Tottenham vs Manchester United is one big match to be on the look out for especially this season based on both teams rankings. Well I don’t think Manchester United with their current squad will be able to match this Tottenham side. Yes, this Tottenham side could be struggling but I think they’re better off Manchester United because they’ve a serious chase at heart, the Top 4 spot.

 Not like Man United isn’t serious but I think they’re mot ready to get anywhere this season, they win some and loose more and that’s one reason Tottenham will come hurting them in this fixture. Richarlison is one hungry striker who’s ready to make his mark and his name and with United shaky defense, I don’t think they stand any chance against this sweet Tottenham’s attack, well their only hope would be if Lisandro  Martinez would be fit for the match since he's back in training.

It is unfortunate that Manchester United has become the talk in football and not only this season but from like several seasons after Alex Faguson left the club. The coach that would have taken Manchester United higher is José Mourinho. But he was neglected because the expectations of the management and Manchester United fans were very high, such that his achievements of winning the Europa League and ending 2nd in the English premier League was nothing to Manchester United.
Today, no coach has ever beat his record and the big Manchester United we used to know is now struggling to restore their lost glory which is not as easy as they are approaching it.
Manchester United and her fans needs to realise and understand that Manchester United is no longer the excellent club we used to know and used to be proud of those days. Things have changed and they need to realign. Let's see the impact of the change in management can cause.

During the two seasons Manchester United was coached by Erik Ten Hag, there were no significant changes, but in his first season, Erik succeeded in bringing Manchester United to finish in 3rd place in the standings and qualify for the Champions League. But in his second season, Erik Ten Hag was unable to maintain Manchester United performance because until week 20, or to be precise, they had played 20 matches but they were still stuck in 8th place in the standings. I think Erik Ten Hag is not a coach who will be able to bring Manchester United to success like the Ferguson era. I agree with you, it will take several seasons for Man United to appear impressive again and repeat its glory like the Ferguson era. However, there are many things that must be addressed by club officials in the future, starting from managing academy players, recruiting coaches who are in line with club culture, and of course recruiting new players who are not haphazard.

We can see now that almost all of United new recruits at exorbitant prices have minimal contribution, and key players who have played for The Red Devils for several seasons also appear far from standard, although not all of them are like that. No it is not the solution what you are talking about. What you are saying is exactly what they have been doing for a few years now. They need a capable coach who understands the potential of every single player they have at the moment and then he needs to figure out which players available in the market would represent smart additions to the existing squad. So far Chelsea has bought everything and everyone they could get and it led them nowhere. Pochettino was the next big fail, but I couldn't care less. It seems there are people who think Pochettino is a world class coach.

United have become a breeding ground for talent long before this season and there has been no talk of any champion mentality for a long time. Maybe it’s just time to come to terms with the fact that others have taken its place and now in order to even just return to the top 4 (stable and not randomly like last season) infrastructure changes are required (the need for which, by the way, Ronaldo spoke about in his famous interview). United has partially changed its owner, maybe we will see some serious changes, but I think they will happen by the summer.

Serious problems and misunderstandings between the higher management and the players started just after the arrival of the new coach, there is no point in denying that. And I doubt that the owners have serious problems with anything, the only one is that they can't remove Ten Hag for some reason.

It's not just because of Liverpool getting good results in the premier league, but I think the main reason for Liverpool to be at the top of the league is mostly because of the other teams having weak performances.

This is a very bold statement which I don’t agree with. From your statement that last season’s performance weren’t bad so that means Ten Hag and his team has a thing in their sleeves. If we analyze it properly all Manchester United appointed mangers have actually have a very poor second season at the club after a very good first one. This means that the problem isn’t entirely base on the manager alone but also the club hierarchy too. They have failed to support each manager with the signings that they require and this can actually affect the manager plans.

With the injuries surrounding this team currently I will trust Ten Hag till at least the end of the season. If he can actually get them a trophy in his first season and qualify them to the champions league them I will say he can actually make them bounce back again

To be honest, I think they will be okay against Burnley. As for Manchester United, I think they will be okay as well but I am not as sure as the Burnley match. It sucks for the clubs and players to leave their club duty behind to play for the national team. I think the Premier League and other clubs should do something about this.

Richarlison is doing fine these days. So I think he can compensate for something in the matches Son won’t be playing. But to be honest I am scared for them. The FA Cup is a playoff match and losing would mean you are eliminated. I don’t want that to happen. Since Kane left Spurs, there is not really a reliable source of attack for them other than Son.

Chelsea football team was really messed up after Abramovich was forced to sell the club to new bidders and the new owners couldn't maintain the top level it was until now. I've watch Chelsea crumbled all these years and they're keeping all hope alive and I don't think they would be able to make stellar performance this season. I'm tired of hearing Chelsea building their club, I'm not seeing any progress at the current scenario.  Chelsea coach, Mauricio Pochettino is making plans to set up his team to become formidable but it will take lengthy time.

I'm not trying to doubt you than there are no internal crises at Manchester United which have resulted to the club's poor performance since the start of the season but I must categorically say that Manchester United's current poor form is majorly caused by the managerial inabilities of Erik ten Hag. He is currently clueless on what to do to restore the club back to where they belong and if the club's management do not sack and replace him anytime soon, I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish at the bottom half of the English Premier League table.

I agree with you on this firstly as a Manchester United fan and secondly as someone who has been a lover of football. There are some many issues going on in the Manchester United team which is yet to be revealed but it's crystal clear to us now because first the club was to be sold out all of a sudden the news stopped popping up again because the current owners refuse to accept the offer that was made, secondly I think United coach Erik Ten hag is having some internal issues with his players wevsaw what happened between him and CR7, Jodan Sancho, Harry Maguire and others, that alone can affect the performance of the team because the players won't be playing with good heart since the coach is not good terms with some of their team mates.

For a change to take effect in the team there should be introduction of some new players and the team should let go of some players which are no longer contributing something good to the growth of the team. Manchester United has lost the old glory the team is not longer feared by the other teams because they have always been in poor form I think they only solution is either to change the coach or change most of the players.

Not only are they not benefiting but they are also damaging themselves by keeping Ten Haag as a coach.I am not saying he is a bad coach but at Manchester unless they are planning on keeping him as long as Sir Fergusson they should definitely fire him as a coach as they risk big with him.He did not well in a group stage with weak teams in Champions League,he is not doing well in the Premier League either and things are definitely not looking good for the remaining part of the season if Manchester keeps playing they way they have done so far.I would call a wise move if the management of United change the coach at these moments.

Todd Boehly is a good investor and good businessman with lots of money in his pocket but he is not a person with any knowledge about football or football management and we saw that in Chelsea when he made wrong decisions over and over. Todd Boehly spent a lot of money for Chelsea and he tried to improve the team but it seems he got the tool for improvement but he had no idea about how to use this tool to get the team improved.
In fact, the bad days for Chelsea started when Todd Boehly started his business there and before Todd Boehly they had a much better situation.

Well, I'm trying to find some information regarding injured United players. some reports, if Lisando Martines, Mason Mount, Malacia, Casemiro, have the same schedule they will rejoin on January 15th. at least, Ten Hag has another option with the recovery of several injured players. and if in the end the United players recover from their injuries, I am sure Ten Hag can return his squad to normal. I mean, they could potentially be back on track.
Talking about the match against Tottenham which will be held on January 14, Ten Hag can actually maximize his squad, especially in the title match at Old Trafford. at least by having a break, Ten Hag made good use of it to evaluate his squad. and based on temporary odds, United is more favored by the betting market. theoretically, that means United has a chance to overthrow Spurs. so, to be sure, let's just wait first. in fact, we can watch United play their match in the FA Cup first.

Manchester United's performance has been poor for the past few seasons. And the management has changed coaches several times to no avail. I think it will take a long time for Chelsea to rebuild their squad. This can start by bringing in a coach who is ready to build a team in the long term and also hundreds of millions of money to bring in several players that the coach wants. Manchester is a team that are in big problems, they have been in big problems for a very long time now and I am now thinking it's more than coaching problem. Manchester United may also have some internal problems from the owners and this can cause a drop in form as we have seen .
I think a lot of improvement needs to be made and it starts now. Manchester United can't continue going to every season with this problem, they have lost the pedigree of a big team and this has affected their mentality.

Which recovery phase?, If you see a team that is playing for performance improvement you would know, Manchester United is very far away from playing to recover. With Erik ten Hag as still the Man Utd's head coach, nothing would change even now or in the future.
