The competition for the Premier League title is becoming more and more exciting! Manchester City is showing incredible form in their recent matches, and I can clearly see their determination to succeed. The top four teams, especially Liverpool, are not giving up either. Aston Villa is putting in a commendable effort, making the points difference not as significant.
The league is getting tougher by the day especially at this late time of the season because the competition between Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Arsenal is very strong that you can hardly see a club lasting longer on the premier League first position because almost all the above mentioned club has tested the premier League first position but could not stay long, so perhaps right now is very difficult to predict the winner because there performance are almost equal but however with the way things are going if Liverpool remains consistent on there performance they will stand on a higher chance of wining the league.

Arsenal are nowhere near the kind of performance they had last season, they haven't been able to do what they did last season, but I still think Arteta still has a chance of winning something this season. They seat 4th on the premier league table now,as they lost to Fulham in a dissappointing results that may dent their tittle hope.

If Arsenal are to win anything this season, they need to go into the transfer window and sign a top winger,a midfielder and a defender, those three positions are the places they really need to improve inorder to get a better result in the second half of the season.
Not minding the performance of Arsenal since the beginning of the season, I've not believed yet they they may end up champions of the premier league this season because some how I sense some of their weakness that were yet to be challenged so all along it did looked like they were really formidable, soon we will know how well they can still go.

Until the season is over and the champions are defined we may only be speculating ,last season Arsenal did performed so we'll that even before the end of the season, we could already assume they were going to win as the margin which they were on the top of the standing was so broad that it was believe it will take others so much time to get to Arsenal of which it's expected before they will, Arsenal should have won the trophy already but then they had a tremendous set back and before we knew it Manchester city was already sitting comfortable at the top of the table and it became too late for Arsenal to get back to the top and almost similar thing is repeating this season.

The EPL table keep changing and we know the elite clubs that would become competitive. Motivation, consistency and hardwork is what Liverpool need to fuel the stage. You're mocking other elite clubs yeah? Who has the best laugh? The EPL campaign have not ended, so these clubs mentioned have potentials of climbing to the first spot. Liverpool is lucky enough to have Jurgen Klopp who have boosts the onfidence of the club at Anfield. You're a Liverpool fan, you're happy, it's normal but don't get carried away because there are clubs that might not be doing good presently but they will certainly bounce back to good form.
This season is still very long and there are still quite a lot of matches remaining, the top teams are not far apart in points so it is very possible for shifts to occur every week.
Liverpool is indeed leading the standings at the moment, but looking at the distance between the points and several teams below it, of course that is not a guarantee for Liverpool to be able to maintain it.
I agree that we should not underestimate any team in the Premier League, and as has happened in previous seasons, the competition for the Premier League title is quite fierce because almost all the teams in the top flight have capable strength.
I do agree that anything could happen and we should definitely consider this situation as way too close. Liverpool, Arsenal and City all have a chance to win the title and anything could happen from now until the end of the season. However, I believe that we are going to end up with something that should be fun, and that's the most important part.

Normally it's just one team getting all the points and nobody close to them so there is no fun, however, if we could end up with a situation like this where three teams are trying their best, suddenly it becomes a lot more fun. This makes the league race more entertaining to watch. I personally have a lot of enjoyment from it during this season, and no matter who wins, I will find it fun.

Regarding Aston Villa, it is quite surprising to see they are in the top 4 of EPL standings. They look stronger than the previous season. It is still different with Newcastle, they are now much weaker than the last season. However, it is still the first half of the season, there is still high chance for the changes on the position. Let's see which team to play more consistently in the second half of the season. I believe the team that has a better squad depth probably will play more consistently.
Now seeing Aston Villa is even wilder in terms of the game so that it is in second place which is quite good at the moment, and it is true that if they are still consistent until the end of the season then this is extraordinary with what Unai Emery has achieved.
Newcastle have started to decline, there must be a little bit of improvement in their squad especially some important players are absent due to injury or Tonali is punished, what Eddie Howe must do is find a way out if not they will only be in the middle of the table so we are not sure they can finish better.

I believe squad depth is not a major factor for a team to be consistent because anyway, if we consider about Aston Villa. Then yes, at least Aston Villa also does not have good squad depth but anyway, the fact is that Aston Villa managed to maintain a position in second place. Whereas before, we know that Arsenal are at the top of the table and Arsenal have better squad depth compared to Aston Villa but in fact, Arsenal still failed to maintain their position.

Therefore, I think at this moment it is about how well their head coach applies the strategy by adjusting the players in the squad. If their head coach is right in applying the players according to the right strategy then yes, at least the team's performance will also be able to have better consistency.

Is true that they're good at messing up and for Arteta to be in this position he is at the table only means they have lost so many points and chances which isn't healthy for the club, if this continues it will only be when the fans start shouting for Arteta to be fired. If Arsenal mistakenly win the league I'd just say it's luck because they haven't shown any sign of improvement from last season, is like they're repeating the same mistake and wishing to win the title.
As it is, City are topping the league that's if you add up those outstanding games (the points) which to me they'll win it, you know that Liverpool and the others have no chance of bringing the Citizens down, so is best for this Arsenal team to start hoping for other teams who are competing for the title to lose while they win their games.
At the moment,  Manchester City is far from the trophy and even though they are the defending champions they still will need to put in the effort if they ever want to retain the title just as you speculated which looks impossible to me and for sure Liverpool may not be able to sustain the forces for the entire season since it just via miracle that they are sustaining the number one spot up until now and if in the next couple of matches, Liverpool failed to win just as there did in the last match it will be a big downside for the club,  but if there be lucky to win in the next legs of the matches there will be able to attempt a possible win in the season with their current point in the leagues table.

But for Arsenal,  it is now clearly impossible for them to make a repeat of their last season's results this season and due to recent results they're now far from the first spots in any way for the remaining days of this season.

Manchester City always has a surprise at the end of the season, that's why whoever is at the top of the standings, don't rejoice first because in the end it is Manchester City who will win the title this season. If you really want to win the EPL title from Manchester City, of course Liverpool can maintain their consistency until the end. season and play as best as possible to stay on the winning path until the end of the season.
It is not yet certain that Manchester City will win the Premier League this season same as either Liverpool or Arsenal; there will be a lot of surprises in the second phase of the season because most team’s performances will improve because they will sign more players this January. After this January, we will know who will be the champion in the process.

Arsenal's failure last season is an important lesson, not long ago Arsenal always played well and consistently but for some reason they failed to get a win from the last two matches they lost in a row which made them lose points and fall from the top of the standings, that is what Arteta must learn that Arsenal need lots of good players to be able to play to replace injured key players. The competition for the top four is very tight which is why this season looks very interesting to me.
I hope these two consecutive losses in their last matches will be the end of they really want to be title contenders. This season will be different if Arsenal sign a striker and a full back to support Zinchanko if Tomiyasu is injured; this will help them improve in their performance in both Champions League and the Premier League.

Yes but the idea to bring him back to the Premier League would be stupid. I don't know what Chelsea's plans look like because as far as I know it is about them right? He is still a loan player for AS Roma and if Lukaku now scores a lot of goals in this season for Roma, I see the worst case coming that Chelsea wants to try it again with him and he would waste another year with the Blues.
Lukaku is getting older and he is no longer suitable to play in the Premier League because his speed is no longer the same. Chelsea don't need Lukaku and they could look for another striker instead of bringing Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge. While playing for Chelsea Lukaku did not provide anything meaningful for the club and he was loaned out. If Chelsea are now interested in him again, I also think it will make Lukaku return to the worst condition he was in when he was there.

Lukaku is more suited to playing in the Italian league and Rome is a good place for him because there is Jose Mourinho who already knows Lukaku's character and style of play. Deciding to move to Chelsea was a bad decision and I don't think Lukaku will make the same mistake.
Chelsea don't need a striker now bringing back Lukaku would be counterproductive he doesn't fit in to Chelsea style of play, Pochettino needed to do more work on Jackson and I believe with time and more playing time he is going to improve, this is his first season in the club and it's not easy to adapt to physicality of EPL recall when Didier Drogba first arrived Stanford Bridge he also experience poor start for Chelsea after the first season he picked form and remain consistent through out, moreso Nkunku who just came back from injury is another alternative striker whom I believe if fully fit would score a lot of goals for Chelsea and with the exit of Jackson to AFCON he will enjoy a regular playing time.

Lukaku has not even played a single match under pochettino and how can you determine that if he doesn't even fit to the chelsea's gameplay under pochettino? Look at the current striker of chelsea. Even pochettino was putting jackson as a winger in the previous match.  Cheesy
That's enough to say that if lukaku may be fit to the chelsea's gameplay right now. Chelsea needs a strong striker that can keep the ball for so long. It's not strikers who will be often losing the ball once they got it like jackson and broja.

These guys are shit and lukaku was far better than those guys. Lukaku was almost helping intermilan to won UCL last season. This is a sense reason to bring lukaku back to the chelsea again.

Im just trying to say based on the fact. If lukaku has not even played a single match with chelsea and can we assume if he was bad? It's not within our capabilities.

That's right, the fight for the Premier League title this season is very interesting and full of tension. Manchester City did lose points in several of the matches they played at that time, due to their poor stability and performance, perhaps this was one of the factors in the absence of two of their mainstay players due to injuries they suffered. If Haaland and De Bruyne return and have recovered from injury, this will indeed be the best moment for Manchester City to beat their next opponent, in order to catch up on points. That way, I believe Manchester City will be able to shift Liverpool's position at the top of the standings.
It is true that Arsenal was at the top of the standings at that time, but this did not last long and is now in 4th position because they have experienced defeats and also draws. It is true that Liverpool has consistent and good performance, but in my opinion Aston Villa and Tottenham are still less consistent in their matches.

As I observe the ongoing race in the Premier League, it's challenging to predict which team will emerge as the champion. However, based on their consistent performances, my focus is on Manchester City and Liverpool. These two teams have a history of not giving up, especially towards the end of the season. With half of the season already behind us, the competition is heating up. On the other hand, Arsenal seems to be facing challenges, having recently won only one out of their last five games. The pattern they showed last season is starting to resurface, and it remains uncertain whether they can turn things around.

Everyone will agree that Aston Villa is an unexpected team so far, they even reached 2nd place in the EPL. I also don't have a strong view that they can penetrate this sacred place which is usually only filled with elite EPL clubs and maybe it's all because of coach Unai Emery who succeeded in turning this team into something even crazier. Aston Villa has an impressive record of beating strong teams like Manchester City and Arsenal, that alone surprises everyone.

Well, for Newcastle it was the opposite and they actually fell deeper in the standings and who knows how long they will be like that. Eddie Howie was praised last season for successfully guiding Newcastle to a place in the Champions League and this season they cannot maintain their existing performance. It was an unforeseen failure.
When we can spot out a club to be promising is when the club have enter the top four ans strong enough to win matches despite facing any opponents. I was expecting to watch Eddie Howe and Newcastle in good form this season but it turn out that they're not able to maintain consistency in matches and they're weigh below the average performance of previous season. One of the good moments for Aston Villa is today, they're in one of the best form and maintaining streak winnings in matches. Aston Villa sitting second position with 13W 3D 4L. This is the sign that Unai Emery is doing quite good job for the Villans.

Today we will witness a match that may be quite awaited by some people, namely West Ham vs Brighton, as we know that lately West Ham are in pretty good form by winning three full points in their last few matches and the most surprising thing for me was when they managed to beat Arsenal it was a good result even though previously they were beaten with a landslide score by Liverpool but in the last five matches they managed to dominate the victory so that they could be ranked 6th in the standings.

So far West Ham have managed to bag a total of 10 wins 4 draws and 6 defeats since the season began, while Brighton only managed to win 8 wins 7 draws and 5 defeats, the point is that honestly I see a pretty good improvement from West Ham this season because as we know last season they performed poorly and almost finished in the relegation zone, while for Brighton themselves they are still a middle team since last season if we look at the current standings, meaning there is a pretty good change this season from David Moyes' squad and their victory in the last match against Arsenal makes me quite confident that they will be able to get full points in the match against Brighton this time.

We are leading the league table. Villa and Arsenal are no threat. City is concern but 5 points behind. Hope we don't lose motivation.
5 points behind, but with a game in hand. Right now Liverpool are the biggest threat to City's quest for a record 4th EPL title in a row, but the thing is, City become unstoppable just at the right time, and that time is approaching; this is why they have won so many EPL titles in recent years. Liverpool might be strong from now until the end of the season, but they can only be champions if City don't go on their long winning runs, City are better than everyone else in a title run-in and we're going to see it play out this season for the umpteenth time.

The battle for the Premier League title is going to be more crowded in the future. Manchester City dropped points in 3/4 matches in a row. But they have managed to solve their own problems. And their performance in the last few matches has been quite stable. Haaland and De Bruyne are returning from injury. Hopefully we will see better performances from Manchester City in the upcoming matches.
The Arsenal team was at the top of the table for a long time. But they have fallen behind as they have dropped points in the last three matches. The most consistent team in the Premier League at the moment is Liverpool. At the same time, the performances of Aston Villa and Tottenham teams are also quite strong.

Liverpool have not performed well in the Champions League this season, making it a bit easier for Liverpool  to perform consistently well in the Premier League. Although  they are playing in the Europa League, the  Europa League teams are relatively weak.

Yeah well that's also a reason but I think to play two competitions simultaneously no matter what the difficulty isn't an easy feat for any club.

Liverpool played  very poorly last season. But their  performance has been very stable since the  beginning of this season. They  have been able to maintain consistency. At the same time,  Liverpool players are not  getting too many major injuries. This is why their  performance is stable. While Arsenal and Manchester City have dropped points in several matches, Liverpool have managed to hold on to the top spot in the points table.

Last season they had injuries and all and Klopp had hard time to choose his strong midfield. I am glad that now they are back on track and are moving things the way they earlier used to. There are certain players who are yet to perform at the top level so there is still some development needed. Yes, this season they hadn't had much injury issues so they are running out fine but they might want to use their players carefully otherwise they will go back to the same position they were in last season. Well not like same position but certainly will drop a few places back but it will hurt given how hard they have performed so far and to come out and lose in the end.

Why is no one talking about Chelsea and Man united their performance this season. As a Chelsea fan Chelsea is getting more worst every season we enter in the premier league seasons, but after their game against Newcastle at the Carabo cup they have been performing well. Against Luton town even as we were away we still  won the game 3:2 a good win to us as Chelsea  fan at  match week 20 in the premier league cup. Match week 21 will be facing Fulham home, so what's your prediction?

So about Man united sometimes they win or lose, their performance against Nottm Forest was poor. They will be playing Tottenham hotspur match week 21 at old Trafford, so what's your prediction.

Between them both who do you think will finish last in the table?

I think West Ham were more happy with the result of this match because Brighton attacked them like a tiger. They took many positions. I was expecting them to score a goal, but they never scored. West Ham goalkeeper Areola was the main player who brought 1 point to West Ham.

Areola's performance in that match was very good. he was the dive of the team when Brighton was very strong in attack. However, the Brighton players have to admit how good West Ham's defense was. not just Areola, but all players who play defense when they are not given the opportunity to develop an attacking game.
Maybe this good performance is what sparked rumors that Chelsea was interested in Areola some time ago. and maybe if West Ham sell him, Chelsea will buy him.

At least, Areola made 8 saves in this match and thus, although Brighton really dominated the attack in this match but with the saves that Areola managed to make, of course West Ham's goal remained clean sheet in this match. But in fact, it is not only in the match that Areola has a high rating with many saves because after all, the fact is that when playing against Arsenal also Areola gets the highest rating and also make 8 saves too.

Therefore, then of course Areola deserves to be the player of the match because after all, Areola managed not to concede even though his team got a lot of attacks. Of course, if West Ham did not have a goalkeeper as good as Areola at this moment, it was very possible for West Ham to lose. But yes, it is lucky that West Ham has Areola who can make West Ham compete well at least in the upper zone in the current Premier League standings.

This season, Liverpool has proven themselves to be ready to take over the title by all means and judging from their performance in recent times it shows alit of antecedence that will change alot of things for both Liverpool players and the management as well, and being able to face and defeat other bigger clubs in terms of points accumulations will help the journey for Liverpool to hold the premier league's title this season and bringing Manchester city down from their high horses.
I would have given the first choice of winners this season to Manchester city, but with the way Liverpool is doing and being more consistent than other EPL teams like Arsenal who were thought to be more attuned to the spirit of competition, I think Liverpool can lift the trophy.

The season is still almost past the middle and the chances of another team like Tottenham Hotspur climbing up the table is very possible, because the tide can change and that's how the EPL competition is.
W are ended with 20th round, and we still have 18th round which are surely going to have excitement with wins and loses for many top teams, so prediction is not easy who is going to win and who is going to lose even at the top we have four teams from them two are at the best and can go for challenge until end of this season but still it's anybody game.

Injuries and other problems can bring down any club like we have few in recent rounds, but one thing is surely Liverpool is surely at his best with their consistency and performance and their attack is also at his best which is giving them good backup in last game against Newcastle United we have best of them as they were able to score many goals and their win give them good confidence and top spot in league table.
