Arsenal. the strongest candidate to win the premiere league this season is still Liverpool or Manchester City. if Arsenal win it's just a surprise. and in another match Chelsea won 3-2 over Newcastle.

The problem with Chelsea is the lack of consistency in their play if not they are not a bad team if you watch them closely. I like the way Chelsea played and i can see some improvements in some players which is a good thing for them, also they are so lucky to have signed Palmer he is a good player and will be a special one for them in future if he doesn’t end up with injuries like Reece James. I am happy as a Chelsea fan for Chelsea winning the game now i just hope they can be consistent with their performance all through the rest of the season and hope to see them in the Europa league spot.

Jackson have always performed good in matches the only problem with him is his poor finishing, i think that’s what he needs to work on the most as a striker. No one will care about the performance of a striker if he doesn’t score goals. Glad he is on the scoresheet today.

The game was surely interesting and quite active as both teams struggled to have the win. Chelsea had a good start in the game as they started and led with an early goal.
Newcastle did try to equalize but Chelsea managed to hold on and didn’t relent on their defense till the final whistle. Newcastle had likely hoped to end the game with a draw as they strived to score another goal during the final moments of the game. It was a good and well deserved win for Chelsea.

I really had no expectations from Chelsea to win the game but the outcome certainly surprised me.

Chelsea's next match would have been Arsenal, but it was postponed because of Arsenal's Champions League match against Porto. Chelsea would now face Burnley next because of that. I just believe Chelsea would win and move to 9th position in the Premier League.
Who knows if they can make it to the Europa Cup competition next season? Hands crossed because there are about 10 game meetings that will decide on that, if possible

These days, no one put high expectations on Chelsea matches. So, if they eventually play well the news will likely not be heard, but of they play their usual rubbish, everyone will hear about it. Chelsea actually put more efforts in the first half than they did in the second half.

Even as Chelsea managed to have a win, their next match is not guaranteed, no matter who they are playing. This level of inconsistency is what will make Chelsea not to contest in the top 10 even in the coming season.

Chelsea is in the middle of nowhere in the Premier League. There is neither back nor forth for them. Now will they sack him at the end of the season or are they willing to stick to a coach who has a squad that is worth more than a billion and yet is not even able to qualify for the Conference League? I know that Pochettino will mention old problems that he had to first solve before they could achieve new heights, but I don't buy that argument. He can get almost every player he wants, they have spent almost half a billion again for the season 23/24 and yet they suck.

The only light at the end of the tunnel could be the average age of their team. They spent around 300 million for four players with an average age of 22. The point could be to develop them, but if they cost 300 million, it begs the question why they would need so much time to get going?

Great win for Pochetinno side as Newcastle crumble again, with Jackson getting on the scoresheets and pochetinno getting a rare win tonight. Meanwhile Chelsea is still 11. Haha

Chelsea signing Cole Palmer from Manchester City have remained one of the best signings under Todd Boehly this season and the new player had positive impact on the club's performance in matches and he's always there to provide aides to the best of his ability. Cole Palmer is my favorite and he will remained because there's absolutely no player weighing up the balance. Cole Palmer is the most important player for the club currently. He pinned his stellar performance against the Magpies and recorded an assists and a goal to help his side push for the win.

I knew Chelsea was going to win the match  after the first half of the match ended, their performance was not bad in the first half of the match, even as pressure was on them towards the ending of the first half of the match which leads to goal, I was still having the feeling that Chelsea will win the match, and am happy today Chelsea didn’t disappoint me. Even as I didn’t place bet on the match, am just always happy whenever I see Chelsea win their matches. palmer played well in todays match, and Jackson that have been performing poorly in most Chelsea matches played well today also.

Cole Palmer — Chelsea's best signing for the 2023/2024 season. Without any doubt. His goal and assist today has played a huge role in helping win today and this also increased Chelsea's unbeaten run to 4 (in the EPL). The game was closely contested even though Newcastle was lackluster most times in the game. I don't get why teams often play deep when the game is neutral and no one leading but then get sprung into action after they concede a goal?  Newcastle came out to play after Chelsea got their second goal and it lead to a counter attack that Chelsea took advantage of through Mudryk.

Sometimes, the best defense is more offense.

There's no room for defeats today, not for an elite team like Chelsea. If Chelsea failed to win today, I would have be really upset because it's a winning game for them. Chelsea always put themselves on pressure for winning matches, taking good sights towards games they're leasing 3-1 and end up fighting to disrupted the process of draw tie. Fulltime and its 3-2 with Chelsea taking the home spiking win against Newcastle United. Eddie Howe show appreciation for his players and the supporters that flew to Stamford Bridge to watch them.

I'm surprised Chelsea are able to win this game as I thought Newcastle has the strength to be able to defeat them or draw them in this encounter.It is a result I never expected because looking at how poor Chelsea's form is,I would even think they can win this match,all I thought was a draw,or Chelsea are to loose.But this is football,where anything can happen,so winning Newcastle is one that will really give them an added motivation going into more games in the EPL.Although,one thing I've seen about this coach is that he knows how to tackle big teams,but winning the smaller teams are his problems,and that's what will make him remain behind.

They need to do more even after winning their match against Newcastle tonight. The game ended in favour of Chelsea with a 3-2 win to get them three points this night. Chelsea played a very good football this night and they were lucky to have won the match even though Newcastle also did well but were just unlucky to convert most of their goals on target to goals.

Newcastle United will be in the tenth position while Chelsea will be on eleventh position until the play their outstanding match which the result their will determine the position they will be on the table. I wasn’t expecting Chelsea to win tonight, I was expecting a draw because of Chelsea’s inconsistent form but they proved me wrong and even took the lead at an early stage into the game.

Good game and I hope they can do better and continue playing in this form to get them qualified for the Europa League next season as champions league seems impossible for them to compete for now again.
