Arsenal were on top of the league for a few weeks but now find themselves at 4th, after losing to Fulham, away. It's still a very tight title race though with both Liverpool(a game in hand) and Aston Villa at 42 points and Arsenal, Man City at 40. Spurs are at 39 points, right behind them. Most teams are having an injury crisis and with players going in for international duty, there's going to be a lot of drama and change, in the coming weeks.
Arsenal getting exposed right, left, and center. With the low scoring forwards they have, I don't think they will be able to compete for the title vs. City. Forget about the defense, they are clearly lacking a-25-goals-a-season center forward
Liverpool also have a disadvantage with Salah going to the AFCON. If City don't come out by the end of January at the top of the table, I will be very surprised.

The management needs to kick ten hag out of the club. It's a subject that people mock and joke about. it has been shocking for people to see how MU was bottling it anytime. Indeed, it is very unfortunate, because Arsenal have lost again to middle-class clubs in a row. Yesterday's 2 - 1 defeat against Fulham was disappointing again, after their previous defeat. Even though here, Arsenal was ahead in scoring a goal in the first 5 minutes. but unfortunately after that, they were unable to score another goal, in fact the situation was reversed and they were the ones who conceded 2 goals after that. And what is quite unfortunate is that as usual, they are quite good at ball possession but are not able to attack it well. This is really lame. And it is indeed quite similar to last season's scenario where Arsenal's performance decreased even more when they were in the middle of the season. and they are now only at the fourth posiiton. 
Tottenham just did their homework and won their game against a Bournemouth which was in a great shape having won most of their games recently and only today they were stopped.
Totenham was dominating its opponents and no doubt that it was able scoring three goals unlike arsenal which was losing another three points which is making the club goes down again. We will be seeing the competition from liverpool and manchester city. I have not seen arsenal potentially to be a competitor for manchester city and liverpool. City is now surpassing arsenal and it has the same points like the gunner. It surprises me how aston villa and arsenal were bottling it.
Have time, Tottenham has led the Premier League rankings after 10 rounds. Coach Ange Postecoglou helped them transform this season. But the absence of critical players caused Tottenham to decline gradually. Can they return to the race, when liverpool vs man city is coming back strongly.

Arsenal lost to Fulham, a shock to everyone right? I don't belief they would lose to any competitive mediocre club this season, not when they're in for good shape to win significant matches, it's rather dissappointing for Arsenal to fall out of race to achieve their main targets, really poor expectations from the club. The overhyped Arsenal is now struggling to win matches, not just any game but against mediocre clubs, it's absurd. Mikel Arteta might be queried by the board because the situation is blowing out of hand and there's something really messy about the club. That is right, but when you check the statistics of the game, obviously Luton Town wasn't significantly worse than Chelsea, but they have been less efficient with their chances and that made the difference for the first 80 minutes of the game. However, once Luton was able to score their first goal, it was once again the same Chelsea as we have got to know it in the last weeks. They don't have the quality to bring that win home safely without any danger. It was close in the end and giving away a lead of three goals would have been catastrophic.
On the other hand, Chelsea made a little mistake with their caution especially at the crucial time which did make a little worry for me as a spectator
The result is quite good Chelaea closed the half season with 2 consecutive wins for them and we just have to see if Pochettino can maintain this momentum in the current conditions that the EPL will break for 2 weeks because it could be a pause like this is beneficial or it will be detrimental to Chelsea because their momentum is a little lost in the end.
But that's the problem I think for Chelsea and Pochettino. The club bosses finally want to see Chelsea win games with ease again when they play against opponents from the bottom of the table. A 3-0 would have been alright, but making it risky in the end and allowing Luton Town to get back into the game and get their chances to equalize the game was bad. Chelsea is not a world class team that knows how to play this smart.

Nketiah was able to shoot 2 shots but none of them were on target and I think they were weak in the last two matches in their attack line. Only Saka performed well and I think Saka just needs more suitable partners for the second half of this season. I think Arteta must understand this situation as well as possible because they need a striker like Haaland who is hungry for goals in every game.

It is difficult to sign a good footballer in the winter transfer window. But Osimhen could be a good candidate for them. Arsenal held the ball but could not take advantage of it. No speed or threat was created. Arsenal is confused and needs to regain confidence. This loss was the wake-up call they needed. They are clearly off track at this point. Arsenal need to strengthen the striker position but must be creative.

Arsenal memes I was watching all over the Instagram fun pages and I thought what is funny with Arsenal this year as they are in a good form.Only now I saw the result of the games as I was celebrating New Year and they were right as Arsenal has lost against Fulham.I can understand losing against a Fulham that was doing great before but in fact they lost 3-0 in the last game I think or something similar,they were not in a good form and now Arsenal is the meme of the end of the year.

You can't compare last season Liverpool with Manchester United and Klopp with ten Hag. The difference between them couldn't be bigger. Liverpool has played some of the best soccer the global audience has ever seen when they finished the Premier League with 99 points in 2019/2020 or with 92 points in 2021/2022. You also can't compare Klopp with ten Hag. Klopp is a thousand times better than ten Hag. Klopp doesn't have issues dealing with superstars while ten Hag has a problem with his ego. I have never seen Klopp treating his players the same way as ten Hag does it.
Ten hang has got so much ego and he obviously protects it at all cost even at some point to the detriment of the teams achievement as obviously see in his attitude with the way he relates to players in his squad. The players seem to to have that atmosphere around them that supports their performance as provided by the coach, but with klopp hardly a time will there be complains of him having issues with his team players, he rather tries his best to bring out the very best in them. Ten hag would have been a good coach if only he works on his character with his players.

I just wanted to let you know that it means "I couldn't agree more". Klopp is in his own league and ten Hag isn't even close to that. I doubt that any of the big clubs, which has the potential to win the Champions League, would try to get ten Hag as a coach. He can be lucky that Manchester United wanted him, but now everyone can see the results of his methods and that is not the best marketing for himself.

In the last 7 games, they could only win one... they dont win a championship with that serie. Okay, one of those games was in the Champions League. They are only 2 points away from first place, but they could have been on first place with many points und front. Now Liverpool are the best team in the Premier League in 2023, followed by Aston Villa, which nobody would have predicted before the season. Matchday 21 is on January 13 in 2024 and until then there is some rest except for the two games tomorrow and on Tuesday.
Liverpool is the best English team in 2023 but this is just the first half of the season and there would be more upsets and big surprises to follow in the second half of the season. I just hope that Liverpool can keep up with the level of consistency they've had so far this season. We'd get more better results as long as we reduce the number of games that we go behind first before trying to fight for a comeback.

After the matches played by Arsenal and tottenham, we have seen a fiercer atmosphere from the 5 teams at the top of the standing because the points difference is very close to each other this season. Well, Manchester City has the opportunity to return to leading the standing after the league resumes in mid-January because there is a lot of good news coming from them, such as the return of Kevin De Bruyne, who is believed to be able to make Manchester City even stronger.
