Last night in the Carabao Cup Liverpool got a narrow win against Fulham which I'm some how disappointed in the Fulham team who got the lead and later they lost concentration and Liverpool who wasn't doing well took advantage and won the game.
Fulham would have won the game last night because the made Liverpool to be in a confused state and you would agree with me that the reds could not play like they used to, wide play and causing opposition to fall back. Fulham just unlocked the secret of beating Liverpool which is giving them a man to man marking, hold the ball and even play those long balls like they used to do and taking control of the game, if Fulham continue doing that Liverpool would have lost it all in that game and they'll start looking for a different way of taking charge of the game and surely they'd be making silly mistakes. That was what Fulham did but they couldn't keep up that was when they lost control and lost the game.

It was a lucky game for Liverpool last night, how I wish Arsenal had played the way Fulham did against Liverpool I believe the Gunners would have won those two meetings they had but the Gunners lack so many things in that team, no striker who's hunger for goals and the midfield needs someone who's more physical to pair with Rice, but we all know how poor they played out against Liverpool.
Fulham's defense was very shakey last night and if they had gotten a stronger defense line I think Liverpool wouldn't have gotten that equalizer and even to win the game, let's see how the second leg would be like.
I can beat my chest and say that right now, the Gunners are are not fit to be compared with Fulham. Arsenal just know how to kill the hopes of fans and see the way Fulham played Liverpool last night, nearly frustrating Jurgen Klopp's men, I doubt Arsenal can do that and it was even at Anfield. Even though they lost, they showed Liverpool that they are just a team and nothing else. I also feel if they had continued to match pass for pass, shot for shot, they would have won the game by two goals instead of having it being turned against them.
We are slowly seeing Liverpool returning to that habit of coming from behind to win games but they will have to do better if they hope to win games. I mean you can't keep hoping to win a game by that pattern, what if your luck runs out? I'm very curious for how the second leg will look like.

Chelsea will have to sign a player who can play as a top nine and as an attacking midfielder so that they won't feel Nkunku's absence that much.
Who would that top nine be that's the question.  I don't know whether Chelsea's management would be going with Victor Osimhen to have him sign into the Chelsea squad since one of Chelsea's African legends "Drogba'' has advised Osimhen to come to Chelsea to make himself more known to the world.
We don't know if he would accept the offer to leave Napoli for Chelsea in this January transfer window. Fingers crossed anyway, in whatever decision he would like to take "to come to Chelsea or remain in Napoli"

I must say unfortunately that Nicolas Jackson has just no chemistry with Chelsea or the Premier League.  Sad  He is normally a really decent striker. You must be remembering his time at Villarreal before coming here. He was promising back then. But now he is having serious issues with finishing the attacks with goals at Chelsea mostly.

He can score more goals than this actually if he works harder but I don't know maybe he just can't adapt around here. However Chelsea has Nkunku back in the squad after an injury that lasted a very long time. I hope to see him taking the shirt from Jackson as much as possible.

Chelsea needs a center forward who has more quality, is established and can be relied on. if Phoce only relies on Nicolas Jackson as their goal getter, they will find it difficult to achieve their targets this season. I'm not saying that Nicolas Jackson is a sticker who lacks potential, but it seems that Chelsea needs a truly established player in their attack line. Meanwhile for Nicolas Jackson, maybe he needs adaptation and more flying hours to reach his level of play. after all, Nicolas Jackson is a young player, so there is still plenty of time to develop his talent.

At the same time, Poche needs more than that so that his squad can be consistent and win lots of wins. plus, achieved something they targeted this season. at least, Chelsea is one of the elite teams in the Premier League and it seems like finishing in the top four is their target. To be honest, I don't watch Chelsea games that often. however, referring to the statistics for each match, their performance is really unstable. IMO, Chelsea actually has several players who have quality and can be relied on, but not all of them. moreover, Chelsea is currently dominated by young players, at least they need established players. plus, Poche must try and find ways for his team to improve its performance. if not, his position as Chelsea coach will be at stake.

What made him promising? This is the so called striker that wants to replace Didier Drogba? How many La Liga league goals did he score last season with Villarreal? Go check and consider it once more if that should be seen as promising.
Nicholas Jackson anyways, is more of a better player for Chelsea when he plays on the wing. He did well recently when Pochetino Mauricio fixed him down that left wing.

He is not a good striker to lead the attack of Chelsea! Chelsea should go all out for Victor Oshime, they both need themselves.

Christopher Nkuku was reported out with a hip Injury, I don't know how long he'll be away, but he should be accessed by their club medical team.

Chelsea have been struggling with injury crisis lately, and it has affected their performance so far, they lost Nkunku sometimes ago,and were happy that he was back, but this news is coming again as a sad one that he has gone again due to injury.Nkunku is one important player that Chelsea has,but England is one place where they use strength to play football,if you don't have that strength, you will definitely be forced out because your opponents will get you injured.Chelsea will have to sign a player who can play as a top nine and as an attacking midfielder so that they won't feel Nkunku's absence that much.
Actually it was really quit unfortunate for chelsea to have been having injury issues but however I don't think the injury was the course of there poor performance because  right from the beginning of this season they have been inconsistent on there winings, the facts is that Chelsea is not ready to perform well on this season because with the kind of matches they have lose against smaller clubs this season is something to be surprise of, so perhaps they should just try and manage to come out as the top 6 or 7 of the premier League but still there chances is very low but let's see if they can be able to.

It doesn't matter about Liverpool's target in the Premier League because after all, if there is still a good chance of winning in other matches such as the Carabao Cup match against Fulham then yes, of course Liverpool will still make good efforts too. After all, even though Liverpool is placing high focus on the Premier League, it certainly doesn't make Liverpool weak in other competitions. Because as the team at the top of the Premier League standings, of course Liverpool will also continue to play well and maximize the opportunities they have in every match they play in all competitions.
It is not easy to maintain the performance of players to stay fit in several competitions, even though we know that Liverpool still have a chance to win the EPL title this season, but apart from that they also don't want to expect one title because if it can be more than that, why not as long as Jürgen Klopp can still manage player rotation well, everything will go well, even though there will be obstacles to getting it.

Liverpool must be able to maintain its consistency so that it is not easily lulled by winning results, because the journey is still quite long to win the EPL title this season because there is still Manchester City who will win it if Liverpool end up making a mistake, this is what drives Liverpool to also hunt for titles in other competitions. ongoing so that at least this season they get the title of champion in any championship, Carabao Cup and others. don't just focus on the EPL.  Wink
I really love what Liverpool are doing lately, nobody put them in the place they are now,we all thought it was just an initial gra gra,but now it's becoming clear to everybody that they are in for something very serious, they are not playing at all.The team spirit that always come in a tittle contending club is now in them, they don't want to lose any game.Last night was a typical example of how they wanted the season to be,when every body thought they have lost that one to Fulham, they still went on scoring two goals to win the game. They are really doing something incredible, and it will be very hard for Àrsenal,or Mancity to stop them.

Some players find it difficult to adapt to a new league, which is quite understandable and I think that's exactly what's happening to Nicolas Jackson. Maybe the league is too physical for him or the Chelsea pattern of play is not suitable for him.

Don't understand why they say Manchester City is no longer a strong team while still in the top 4? They also have one game left if they win they are only second then where is Manchester City not strong? It's a bit strange.
I also do not understand how people say Man City is no longer a strong team even though at this time they are in third place in the standings with one match they haven't played.

Indeed Manchester City have lost 3 times but the decline of this team does not mean it is not strong in theory this team is still tough and difficult to beat, I believe Pep Guardiola can still overcome this and be able to compete again with Liverpool even though they are a little behind points but they can still catch up.

Now the players have recovered including Kevin De Bruyne who has appeared, only Haaland is uncertain but I'm sure it won't be long and he can play.
Three defeats are a natural thing to happen in the Premier League and this does not show Man City as a weak club, on the contrary we can see how Tottenham who was previously unbeaten actually declined after getting his first defeat when facing Chelsea. Man City is still one of the champion candidates because the difference in points with the top of the standings is not far so there is still a great opportunity to pursue.

If you can choose, Haaland's injury is better than Kevin De Bruyne's because his role is quite big in the team. Without Haaland, Man City has a number of other strikers who can replace him, but the loss of Kevin De Bruyne is quite visible because he lost a player who was able to regulate the rhythm of the game.

Although the match was very competitive in the first half, Liverpool dominated the second half. And I would say it is possible because of coach Klopp. He tried to find the weaknesses in Fulham's defense in the first half. And in the second half he made a subtle change in his match strategy. Liverpool benefited from this. They stepped up their attack in the second half. A number of excellent attacks were made by Liverpool's players. And as a result, Fulham was unable to counter Liverpool's attacks even after playing defensive tactics. However, Liverpool were expected to win this match. However, although Fulham is a relatively weak team, their performance was quite organized.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp rotated a lot of players in this match but they managed to turn things around in the second half after being 1 goal behind in the first half and this proves that Liverpool's mentality is quite good and there was no significant decline in performance even though the team rotated a lot of players.
The rotation being made caused by some players were not able joining in the club. These players are salah and dijk. So, klopp put jota on salah's position. I was almost losing my hope by seeing how intensive attacking lines of arsenal threatening liverpool's defenders and goalkeeper but i were so happy at the end of game caused by liverpool was kicking arsenal out from FA cup. Glad to see that arsenal was bottling it again and again. The gunner fans were not feeling happy with that result and they are still questioning the performance from their favorite club till this time.

I don't think it was a big surprise for Liverpool to win, it was quite deserved regardless of how they achieved it and whatever happened in the match because the most important thing is the final result.
It was a big surprise if you were watching the game from the first half. It will not be a surprise if you were not watching full match or only through highlight from YT. The odds was pretty good for that match and liverpool made it. Arsenal never learnt from its past mistake.
Arteta was not also reminding his player to stop it. Im sure arsenal will be recording another worst record again like last season. Im ready to watch the club being blamed by its fans soon. Trophyless is real for arsenal.

Anthony Martial's future at Old Trafford is unclear because the French striker is rumored to be leaving if there is no clarity from Manchester United. So far his name has been rumored to be close to a French team, namely Marseille, and I think if the rumors are true then that could be a good option for him to return to France. We know that he has been a bench warmer for a long time and has at times looked less than comfortable under Erik Ten Hag.

However, news is circulating that there has not been an offer from Marseille and if there is, Manchester United will not reject the negotiation process and now Manchester United is waiting for an offer from another team that is interested in him. On the other hand, Anthony Martial also did not receive clarity regarding the new agreement from Manchester United, so it is increasingly clear that Manchester United will release him in the winter or even in the summer of June.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1745366687078076434
Actually Manchester United want to sell him this winter because Ten Hag hasn't make Martial as Manchester United main striker because for that position Ten Hag was more likely to trust Rasmus Hojlund and during this season Martial was often to played as substitution player and from 13 matches Martial in only scored 1 goals in Premier League so i have no wonder why Manchester United want to sell him besides that they required fresh funds to gets the players so Manchester United feel if they can sell Martial then they can used the money to bought new striker

The problem from Martial is although Ten Hag makes him as substitution player and Manchester United are not interested to extended his contract but Martial doesn't want to leave this team because he want to struggling hard to gets one place on Manchester United starting line up for each matches however if he want to considers to leave Manchester United i think it's not hard for him to find new clubs because besides Marseille Turkish club Fenerbahce and some of Saudi Arabian teams also reported showing their interest to him

Jackson was another failed transfer from chelsea. I could not understand what pochettino's consideration was to buy him from vilalreal. Jackson was not a good striker there and pochettino bought him with a lot of money, which is being so wasteful for the club.
The only good thing from him if he was still young and i see no good aspects of him. Jackson was lack of ball control even he can't do one tap. Chelsea has scammed by villareal to take him from la liga.

Didier jackson? seriously, this guy was not even worthy of being placed in the regular squad of club.
Unarguably Jackson has become the worst Chelsea signing that I can record till date, even worst than Lukaku. It's hard to tel what Porchettino's saw in him before accepting him, where there no test or observations of his performance. With a lot of new signing Chelsea is still at the buttom of the Premier league table, this is not appealing to the fans, we espect something better than this. Let it be they require time to fix themselves for a better performance.

Before start of this season expectations were too high about him but sadly now after end of the first half things are not looking as they needed, but now it's time to give him good support because he can bring positive results and consistency even this is not easy but still possible with players need to be more flexible and motivated if they want to do something good after frustrating lost in 1st leg of semi-final now things going more down for them but still time is into their side for having fight back.

They have the good number of quality players, but their body chemistry is not working, and their depth is also not as they need which is surely coach duty to bring better strategy and give better results now we have to wait for the remaining half of the season about them can they bring positive or again having another poor end.
Well the expectations were high because of the amount spent during the summer transfer window. You can’t spend quite a fortune and don’t have high expectation from the team. Now the first half of the season have ended and this team isn’t yet up to the standard that’s been expected but they’ve trued to get some crazy victories and drAw in matches they were written off. They fell on their first leg of the Semis for the Carabao cup but can surely get back on their feet at the return leg.

Poch have got lots of work to do in building the chemistry of these players because they’re pretty good and quality but need to have a sweet chemistry between them to attain success, else they'll end up getting him sacked, he has to know the right players to feature in each match and know the right players to bring in, that's if he's not sacked before next summer.

I haven't heard from Martial for a long time. In the past, he was a great player who was said to be going to write his name in history. But now his career is ruined at Manchester United. I think it would be better if he chose to leave United like Sancho did. Returning to Dortmund is the right choice if you want to develop. And Martial's move to a French club I think will earn him a place in the starting lineup. At least it could save his career because he has wasted a lot of time at United.

The point is that the final result of last night's match was that Liverpool put up less than complete resistance even though their main target was to win the Premier League this season, even though this match was not really expected by Liverpool, at least the two clubs were able to provide an exciting spectacle for all their respective supporters. .

When people say Chelsea don't have a stricker I laugh, was it not Pochettino that brought Jackson to Chelsea? Or is Jackson not a stricker? You can't spend such money on a player and still complain that you don't have a stricker. That being said Chelsea have lost their focus, if it was the Chelsea of those days what kind of defense did Middlesbrough played that they can't break?
Pochettino brought Jackson to Chelsea to fix the striker problem face by the club but up to till now we have not see any impact of him because a good strike should be mentioned in every match they played, my own reason is that I am not satisfied with what is playing mean he is not serving is purpose, take a look at Jude Bellingham in real Madrid he is not a striker but the way he was just scoring goals people started to called in that, despite I knew he is a Midfielder I was still expecting goal from him. This what I expected to see with Jackson but he is not encouraging me at all.

Most definitely that first goal from Williams really gave Liverpool a bleeding nose in the first half, the absence of Salah too was also a major effect on the Liverpool side and it was obvious, that why we've been complaining about the fact that jurgen klopp building the team around M.Salah will not help matters, although his absence gave room for other players like Diogo Jota and Gakpo to always attempt a shot the ball with the intention to score,  that consistent pressure helped them to equalize and later win the game. Though Fulham pulled up a good fight, but they couldn't hold it any longer at the second half.
Liverpool is only leading one goal, they're not really in secure position. The upcoming match it will happen in Fulham's home, so Liverpool need to prepare for that. We shouldn't forget Fulham was humiliating both West Ham and Notthingham Forrest with 5 goals.

Let's see what will happen, I think it's interesting to bet on the semi finals match because we might see an upset.

Yes, it must be admitted that Fulham's achievements in the previous match showed that they were able to score lots of goals and provide difficult resistance to their opponents.
Liverpool as a top team still has the quality and experience that can make them appear strong,
Even though the second match was held at Fullham's home ground, Liverpool were not easy to beat. With the rotation of players in each competition carried out well by coach Kloop, the balance between players works well, so Liverpool can go far in the League Cup. , FA Cup and of course with excellence. EFL League,
So in my opinion Liverpool could win in all three competitions, although Liverpool could give up one competition such as the League Cup to concentrate on the EFL, because of the 3 competitions the EFL is the most important.
