Liverpool played Newcastle yesterday, and while I know it will be a difficult match, I still think Liverpool will win Newcastle regardless of how the game goes. I think the Liverpool squad is very strong right now, and any team that wants to play against Liverpool this season will be serious and put on a good show. Although Newcastle's performance appears strong at the start of the league, after all the players start to take their matches seriously, Newcastle's performance starts to look a little off. I know some people will believe that Liverpool can't beat Newcastle because, when playing a major team, Newcastle always takes the game seriously.

After the first game of 2024, Liverpool is still leading the Premier League. I believe that we should pay close attention to Liverpool because they are making an effort to convey to the public that they will be the team to win the title this season. Their defensive players and even their midfield players are in good shape. The only area in which Liverpool is currently struggling is with a striker who is not as intelligent as Haaland in Manchester City. If he were intelligent, I think no other team could defeat Liverpool and win the Premier League title this season.

Fullham is weaker than Arsenal so if they can win the match against a big opponent like Arsenal, they will take every chance they can have. Whatever tactics is used to beat Arsenal is not too important for Fullham. How many points they get is more important and they got maximum 3 points from the match.

It is a very big success for Fullham and 3 points from Arsenal, helped Fullham to move farther from the delegation zone. With 24 points, they are safe with their temporary position and point differences against Sheffield, Burnley and Luton. It will lit up their fight for survival to stay in Premier League.

With Arsenal, this defeat is very bad for them and now they already drop to the fourth position with 5 points less than Liverpool, 2 points less than Aston Villa and same 40 points as Manchester City that have one extra match to play.

But I like what Fulham is doing. They played as if it wasn't the team that people thought they were bigger. This gave they the spirit of winning the game. Fulham even had more chances to score the third goal.
Marco Silva deserves appreciation for this victory, even though he still has a lot of homework to do to bring Fulham to a consistent performance.
And I'm impressed with Raul Jimenez.
He has improved. I never thought he was important for Fulham

Liverpool is a tough opponent for Newcastle in away and home match, the statistical record of the meeting between the two is proof of Liverpool toughness in beating Newcastle, it's nice to see Mohammed Salah carry out his heroic actions even though he failed once, he still tried to perform optimally until finally he scored 2 goal for Liverpool and with goal he added to his goal collection list, now Mohammed Salah goal collection has reached 14 goals this season and has the same score as Erling Haaland. I think these two players are competing in creating goal opportunities this season Mohammed Salah potential is still quite good. I don't thinks Liverpool has want to sell Mohammed Salah to a Saudi Arabian club for this season.

Liverpool still sits comfortably in first placed with 45 points, Manchester City still has a chances to fight for the English Premier League title because Manchester City still has 1 match pending if they can wins it then the difference with Liverpool is only 2 points, but the clubs below it are like Aston Villa and Arsenal are still trying to winning the Premier League title even though they are not very consistent at the moments.

It was an interesting game from the start to the first half with enough battles between the two teams but no goals. But after half time Liverpool started with a great goal and Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool to go ahead. Although Liverpool took the lead in the 49th minute, Newcastle equalized in the 54th minute. However, at Liverpool's home ground, they managed to mount a great attack and later scored more goals to put Liverpool ahead and the game was never leveled. Mistakes number one and number four were Salah's outstanding and I like him enough, he's a great player. However, Manchester City have not performed very well this season due to which they are currently down at the top of the points table. However, since Liverpool have come into the Premier League with a great performance this season and they are at the top of the points table, they have enough chances to win the title this season.

This season, Liverpool have many players, Klopp can substitute any player he want without need to worry lack of player.

FA Cup might not their goal, but they will try their best because if they able to beat Arsenal, it means one of big competitor will out, so they will have more bright future.

Liverpool have a tight schedule, they also have EFL Cup.

One thing that I want to comment about Liverpool is, they don't have a player who can score like Salah. I hope Klopp will sign a new striker, don't put a big hope to Nunez.

Liverpool played exceptionally yesterday, when the score was 1-1 I thought it would also be their third draw in a row so it would be quite detrimental for Liverpool who were helped by Arsenal's two consecutive defeats, but their game got better and managed to score two goals to lead 3-1 and scored again after Newcastle also managed to score their second goal so that victory belonged to Liverpool.
Newcastle has not managed to get three points when facing Liverpool for quite a long time, even at the start of the season Newcastle still lost even though Liverpool only played with 10 players, and unfortunately for Newcastle this was their third consecutive defeat and in five matches they only managed to get three points, there was a decline which is quite deep in Newcastle's game.

Liverpool as the host and the strongest team in the English league showed their prowess against Newcastle with a score of 4-2 for Liverpool's victory and now Liverpool's points are 45 whereas yesterday before playing against Newcastle Liverpool's points were the same as Aston Villa, namely 42. I bet on Liverpool's victory and this time my prediction was correct because Liverpool won. However, it is a shame that Newcastle could not avenge their defeat in the previous match against Liverpool. but I saw Newcastle players perform very well and I saw that when Newcastle attacked Liverpool it was very good but Liverpool's defense was very strong which ultimately prevented Newcastle from being able to take advantage of the opportunities well. Now Liverpool must be very happy because they won against Newcastle.

Unai Emery will definitely not remain silent and of course he will definitely make a good strategy to build his team to be stronger, and of course the Aston Villa match against Everton will be an interesting match and of course Aston Villa will definitely want to win the match because they definitely want to shift Liverpool's position. He has been the only old player who's still in that team if I'm not mistaken so at some point I don't think his absence would be felt, since they have younger ones who are eager to play. Liverpool can still replace him and even do better, if that happens then Salah should try to avoid injury because he'll be dropped and he won't have that first team shirt again if he comes with any sort of injury.

Salah has indeed been a hero for Liverpool in almost all matches. Well his skills in penalty shots are not that good. But apart from that, he is currently the top scorer in the Premier League along with Haaland. With a total of 14 goals currently the same as the number of goals scored by Haaland. In fact, Salah almost became the 1st top scorer if he managed to take advantage of the penalty in the first half. I don't know if this is just my opinion or not, but I think Salah's performance this season is much better than his performance last season.

Maybe this is true as you say. That's why Liverpool can make the match in the FA Cup just a test to see how strong they are. But it would be much better if Liverpool only had to focus on the European League and Premier League at this time. Because trying to win many titles does have quite a high risk in the fitness of the players themselves.

To be honest, this does look the same as many people predicted because after all Liverpool is a favorite with everything that happens starting from the performance and strength of the team they built.
I actually expected more results from Newcastle but indeed Liverpool's dominance was very difficult for them to anticipate.
With this result, Liverpool at least breathe longer because they can secure the top position for a while. Even though this is still not completely safe but at least at this time they are still comfortable with a difference of 3 points from Aston Villa and 5 points from Manchester City even though Manchester City still has 1 game left.

Now the last match before a few days break will still be interesting as there are names West Ham and Brighton who will meet each other today. I think it will be interesting again because these two clubs still have above average attacking style and quality.

After destroying Newcastle United with a score of 4-2, Liverpool became stronger at the top of the standings. Liverpool were very eager to win at the start of the new year, they immediately appeared very dominant with ball possession of 62 percent.
After failing to score a penalty in the first half, Mohamed Salah became the center of attention in this match with two goals in the 49th and 86th minutes + he recorded one assist. The brace that Mo Salah scored against Newcastle was Mo Salah's 150th and 151st goal with Liverpool in the Premier League.

It was quite an outstanding performance for the Egyptian attacker (Salah) who had 2 goals to his name, the victory was just too easy if you ask me with Newcastle playing like a team who has lost focus in the game. I couldn't get what's their plan B when it was 3-1, they seem confused at some point, with this display I don't see them (Newcastle) as a hard side to play against in the EPL.
Topping the league with the first game of 2024 is really going to be a morela booster for the team and it seems Liverpool will be the only team to give City a run for their money this season and probably Aston Villa because as it is I see Aston Villa as a better side than the Gunners that's why they (Arsenal) didn't come out as a competitive side for the title.

Salah scored many goals for Liverpool and he helped them to get many points, saved them many times. In this match, he opened it for Liverpool too but I think Salah does not have good skills for penalty shots. His style is like just make a shot as most powerful and accurate as he can, the rest will belong to opponent goalkeeper. He does not have good skills to trick opponent goalkeepers at the penalty spot.

FA Cup is not important with Liverpool because they still have Premier League and Europa League to fight. I am sure that Klopp learned a lot from two seasons ago, when Liverpool aimed at many titles, managed to have chances winning them all but at the end, they failed. One season after that, their players began very poorly and many players got injuries, which cost them a position beyond top four in the last season.

I believe Klopp will not repeat that mistakes with overwhelming ambitious targets in this season and they might sacrifice FA Cup to focus on Premier League and Europa League.

M. Salah corrected his mistake by scoring 2 goals in this match. I think Salah is in full confidence in this match. But Newcastle in the first half also seemed to make things a little difficult for the home team. But still Liverpool playing at home always brings high confidence to the Liverpool players thanks to the support of the audience in the stadium.

Seeing the results of this match is actually enough to make me have a stronger feeling that Liverpool can really win the title this season.

The score was 0-0 at half-time, but Liverpool had 18 chances to score compared to Newcastle's one. If Liverpool can keep up the consistency and then make better use of their chances to score goals, then I see the club as the favorite for the title.

Newcastle United does not have good head to head record with Liverpool and this match, again proves this domination of Liverpool in their direct match. Mohamed Salah missed one penalty but he eventually scored two goals which are enough for Liverpool to not only have 3 points but also a big winning. Mohamed Salah shows that he has good mentality and did not let the missed penalty affects him too much in rest of  match.

This winning helps Liverpool continue to stay at the first position and continue this league race as one of strongest competitors. Arsenal are starting to show their weakness and it seems Manchester City will be the only competitor against Liverpool for Premier League title.

Salah has been successfully executing two penalty. Newcastle is just going down again like a rocket and it was getting lose streak. It's very bad for newcastle to lose a few points again after it has been destroyed by liverpool. Liverpool is going back at the top again soon.
i was expecting liverpool to play better than before and salah is contributing a lot to the result from this match. Im very happy to see that liverpool is leading the competition again and the prediction if there will be a competition between liverpool and manchester city will be true.

Im so happy to see that my prediction was coming true. Even though if salah would be missing 1 penalty and it will not chance the situation a lot. Liverpool could still win the game and that's it.
Newcastle was lucky enough caused by liverpool was attacking so crazily against newcastle by making 15 shoots on target which was scarythings for newcastle. I do know that newacstle has been trying so hard to defend it from liverpool.

I must admit that if liverpool does a lot of effort to intensively attacking its opponent.

I was not available to watch Liverpool vs Newcastle United match tonight because I got really occupy with work. Perhapes I've settled and watch the match, coming to the conclusion of seeing Mohammed Salah as the pillar stand for the Reds frontline, he was not contributing anything in the first half but atleasdt he managed to net a brace against Newcastle. Jurgen Klopp is a good coach that understands everything in a rapid momentum, he changed pattern in the second half and his squad didn't hesitate most of the time to take long shots, rather they preferred to do ticki-tacka in the 18 yard box of their opponents and it did work out smooth for them.
