Crystal Palace has been a very confusing team in the EPL and whenever they get to play against Arsenal is like the Gunners will be looking like a team who are scared of playing like they used to. To me I can't blame the AFCON as the cause of Crystal Palace not doing well, the only thing that would have changed if all the Crystal Palace players were involved in that game would be the score line, because they would have made Arsenal to get 2 or 3 goals and they would have scored too. Crystal Palace has never been doing well since the beginning of this season and you think they're going to lose their next game.

No one having any doubt about Arsenal and its quality but surely their consistency is the biggest issues in this season as they fail to perform like they have done in last season currently they are sharing third spot with Aston Villa due to goals difference, but they need to act quickly with their usual aggressive approach because if they will do surely things can go favourable for them, and they will be able to give challenge both top teams which are having small difference of points.

Mikel Arteta is having good material to control things, but sometimes his experiments bring poor results for them which are surely not idea at this stage of the season now we are in 21st round, and we have 17 matches left which are important for keeping top spot with five teams are on same level and quality for the top spots, so this could be not easy time for them to do more experiments.

Crystal Palace feels helpless in their today match against Arsenal because most of their key players are playing in the AFCON tournament. I already know that it will be a loss match for Crystal Palace because of that.
Crystal Palace showed no pressure on the Arsenal team, so for them to lose and receive up to 5 goals in their goalpost was expected because they showed a poor performance. It was only Eze who performed better, he can't be the only one to score against Arsenal without having other of his team players work in hands with him to score.
Crystal Palace on and off in their matches is what their coach needs to work on to avoid being sacked the second time. Crystal Palace fans are complaining bitterly because of the team's performance

For someone who didn't watch the game, the result proves that Crystal Palace were totally outclassed in their English Premier League game at Arsenal this after which is undoubtedly true but I think there were moments in the game that the away team showed some brilliance in the game as well. Eberechi Eze in some was Crystal Palace biggest threat in the game but Arsenal defenders never allowed him to score from those brilliant runs today.

Should any team win in the game that'll be later played today between Brentford and Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace are gonna move down from their current position in the league standings of 14th to 15th position. However, I'm confident they're not gonna be relegated this season.

Michael Oliseh is African origin but play for the French national team, he isn't at the ongoing AFCON. Micheal Oliseh is currently injured and will be out till February

They should hold up for a short while; J. Ayew will likely join them soon as Ghana is on the verge of being knocked out of the group stage.

AFCON or not they haven't won against Arsenal for two good seasons now and nothing was going to change it now. I'm sure no one expected them to win .

A completely bad day for Crystal Palace, they did not create any sufficient threat or attempts to score a goal and Arsenal had all the chances in the game, controlled the midfield and scored five goals. It will be a big motivation for Arsenal to reignite their title chase again. For Crystal Palace Manager, his job is on the line, because Crystal Palance did not play well and have been having a series of bad results in the premier league. The result takes Arsenal to third on the table of the premier league. There is a lot of focus on Brentford and Nottingham Forest now, if any of them wins the game, they will push Crystal Palace down the more on the table.

Arsenal was pretty amazing in this game with 6 shots on target with 5 goals, amazing indeed, this is a proof that Arsenal main issue is not about getting a striker but to be consistent which is the reason I will always say they are not among the title contenders this season, with a squad like Arsenal should be doing just fine but the hard truth is that they have not been able to keep such form for long but now that Liverpool are now facing injury crisis and Man City becoming better let's see if they can do any better competing with these team now but I doubt

You got the clear analysis of what happened between Arsenal Football club and Crystal Palace. On a normal day, Crystal Palace is one of those mediocre clubs that gives tough time to top flight clause especially when the three points is so important for the opposition club. But in today's meeting with Arsenal, I did not expect much from Crystal Palace because majority of their star players are from the African continent and they have gone for their African cup of nations. If Crystal Palace is to play more few games before this boys are back from the African cup of Nations, it will bring an undesirable results for Crystal Palace.
If you watch the match keenly, you will understand that there was no much effort from the Crystal Palace side in the 18 yard of their opposition. The only major force that was active which was later overwhelmed by Arsenal is Eze, that was operating from the midfield. Assuming there was another strong force in the 18 box of Arsenal, the result wouldn't have been as woeful as it is.
Now that Arsenal has remembered how to win, they could maintain this streak for at least three more matches.

Of a Truth this arsenal team is really good when they all are on the top of their game, but the major issue I have with this arsenal team is consistency, just look at how they just brush crystal palace aside convincingly, but for them to maintain this title push is very difficult due to their lack of consistency.
If they can be consistent enough during the cause of this season, then I see them going all the way.

I watched the last three previous matches of Arsenal of which they lost giving away 9 points away which have been had to recover from that tremendous lost. Quite unfortunate that today i was suppose to watch the victory of Arsenal i missed for weeks now i was busy sleeping. However i was happy to hear the outcome of the patch which has still kept us in third place in the EPL table.

Also, good to see everyone is back to the team. Now Arteta can dramatically use his substitute players to change some pattern of playing when it becomes tough inside the field. I expect to see more of these sweet performance in the next coming matches and when the UCL should start we should be unstoppable.

Though I commend Arsenal for their awesome display against Crystal palace today by winning them by 5:0 they really did well but notwithstanding their performance today, I hope they continue in this spirit not after winning palace by this huge goals they will now go and lose to a minor club as that has been the challenges Arsenal have been facing for sometime now. I believe if they remain determined to bounce back to their initial form then they can still be title contenders but they need to be more consistent in winning matches and not lose any game at this point only then can their title hope be restored.

The competition is becoming more tensed now as the top four clubs are not giving each other any chance at all so this time is the most competitive period of the league as any draw back may cost any of the club the ability to be in the top four of the league table

Arsenal now is fire. Their last two goals in extra time were fantastic.  Arsenal are currently in the third position of the points table but their next match is before man city if they win that match they will move to the second position.  Their next match is much easier so hopefully they can do it.  It was pretty much certain that they would win the match today but we could not predict that they would win by such a big margin. Arsenal played really well today

It’s just the kind of start Arteta and the rest of Arsenal fans around the world would have hoped for and it was delivered. I don’t know those that were expecting so much of Crystal Palace but the team happens to be lacking in a lot of quality due to the on going AFCON. Talking about the likes of Oliseh, J. Ayew and they aren’t having Doucoure, how would you expect them to make much contest with an Arsenal squad that isn’t much changed. Crystal Palace had a good start but, it wasn’t obvious that Arteta was just going to seat out and endure them for like 20minutes before bringing his game plan. Unfortunately for Crystal Palace, Arsenal didn’t need to wait that long. Gabriel had his goal and then, he was just on fire with the set pieces.

Winning the first game of the year after dropping from first to third place with more games played isn't something to brag about just yet, especially against a poor Crystal Palace side that hasn't won Arsenal since Patrick Vieira first season in charge, and since he left, it's been a playing ground for Arsenal.

The league is currently too open to discussing title challenges, and we are approaching the point where losing a point could mean a lot, but we are not there yet. A lot might change for a few clubs that have some of their best players at the AFCON and Asian Cup if they stay longer than expected.

A pretty good win but actually in this case I think this is not a guarantee of a good start even though in this match they are very good in terms of performance but that does not mean they are back on track just because of 1 win in this match but this is a very good step for Arsenal.

It's quite ironic that we have been discussing the striker problem and what a pressing concern it is and now they finally do what they are supposed to do against inferior opponents if they still want to keep their dream of the Premier League trophy alive. A staggering 5-0 win against Crystal Palace and they had an impressive efficiency today. Six shots on target and five goals, that's an 83% conversion rate of shots on target into goals! Now they could ask us critics whether we still have any questions.

But for how long will they be able to maintain that momentum? Is it one of these exceptions and in the next game against Nottingham Forest away from home they will have the same issues again? I think this game should build some momentum for them but we know Arsenal too good now and I think it could be both against Nottingham, a catastrophic game with low or no efficiency or maybe another staggering win.

For next match Brentford vs Nottingham Forest and these teams currently still fight to avoiding relegation zone especially for Brentford that compared to last season Brentford performance was very poor this season and they have already to lost 10 times and one of their biggest weaknesses from Brentford is their front lines because from 19 matches Brentford only able to scores 19 goals which this is poor records and losing Ivan Toney seems greatly affected to their goal productivities because from Brentford current front players none of them who can performing well just like Toney

Brentford actually has Bryan Mbeumo and if this player didn't got long term injured probably he can be played as Ivan Toney replacement but until today Mbeumo still struggling to recover from his injured and i think Brentford will gets hard match today because their opponent Nottingham Forest recently has been showing fantastic performance because in Premier League Nottingham Forest has just beat Newcastle and Manchester United however Brentford has odds @1.76 it's clearly they are the favourite but i don't think Nottingham Forest can be underestimate because just like i said above this team is in the good shape after beating 2 big teams and After 8 month ban Ivan Toney probably will be playing again today so if he really played let see whether he can give positive impact for Brentford or not

For me I think Arsenal misused their chances of exerting a firm grip at the league table earlier in the season when Manchester City were struggling to get good results. Now that both Manchester City and Liverpool are playing good games now and Tottenham coming with great speed it will be difficult for Arsenal to get to the top of the table again.

It was facing palace, and this result is still a common thing. It does not mean arsenal has been fully recovering from the bad performance. There will be another difficult game to come soon. EZ win for bettors of arsenal.
Arsenal was performing so damn well in this match and it was making the situation even conditional for all the players in the game. Crystal palace has been making so many mistakes against arsenal and it was costing the club to be conceded a lot of goals and lost three points. They were playing like this caused by it was only facing palace and can you expect arsenal to play like this when it was facing city or liverpool with their full team?

That is why arsenal needs more matches to prove it has been coming back again to the right track. Manchester city will win the upcoming game and im not doubting it. De bruyne will be playing and city will be getting another three points.
The competitions for the title race becomes even stricter, the only bad news if liverpool will be missing soon. All the goals were coming from players with gabriel on their names.
It was a bad day for palace caused by the club must be losing three points along with conceded many goals against arsenal. This is not a good day for hodgson.

Arsenal's 2 goals at the end of the match closed the victory to 5-0. Martinelli's two goals were so similar in style and at the same angle that it made Roy Hodgson bite his lip.
In the last two seasons, Crystal Palace has changed a lot when facing Arsenal. They are too weak against Arsenal.
Crystal Palace's greatness was only able to draw against Arsenal. In this match, we could see how helpless Crystal Palace was against Arsenal.


Consistent good performance until the end of the season could put Arsenal in a good position to win the title. I think that rarely happens with Arsenal so Manchester City and Liverpool will be the two teams that will fight until the end.
