According to some news report the gravity of Salah injury is yet to be confirmed and ascertain by Liverpool until after a Scan with MRI thereafter an announcement would be made to know the period he would be on sideline  for now I don't think Salah would play the next match for his country, meanwhile Salah absence in Liverpool starting eleven would have a great impact on the side, he provides assists as well as score goals for Liverpool the likes of Nunez, Gakpo and Luiz Diaz are not profilic and not a clinical finisher like Salah who created chances out of nothing to help Liverpool win matches let wait and see how the team would cope without him.
The news spreads so fast and I don't the injury is more serious than we anticipated it to be. Mohammed Salah have been a key man in his club and country. Unfortunately he sustained a crucial injury, which will lead him to missed quite important matches, I don't know how Egypt will scope without their main player in the AFCON. This is just the beginning and there are more essential games to be play. Mohammed Salah picked up an injury in yesterday’s match against Ghana in the AFCON. This is certainly the scenario Jurgen Klopp was preventing from happening because Salah is his key man in the frontline and there's quite alot he would achieved if he's stable and available for matches.

Liverpool must learn how to play without Salah because they failed to realise that it would eventually hurt them. I even heard that Salah suffered an injury during Egypt's match against Ghana; if this is true, then both the Liverpool team and Egypt must learn how to play without Salah on the pitch or they will keep losing games. On Sunday, Liverpool plays Bournemouth, and although Salah will not be playing, If Liverpool still has players who can contribute to the team's success and win games before Salah returns from injury, so I believe they can overcome Bournemouth.

I think Liverpool can maintain their current standing in the league table, even though I know that Manchester City is in good shape now that DE Bruyne has returned, and if Haaland returns, their performance will be even better than it was before because DE Bruyne always provides Haaland with excellent passing that helps them win a game. However, Liverpool is still ahead of Manchester City by two points, and Liverpool will not want to let them lose and give Manchester City the top spot.

I think you are right, you'll know a strong team by their ability to perform well during the absence of their key players and it's proven this season that Manchester City is a really strong team in Europe, despite the fact that Debruyne's absence worried them in some matches, but it didn't take too long before they recovered and started adapting without KDB and currently KDB is back and their top 9 Haaland is absent but their still doing pretty good with the rest of the squad they've got.

That's something Liverpool should emulate, there's no doubt that Mo Salah plays an important role in the team, however they still got other qualify players that could stand in form him till he returns from country duties, so why depend on one player when they still got other quality players in their squad. Bournemouth is not a team Liverpool should be scared of, they should underestimate them however they capable of getting 3 points from them with our without Salah.

It's really a sad news for Liverpool to take but they are left with almost no choice because that's the current situation of their key player and the only solution is to wait for him and hope he gets well soon and back on the pitch with them to get the team back in their form for the rest of the season.

Klop and other team players are sure not happy about the new development of the fact that Salah is suffering this injury gotten from AFCON and is very likely it will take a long while before recovery for him to be able to get back to Liverpool, let's see if klop has got a good replacement pending the return of Salah or better still he could try rotational tactics to seeing if it could keep the team going, their Europa and premier league dream will to an extent be threatened by this injury because the presence of Salah has got so much impact in helping them getting the various league titles.

Arsenal's chances against Crystal Palace are worrying me. Indeed, losing two consecutive London derbies must have affected their confidence. Arsenal has struggled to win at the Emirates versus Palace. Palace is still dangerous even though Zaha has moved to Galatasaray. I think Arsenal's chances of winning the league are limited. It takes a miracle to beat Palace and return to the top two. A tough path ahead makes me pessimistic.
There is no need to be pessimistic like that because Arsenal also does not want to embarrass themselves in front of their supporters against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium. And if Arsenal can win at home against Crystal Palace, I don't think Arsenal will immediately move up to second place in the Premier League standings because they are hampered by the large number of goals that Manchester City currently has. But for third place, I think it will be more certain for Arsenal if Arsenal is able to win that match.

After all, of course Arsenal have good head to head results also against Crystal Palace and therefore, then even though at this moment Arsenal got a losing streak but still does not guarantee Arsenal will be defeated easily by Crystal Palace in this match. Because ya, at least Crystal Palace also does not have a good trend in this moment and also, Crystal Palace does not have a stable performance and therefore, it will still be difficult for Crystal Palace to be able to beat Arsenal. So yes, the point is that I personally remain fully confident that Arsenal have a good chance of winning, because Arsenal have a target to maintain their position in the top four, of course.

Manchester City have De Bruyne back and soon Haaland will recover as well. Liverpool really need Salah as soon as possible from now on as things will get much more heated about the league title competition.  Sad  Klopp must be hoping Egypt not to make it to the finale of AFCON. He stated on an interview that he wanted Salah back quickly as well.  Smiley

If Egypt reach the finale of the tournament then Salah will miss two big games which are going to be against Chelsea and Arsenal. These are both Premier League games so it would be a huge problem for Liverpool. In this case Manchester City can benefit from their weakness.

Arsenal team is a bit off form right now. But in this match their opponent Crystal Palace is a strong team. Crystal Palace's performance in the Premier League this season has been very poor. The Crystal Palace team is now in the 14th place in the points table with 21 points in 20 matches.

Arsenal's past record against Crystal Palace is very good. Arsenal team has been able to defeat Crystal Palace team in the last 3 matches. Also, Arsenal are still dreaming of winning the title. So every match is very important for them now. Arsenal and Manchester City will be level on points if they win this match. And Arsenal will not want to disappoint their fans at home. Arsenal players will fight hard to win this match.

It's really bad if Salah's injury takes a long time to recover, it will affect Liverpool performance so bad, this will make Manchester City high likely to win the Premier League. Although Liverpool can won in their recent match, but without Salah they're not really strong.

Manchester City is only need De Bruyne to perform good, Haaland can be replaced with other striker.
Its reason why Liverpool manager dislike with AFCON play on middle competition not at the end, with potential Mohamad Salah have long term injury will make Liverpool on difficult position for winning Premier League this season.
I don't sure Liverpool have consistency winning games without Salah and have many matches left not only in Premier League but also Liverpool want to win UEFA Europe League trophy.
Jurgen Klopp have confirmed to media he doesn't know well about Salah injury and how many weeks need to recovery, actually is not happy information for him with Liverpool in the winning trend and potential for winning domestic league this season but if Salah have absent until the end this season will difficult opportunity for Liverpool to be the domestic league winner.
Almost all of coaches were hating the international competition like that. Salah has always become the main player owned by liverpool to win the game or even make comeback. Missing him for a few weeks will be a disaster for liverpool caused by i can't really trust jota to fill salah's position in EPL. The match in EPL will become even tougher than before. This makes me think that if missing salah will become an opportunity for manchester city to get the trophy again. This is another disaster for liverpool to miss him soon.
I can't even see that from jurgon klopp's statement if he was feeling very disappointed with this news. It's caused by the absence of salah will be costing the club a lot. I don't like international competition too caused by it was often making the players injured.
Salah is going to miss so many games and liverpool will have also another fixture in the europa league.

Klopp was of course annoyed by what his player experienced after defending their country at AFCON. No coach wants his main player to get injured while defending his country in any competition, that is also how Jurgen Klopp feels about Salah. Hamstring injuries can mean players have to be sidelined for a long time to recover, so it's clear Klopp was never happy about that.

Salah has the potential to be absent for a long time with Liverpool and that will clearly be detrimental to Liverpool in their efforts to win the title. Of course this will really benefit Manchester City and several other competitors such as Aston Villa and Arsenal, that's because I'm also not sure Liverpool can win matches consistently without Salah.

Salah's predicted injury is a hamstring injury. I think it won't be too serious. In the short term, the Egyptian team will be directly affected if Salah is absent. As for Liverpool, their schedule this January is not too heavy, they only have to play one match in the Premier League against Bournemouth.
That's why Liverpool can completely give Salah the right to rest in the next few weeks if he is unfortunately injured. The Premier League championship race still has a long way to go. This is just a temporary shortfall for Liverpool. Mancity should not be too hasty to rejoice and lose focus.
The news about the gravity of the hamstring injury might be out today after a proper medical checkup. Both Egypt and Liverpool will be hoping that that injury is not that serious. His absence will have some negative impact on the Pharaohs as we saw the Ghanaian fans cheering when they saw that he was injured. Everyone knows that Salah is a threat to any defense. Liverpool will want him back as soon as possible to get the best medical treatment because they need the striker to fight for all the competitions they intend to win this season.
Liverpool is the team most worried about this news because Salah is one of their mainstay players which of course will have quite an impact on the Liverpool team's performance if Salah is absent due to injury.
The injury suffered by Salah has not been confirmed whether it is dangerous, it will take a long time or not, but what is clear is that the Egyptian team is also quite disadvantaged by this, especially in this match, Egypt drew 2-2 in Group B of the African Cup of Nations and this is the second time they have achieved a draw.
Mohammed Salah's injury isn't expected to last longer than one more week according to reports as he's very likely to play in his country's last group game in the African Cup Of Nations. Liverpool this weekend will play their against will play against Bournemouth in the English Premier League and will need a win in that game to further cement their place at the top of the league table and they'll be doing that without Mohammed Salah.

Many people are of the opinion that since Salah won't feature for Liverpool in that game, they're very likely to lose it and that I think is a big lie because Liverpool is full of top quality footballers who can easily win games for the club in Salah's absence. That game will be played at Anfield and expect nothing but a Liverpool win.

If Man City are found guilty of the FFP charges, They'd be relegated from the Premier league. That's a big iff though, since it's Man City, they will lawyer up and just throw more money at the problem.

Of course it is true, Manchester City will receive severe punishment if they are proven to have violated the rules. However, to this day, they have not been found guilty even though there are more than a hundred accusations that have been filed. Other rivals including Liverpool and Arsenal would certainly love for Manchester City to get punished, but so far there have been too many rumors to be believed.

I hope Manchester City is truly able to defend itself against all these accusations and win the trial. This is what all their fans hope for, especially because this season Manchester City has a big chance of defending its title for the fourth time in a row.
It is clear that Liverpool and Arsenal will greatly benefit if Manchester City is proven to have violated the rules and is subject to sanctions, especially if the punishment could result in them being relegated this season, this will clearly thwart their hard work in the title race this season, which is actually easy for them to get again, this should be possible Manchester City is anticipating not committing any violations that will cause major losses to their club, let alone failing in the title race.

I'm sure they won't get any punishment because it seems they can't be proven guilty either, so I hope Manchester City will still have to be alert and always take care so as not to violate anything that could cause problems for the club like Everton who was proven guilty before getting points deducted even though they are on appeal in their previous matter. However, if points are deducted again and they are proven guilty of violating FFP regulations, it is certain that Everton will be relegated this season if they are unable to recover.

But it seems with high confidence that I think Manchester city will not be proven guilty and get punished, I am also still waiting for news about this matter  Grin

if Arsenal is not in good form, I'm afraid Crystal Palace can match their game. like when Crystal Palace held Brighton and Man City to a draw.
Crystal Palace's current performance is almost the same as Arsenal. they are not consistent in every match. even today they also lost to Everton.
Regarding the next match, of course, Arsenal will be the favorite to win. Arteta's squad is certainly stronger even though they have faced several problems in several matches.
don't expect much from Crystal Palace, but hopefully, the match will be interesting.

I can't say Palace are the same with Arsenal in terms of performance, you should use their position on the log to judge that. Arsenal major problem is to convert chances they have got but talking about the Crystal Palace side is just something we really can't explain.
Palace don't have any target, win today lose tomorrow draw and lose till they wake up to get a win, the Palace side can't be anything close to the Gunners. They lost to Everton who have been in a very bad shape and they can still lose to Arsenal only if the Gunners play more of the attacking football than staying back and defend which they know they're not good at it.
But I feel is going to be an easy win against Palace this time around, I just hope Arsenal do get a better striker before the transfer market closes.
Arsenal's quality of play is indeed better than Crystal Palace. That is a fact. but what I equate here is the performance condition of the two teams in the last few matches. the situation in both teams is experiencing problems with declining performance. This match could be a good moment for Arsenal to recover. Arsenal needs to win if they don't want to be overthrown by Tottenham. we'll see what the results will be. this might not be easy for Arsenal.

Those names mentioned for Manchester City have a great combination from last season, they should have done crazy numbers yet again this season but Injury and lack of consistency have affected them both. Pep Guardiola would be so pleased to have them both back around for the rest of the season ahead.

I was wondering if Mo Salah faked that Injury! Lol! I don't know though, I might be completely wrong, but I felt so since he hand no hard tackles and impact from the opposing players.
Arsenal has good chance to win the game against Crystal Palace. It's a good thing whenever people underestimate you and you finally level up.

No one is confident that Arsenal will win Crystal Palace in their next match. I have seen some people predict Crystal Palace to win the match due to Arsenal's poor performance. I am also not confident that Arsenal will win the match, but Arsenal already had two losing streaks, so they will do everything possible to break the losing streak. Crystal Palace is not a very strong team which I will say Arsenal won’t be able to win. Seriously, the match won’t be an easy one for Arsenal since their performances have been kind of poor lately, but they should be able to win the match. But seriously, Arteta has lots to work on.
This game will be one that Arsenal will have to suffer before they can get a win,I think they will win,but it will be an ugly one.Crystal palace knows that Arsenal always wins them, and they are also aware of the fact that Arsenal are not inform at the moment, they have been loosing to teams they were not supposed to lose to,WesrHam and Fulham have all beaten them, but the gunners will be so eager to get back to winning ways.Reports suggest that some of their key players will be back from injury,a player like Thomas Partey and Jurien Timber will be available options, that might be on the bench for Asenal for this game.

With the Africa Cup of Nations, it is an advantage for Man City to overtake Liverpool at the top of the standings because apart from the Man City squad having recovered, on the other hand Liverpool lost several key players. For Kloop, he really hopes that Egypt will not qualify for the final, but M is wrong, this is his last chance to bring Egypt to win the Africa Cup of Nations before he retires and of course to prove that he is an Egyptian legend. This is the dilemma between kloop and wrong. Cheesy

This is Jurgen Klop, not another coach. I think he has a good strategy to fill the void left by Salah against Arsenal and Chelsea if Egypt advances to the final. Because Klopp is a genius, he once tried to include Salah in the second half of the UEL (even though the opponent was mediocre) but anticipated it if Salah was not there. Salah's position can be filled by Nunez, Szobo, Elliott or Doak, without Endo there is still Macca who has recovered and can shift TAA to the middle. Then there is Diaz, Gakpo, Gravenberch, Jones, and don't forget Jota. So I think Liverpool can win the game even without Salah.

Of course, if Mohamed Salah suffers a serious injury and has to be out for a long time, it is very likely that it will have a big impact on the performance of the Liverpool team, but up to now there has been no confirmation of the injury suffered by Mohamed Salah.
This season is still quite long and anything is possible, so we shouldn't just focus on one player. Now what is clear is that Man City's performance has returned to better after KDB recovered from his injury, which means the competition at the top of the Premier League standings is getting fiercer.

Mohamed Salah, who suffered an injury while defending the Egyptian national team, is something that Liverpool doesn't want because Mohamed Salah is really needed by Liverpool and we'll see what happens if Liverpool is without Mohamed Salah, but my gut feeling is that Liverpool will continue to produce good performances even without Mohamed Salah, do you all have the same feeling?

I think E. Haaland's injury has made Manchester City less enthusiastic, but the return of Kevin De Bruyne has certainly brought fresh air to Manchester City and Manchester City supporters and Manchester City definitely wants to win another trophy this season and Mohamed Salah's injury will certainly upset Liverpool now Manchester City has a big chance of winning another trophy this season. Jurgen Klopp's task is now increasingly difficult with his injury mohamed salah while Pep Guardiola will definitely be eager to make Manchester City champions. but I hope Salah recovers quickly from his injury so he can quickly return to playing at Liverpool to show his good game.
