Even though the match held in Newcastle's home, but I believe Manchester City will win. They have a complete squad, only Haaland is the exception, but I don't think it will be a big problem since Manchester City have many players who have a good shooting skills.

Maybe they only win with few goals like 1-2 goals, Newcastle most of the time can play good in their home ground.
Man City is always the favorite team when Haaland is absent Alvarez is in charge of the front line but he always does a good job so I say this victory can be on paper for Man CIty.
The midfielders have recovered enough I think the ability to supply the ball forward will be better especially there is Kevin De Bruyne who can appear even though I don't think it will be full time to play.
There is no time for Man City to lose or draw because they have targets that need to be met after some less than impressive performances. Now with the existing squad, even though Haaland is absent, it is not an obstacle for Pep Guardiola to immediately collect points. Newcastle itself playing at home is a plus point but it is not a benchmark that they can beat Man City game. I would bet on the Citizen winning. St. James' Park is not too scary because Head2Head Man City is still far ahead.
The game is really going to be tough for both teams but the way you are seeing it,it may not be like that.I know Newcastle are not in a great form, but at thesame time Mancity are not as good as you think anymore,if Newcastle really belt up,they can draw them or even win them.Their statistics in the past two seasons now shows that City don't always win them like that,it's a battle between the two clubs as Newcastle are always good at upsetting big teams. They might just score one goal and defend it till the end.Mancity are going to welcome two names,Jeremy Doku and Debruyne back to their starting line up,and this serve as a boost to City.I predict this game to end 2:2.

De Bruyne's return can indeed provide quite a big change, but what you need to pay attention to is that De Bruyne has just recovered from injury and this will definitely affect his playing performance on the field which will decrease slightly and in the match against Newcastle I doubt if De Bruyne will be able to appear because previously Guardiola said that he didn't want to force De Bruyne to appear immediately but preferred to wait until he said he wanted to compete.
Even though it is very convincing that Manchester City can beat Newcastle, I will avoid betting on that match because I think it looks like I have a curse from Newcastle who always loses betting on Newcastle matches and on the one hand, Newcastle is also in an unstable condition, several midfielders are injured.
But my prediction is that if De Bruyen cannot return to the field, maybe Manchester City will win narrowly 1-2 for Manchester City.
Kevin De Bruyne return from recovery and have quit well debut last match with one assists against Huddersfield Town on FA Cup, its nice start for him after returning from long term injury and he still on very good performed for Manchester City.
Upcoming match, Manchester City will face Newcastle United in Premier League and seems Pep Guardiola can play De Bruyne on the first minutes and get back his central midfielder, so excited waiting his magician and make many assists in Premier League after absent 19 matches with Manchester City with one appearance in this season before getting injury. Looking De Bruyne performance last match on FA Cup seems he doesn't need time for adapting again because he was ready on top level performance for helping Manchester City return to the top position standings again.
I really thought Bruyne will do perfect but seeing this right now got me thinking and wondering, to be sincere this is an amazing point why Bruyne will not perform his best and who knows he might likely get another injury cause we can't really tell and have seen most players after coming back from their injury between some few time we'll hear another injury, but still I have always believed in Bruyne cause the guy is so good and if Bruyne will be part of the match against Newcastle he will definitely bring out his best for the team and looking at the season this is the right chance for city to take opportunity and move forward so I don't think Pep will take this match for granted.

Chelsea against Fulham would be game to watch after Fulham lost to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup few days back. I can't imagine Chelsea getting a win in that game after what we saw Fulham play Liverpool, that's if the visitors would keep up with that performance without any silly mistake, I see them winning Chelsea tomorrow. Pochettino and his boys are not consistent in the EPL and the coach is not helping matters as it stands because with the set of players he have, he should be getting points from these smaller clubs but the reverse is the case which is bad. This game against Fulham should be an easy game but I can imagine the blues struggling to get a goal but let's see the formation and players Pochettino would use.
Every match that Chelsea will face will definitely raise doubts from everyone. In fact things have become more difficult to predict. Because it is difficult for us to expect Chelsea to suddenly return to their best performance. Because every time we expect Chelsea to play well and win the match then all we get is disappointment.

The match against Fullham will indeed be a match that is very difficult to predict. But if we look at Chelsea normally then this match should make Chelsea the favorite. Because Chelsea is the host of the match. and in terms of standings, Chelsea is above Fullham. which Chelsea should still be better than Fullham. But I consider Fullham starting to rise after seeing Fullham able to beat Arsenal. But at that time Fullham was the host. And this time the conditions were different because Chelsea was the host.

I might have to consider keeping Chelsea as favourites. But I also still have doubts about this. But it is also very difficult to try to favorit Fullham who are playing away from home.

They have to catch up with the points that are quite behind even though there is one game but that is not a guarantee as long as they can win I think it will be Pep Guardiola's focus to get 3 points in this match, even though you say playing at St. James Park is a plus for Newcastle I think it is still low because their performance is still not good at the moment.

Despite playing away Man City odds are small @1.55 if you look at the betting market now while Newcastle are at odds @5.50 the difference is very far, the bookies know Newcastle will not be able to win.
Manchester City's winning percentage is much greater and indeed compared to Newcastle, so it is only natural that Manchester City's odds are smaller.
Newcastle is currently in a slump, Newcastle started this season not well and even several of their main players suffered injuries making it quite difficult for them to recover and in my opinion when the Newcastle team is in a slump like now it is almost impossible for them to be able to keep up or snatching victory over a strong team like Manchester City.

It seems that Newcastle's misfortunes will not end, this time Joelinton was injured, he was out of the game for 6 weeks. He has problems with his quadriceps tendon, which is a complex injury. There has to be a logical explanation for Newcastle having so much injured, it's probably that Howe puts too much pressure on the players and they just can't handle it with all the tournaments they play.

Newcastle United was fantastic in the early stages of the season, but they are no longer in peak form, and I believe they will finish in the top four this season. Injuries are the only thing that has kept most of the top performers off the field; they have struggled to fit in in previous games, but it doesn't appear to working. Eddie Howe had to rework his ideas since the current situation at the club was not something he expected or settled for. Joelinton is a crucial midfielder for Eddie Howe and Newcastle, and his absence for weeks will undoubtedly result in a decline in the Magpies' powerhouse.

That is true as Newcastle was brilliant in performance when the Premier League started and up to a certain point they were extremely near the top of the standings.I don"t know what happened then to them but I think it was that they lacked the resource to perform at such levels in both the Premier League and Champions League so most likely their players were not ready for performing well in both competitions and eventually this led to tiredness which is affecting their results.

Yes, Newcastle is facing problems in their squad. This will not be easy for them, especially in the next match against City. This is a tough opponent, after several previous matches in the Premier League, they experienced problems and difficulties. they even had to lose to Luton and Nottingham.
maybe it will be a little difficult for them to return to the top 4 of the Premier League standings. because the team that is currently in the top 4 of the standings is quite consistent. it will be difficult to shift them.

But from what I observed in the match, it turned out that Liverpool was without M. Salah. We could see that the attacks built by Liverpool were a little dull. Even though it doesn't have much effect on the midfield and back line, there does seem to be a difference on the front line. So Liverpool could be in a difficult situation if they face a strong team without M. Salah. But still, their level of attack is still in the best category compared to other teams at the moment (except Man City).
When a player has always been the main player and is always in the line-up, it can affect their game, unless they can place players who have the same abilities. M Salah has been Liverpool's mainstay up front all this time, so it's natural that when he can't play it will slightly affect how Liverpool build attacks, even though it's not significant, it's still felt. It's actually difficult to anticipate something like this, because the player who is placed there is not used to the role of the player he is replacing, or the player doesn't have a lot of playing time, so it requires further adjustments. Many clubs experience the same thing as this, and it is a classic problem for all clubs.
Yes, it is true that this problem has become a fairly common problem but it always affects a team. M. Salah is now absent from Liverpool because he went to the Egyptian national team to fight in the Africa Cup of Nations. And this will make M. Salah absent this month. Fortunately, in January we can see that Liverpool's schedule is not that difficult. The only opponents Liverpool will face this month are Bournemouth and Fullham. And I think even without M. Salah Liverpool would still be able to win in these two matches. Because Liverpool is lucky to have good second-string players for the attack line. So Klopp is less confused about the problem of M. Salah's absence.

The Newcastle vs Mancity will be an interesting game to watch, indeed Newcastle have a solid record against big teams, they know how to play big teams especially a team like Mancity,so in this match,I doubt if Mancity will be able to get a win, although I know Newcastle are not in a good form at the moment, their performance are very poorly lately, and it has made them lose few games consecutively. However,I expect this game to be very tough for City, they have Debruyne back, and that will boost their spirit, their midfield is now going to be very solid,as they look forward to starting the second half of the season with a win. While on the other hand, Newcastle will be looking for a draw atleast.
I hope Newcastle does something exceptional versus City. They're great at upping their game against strong teams, and playing City is no easy accomplishment. I think they'll play well despite their recent struggles. Newcastle's home advantage shouldnt be disregarded, even though City's midfield is solid with De Bruyne returning. I expect Eddie Howe to change tactics, which might impact the game. My intuition tells me City will struggle and possibly draw.
I hope so too, Newcastle can provide a resistance that will make it difficult for Manchester City to get a victory. But with what I've seen from Newcastle this season, I wouldn't expect too much from them, because that would be disappointing.
In the last 5 matches Newcastle played they could only win 1 time and the rest ended in defeat, it was a bad record for them. While Manchester City can be better, although they slipped, but slowly they can restore their performance and make them win again.
Manchester City's chances are still above Newcastle, a draw might be a very good result for the host.

I'm not too sure even though playing at St. James' Park because the decline experienced by Newcastle is quite significant, it has lost 3 times in a row if losing again will be its 4th defeat in the Premier League.

The news of Joelinton injury I'm sure will be a heavy one for Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe. The club have failed to replicate their impressive performance of last in the campaign and it has got a lot of people talking about how the manager's performance is nothing but a "one-season wonder".

In my own opinion, I think the challenges of Newcastle that's stopped them from delivering impressive performances like they did last season is the fact that some of their key players have suffered series of injuries that's kept them out for long. Now that Joelinton is out injured and is expected to put fir the next six weeks, I think it'll be a good idea for the club to sign another good forward this winter transfer window if not on permanent basis then   on loan

The two teams at the bottom of the league will meet. Although Burnley was a slight favorite because they played at home, Luton Town collected more points in the league.
Luton Town has been on the rise in recent weeks. They beat Newcastle United and Sheffield United in a row. Burnley last beat Fulham.
In the first half of the league match, Burnley beat Luton Town away. It may be thought that they will play more comfortably at home now, but looking at their form, it seems like it will be a difficult match for them.
On the site I follow, two commentators said that both teams would score. Their predictions are often not accurate. This situation confused me. There may not be a goal from both teams. Grin

Burnley has won just three premier league games this season and has lost fifteen games, which tell so much about how weak they are, their weakness is such that is very likely to get them relegated , they have just 11 points and at the 19rh position on the table, close to the bottom of the table, they will literally have to work hard to get out of the relegation zone.

Lutton town who will be hosted by Burnley later tomorrow,  is just a step ahead of Burnley with just fifteen points at the eighteenth position, they have in their last five games won two, lost two which shows some level of improvement over Burnley who happens to be their counterpart. Lutton will have some confidence over Burnley because they have more success in recent times than Burnley and they were able to put up good performance in their last game , I'm looking forward to see a good fight between both teams they both seem like they have got equal strength.
The match between Luton Town and Burnley will be an interesting game to watch because both clubs are fighting to escape the relegation zone. Luton Town will win against Burnley if the match doesn't end in a draw because Luton Town is currently in form, and Luton Town has won 2 of their last 3 matches in the league.

Only one win in the last 5 matches is certainly a very bad result for Newcastle and they have thrown away 12 points. I think Manchester City is clearly the favorite here, even though they are the visiting team and I don't think Newcastle will have a chance to win this week's match. Manchester City has Kevin De Bruyne who has returned from injury, but Haaland's return is still in doubt because there is no latest news regarding his injury.

But Pep Guardiola won't worry because he still has great players in his squad and that's why there is always a way to win for Manchester City. A draw might sound good, but that's even if Newcastle doesn't concede, because if they concede once, Manchester City will continue to try to increase the number of goals until Newcastle is unable to equalize. So Newcastle should start improving their defense when facing a team with a fast attack and tight pressure.

Of course Liverpool will not be easy to beat in a return match, but don't just write off Fulham, because given the fight they pulled against Liverpool anything might happen. Liverpool cannot consistently maintain a winning status at the three competitions you mentioned without the presence of M.salah for the next month's, as he has gone for AFCON, and we both know that, that's a big blow for Liverpool as he is their anchor head in goals scoring. I feel Liverpool should just channel their energy only on the premier League,  as they giving arsenal a run for their money.

the main player who participated in the African cup and could not appear for Liverpool was only Moh Salah. so I don't think it's a big problem. because there are a lot of banging power or liverpool attackers in stock there are luiz diaz. cody gackpo, dieogo jota, dawrin nunez. so I don't think there is a problem in staying Moh Salah for even 1 month.

Liverpool's victory in the league cup against Fulham with a score of 2-1, it seems that there are some parties who feel dissatisfied because Mohamed Salah is not present, but of course even though Mohamed Salah doesn't appear, I think Liverpool shows their performance well even without Mohamed Salah, Liverpool can win match. Indeed, Liverpool really needs the figure of Mohamed Salah because with Mohamed Salah Liverpool's performance will be even better. and I think if there was Mohamed Salah, Liverpool would probably score more goals. In the second leg of the semifinals, it will certainly be an exciting match between Fulham and Liverpool because Fulham has certainly learned a lot from the previous match against Liverpool and without the presence of Mohamed Salah, it certainly opens up good opportunities for Fulham. .

but if you think about it, the absence of Mohamed Salah will make Liverpool's performance less than optimal, but in the absence of Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp will definitely provide good direction and strategy for the Liverpool players so that in the end the Liverpool players will be able to play. to adapt without Mohamed Salah. Of course we have seen Liverpool's match without Mohamed Salah, even though without Mohamed Salah, Liverpool could have won. Yes, of course there are other players who can be relied on as you mentioned.

It seems that there are mixed opinions about Liverpool's victory in the League Cup against Fulham. While some may feel dissatisfied with Mohamed Salah's absence, others believe that Liverpool showed a good performance even without him. It is true, and everyone knows that Mohamed Salah is an important figure for Liverpool, and his presence can enhance their performance more. It is possible that with Salah, Liverpool could have scored more goals than they are scoring now.

The upcoming second leg of the semifinals between Fulham and Liverpool is expected to be an exciting match. Fulham has likely learned from their previous match against Liverpool, and the absence of Mohamed Salah may provide good opportunities for them. However, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool's coach, will surely provide direction and strategy to help the players adapt without Salah. We have seen Liverpool play without Salah before, and they have still managed to win matches. There are other players on the team who can be relied upon to try their best, even though they are not like Salah; they will make the rearm proud and score me goals.
