Yeah as we predict in previous seasons Chelsea just waiting for the right moment to return to the golden days while a strong team like Manchester City is also waiting for the end of their glory, this cycle continues to repeat in the Premier League and for next season I think it's time for Chelsea. For now the thing we are waiting for the most is Chelsea against Arsenal and Liverpool and based on their schedule they will fight next year, we want to see how Chelsea against Liverpool who are on Fire and in the race for this season.

Saying the club isn't in the title race relieves pressure on the players and allows them to perform without thinking they have to give their all to stay in the title race. He doesn't want to be in a situation where he says the team is in the title battle to hype up the season and keep expectations high when the squad isn't mentally prepared to start chasing the trophy.

He trains with them everyday so he knows what the mentality of his players are.

But it is the first time in a very long time that Chelsea plays consistently well over an extended period. This has been their biggest problem that good games were mixed with bad games all the time. They can finally be taken seriously again and it looks like Manchester United is now going through what Chelsea is now able to leave behind them.

I still think that it was not the smartest decision by Amorim to take over Manchester United by the way. Maybe it is the big club name that gets people to leave another club, but in this case the name Manchester United has been sounding bigger than the team actually is. Apart from the FA Cup win against Manchester City, there isn't much going on and it's not shocking anymore at all to see them lose games against teams like Nottingham Forest. Lucky for them that there are 3 very bad teams in the Premier League or otherwise they would already be dealing with the relegation zone.

What Amorim is now going through is definitely not meaning a lot of fun. When he defeated Manchester City with Sporting, I think that was serious fun but now he has taken over a team that is playing devastatingly bad and there is no bright future ahead of them. No Champions League or Europa League next season unless a miracle happens, but I doubt that anyone believes that could be the case.

Chelsea is now the first team in London after beating Tottenham. Tottenham is not a bad team and they could be even in the top side of the Premier League with their new coach but in this game, Tottenham lost the game against Chelsea and the good thing about Chelsea is they finally got back to the golden days they had before after changing coaches over and over.
Enzo Maresca helped this team to improve a lot and now they are very close to Liverpool while other teams like Manchester City and Arsenal are not in good form.

And why do you say they would be aiming for the league title? I mean this is even the best opportunity they have as Manchester city and arsenal are definitely losing more and more points by the day and the only team standing in their way now is Liverpool which can also slip up, I mean if anything they lost the league to city when they were already eight points clear so definitely anything can still happen with Chelsea.

Julen Lopetegui would breath a little now that his boys were able to secure an important win at home to Wolves. Having to lose back to back before this game only meant that the man was seriously hanging onto his job by a thin thread but since they were able to defeat Wolves today, maybe the West Ham management could consider giving him a little more time.
Out of 15 games, Wolves have only been able to win two and it's not a surprise that they are in the 19th spot but I'm a bit understanding of their situation being that they have sold most of their good players and the ones that are there are just getting by. Although I expected something of Wolves being that they were a bit impressive when the season just started, I did not see them to go so down to the point that its as if they are waiting for the season to be over so they can be moved to the championship division.

That’s what even Enzo Maresca has been saying, maybe he doesn’t want pressure to be on the players, because I don’t think a club will be winning all their matches, and they will be in second position, just 4 points below the club that’s in 1st position, and they won’t be aiming for the league title. I don’t think that’s really possible, but Enzo Maresca is just saying that just to reduce the pressure on the players, and from the way Chelsea is playing currently, anything can still happen. I won’t be surprised if they end up winning the league title, because I just love the energy they are playing with.

I think the referee went overboard with the reaction in that video clip that went viral, as an umpire, you don't only need to be seen as unbias, you need to also show that you are unbias in your dealings and in your utterances. The Decision to lay him off I believe was a tough one, considering the time it took, and not only that, this referee's go through intense training to reach the level David Coote got to, it was a hard decision to take but I think it was for the interest of everybody so that the FA and the football body in the premier League can be seen to be unbias and firm when it comes to breaking the laws, every now and then we see a lot of footballers paying fine for one offense or the other, so for me is the right step in the right direction.

The match has started and is currently at halftime. The teams are about to head back to the pitch for the second half, and the score is still 0-0. Honestly, both teams are working hard to score goals and secure victory, but it hasn't been easy for either side.

With the way the game is going, it's possible that it might end in a draw. However, let's see what happens, as West Ham is putting in slightly more effort than Wolves. It might be possible for West Ham should lucky to win the game. In fact, I am expecting West Ham to put in more effort in second half to win this match, especially since they have been losing matches back to back. They need to make their fans happy by securing a win tonight.

I think the issue of poor defending is not peculiar to Chelsea alone it cut across all the  top clubs, even Arsenal that use to have solid defense had been porous this season I can attribute it to strong attackers in all the premier league clubs, however the first two goals conceded by Chelsea yesterday was caused by Cucurella who slipped off consequently losses possession to Tottenham Hotspur player who capitalized on the errors to score their goals, eve Liverpool defense too isn't that strong now that Konate is out injured same with Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City that is why clean sheets is no attainable in the league.

To some degree, I feel the hype on Amorim was too much and that made a lot of people expect him to perform miracle immediately after taking over the leadership of the team. He has been a very successful coach and with his resumption as the head coach, everyone believed he was going to make Manchester United great again and also bring them back to their winning ways but we can’t see that from him now. I feel we should give him more time to adapt more to the league and then by next season we can tell how far he can be able to manage the team.


Chelsea’s defense is not really bad in my opinion and what happened in their last match was due to error from one of the players but technically, their defense is very strong and solid and with time you’ll get to see clearly why I said so. Chelsea’s performance have improved in their recent games and from the start of the season in general, they have really put up a very good performance and it is really paving way for them this season unlike what we saw in their last seasons and previous seasons before that time. They are very much in this competition more this season and I see them as a team that will compete for the league title even though they’re not publicly admitting that they are in for the title race too.

It is obvious and everybody has studied the Arsenal's style of play, and the only lapses everyone can see is the front man which is the top nine that will be reliable to carry the team if any of the wingers couldn't score goal in a match.

If Arsenal can sign a striker, they can defeat any team in the world right now because Arteta has built the team to be stronger than expected, the only position that is left is the striking position because Arsenal wingers are scoring more goals than the striker, and even the defenders are more reliable in terms of goal scoring than the striker they have in their squad.

This January transfer window will be the chance for Arteta and Arsenal management to sign a striker that is good, and if they can achieve that, they can win the Premier League because I am still sure that Arsenal will be back strongly to compete for the title.

To be fair Arsenal is also missing a lot of players, hence its quite normal for someone to have that kind of return when they are missing so many players. And the way they are playing, Arteta basically got what he got from Pep but put his own twist to it, like a bit more defensive scheme, and that worked defensively, but offense is definitely taking a hit because of that. I am sure that if they can get a superstar up front, that would help them a lot and they could maybe score easier. Saka was amazing for a while, but its just not enough with the people they have right now, they need a great striker that can change all of this and give them a scoring ability that will see them improve.

Lack of negligence and accountability in performance is what Arsenal lacks, the crazy stuff about their position is that they are not doing well but because of where they are staying, the table makes it looks like they are in great shape but they are not different from Manchester City as I'm seeing them right now. They lack a striker no matter how they want to put it, my views remain the same, the current forward aren't palatable for the team yet they had the audacity to sell Nketiah as loan.

They have draw a lot of matches last two months, they have been in form last month to now but when you have seen the best of them and want them to continue, they fade and do the other way. It would have been better if they draw Manchester United and win Fulham than the way they ended the match. All I can see is that Arsenal isn't winning the trophy right now until they looks dominant like the way Chelsea are going right now with their performance.

It is still unclear about the derogatory comments he targeted at Liverpool and it's former manager. But based on investigation he has been found guilty which had resulted to a sack. He still has the option of appealing this verdict, maybe he could have a lesser punishment or be acquitted.

David Coote is still under another investigation by the FA for misconduct. There is an allegation that he told a fan before the game started that he would give a Leeds player a card. He also fulfilled his promise by giving the player yellow after which he texted the fan about his action. Nobody knows if this is related to gambling, maybe investigation might prove that later.

I think Chelsea are on their way to peak form, and to be honest they are much better than last season. Enzo Maresca certainly knows his team potential well, as well as the weaknesses that he needs to fix in the upcoming matches. As time goes by, Chelsea seem to be able to compete with Liverpool at the top of the standings. Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho are starting to be the main focus of Chelsea revival, and both players were important pillars when Chelsea beat Tottenham in the match week 15.

Chelsea current player composition is very balanced, although some of them look more prominent thanks to their individual abilities. In the future, with the chemistry that is increasingly formed, Enzo Maresca will have a more solid team, so that they are able to achieve victory with a clean sheet record. Most likely Enzo Maresca will be able to meet expectations, even though at first many people doubted his ability.

West Ham vs Wolves

West Ham (predicted lineup): Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Max Kilman, Emerson, Edson Alvarez, Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen, Carlos Soler, Mohammed Kudus, Niclas Fuellkrug.

Wolverhampton (predicted lineup): Jose Sa, Nelson Semedo, Santiago Bueno, Craig Dawson, Toti Gomes, Mario Lemina, Joao Gomes, Hee-Chan Hwang, Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait Nouri, Joergen Strand Larsen.

Both Julen Lopetegui and Gary O'Neil are seriously under pressure for not performing recently and tonight they are going one on one. West Ham are struggling to get back to their best form but it's wasn't working out, their performance declined which made Julen Lopetegui's career in danger, they have a good record against Wolves but the way the result appears sometimes  it really shocking, since West ham are the host I expected them to win the game.

They were too fixated with a few long passes which in the end they were a little troubled in finishing because it cannot be denied that in this match Arsenal had quite a lot of opportunities, it's just that they couldn't finish well due to the momentum that was wasted because of an uncomfortable touch. Rice had a few chances but it had no impact on the on target Arsenal had.

Is a good lesson to other referees who had such act in mind to do, is very sad to see a very good and reputable referee as David Coote being sacked in such way, though I didn't believe that he was that kind of person that would behave so unprofessional, however the question is that was he not aware that there are cameras everywhere that could capture him with such comments or perhaps he did it intentional with no regards if he would be caught in the camera or not?, I wonder what he would even be saying about Liverpool because even with Klopp they were still better just like now.
