Manchester was lucky last night to be frank. They are still unbeaten on boxing day since 1978. Coming from behind to defeat Aston Villa is one of their biggest wins in this season. Hojlund finally had his first game in the premier league and Garnacho had a double. Quite a good record for Manchester United yesterday. Because it has been a long time, they had a good win and this time to came back from nothing and won the match with a well stunning performance in the second half.

No one thought that Manchester United would be able to win the match over Aston Villa even though in the first half Aston Villa appeared to be ahead with 2 goals and many thought that Aston Villa would be able to win this match by sealing their victory in the first half. But it turned out that Manchester United was able to attack came back in the second half by creating their first lead through Garnacho in the 59th minute and equalizing in the 71st minute by the same player, Aston Villa started to get confused and wanted to score their 3rd goal but Manchester United were able to maintain their defense strongly and finally Hojlund scored the 3rd goal for Manchester United was also the winner and the match ended. Manchester United managed to get full points.
I'm truly amazed by what Mu achieved in this match. I think many people put their money on Aston Villa, and they must have lost it  Grin. After the first half, nobody thought Mu could equalize, let alone end the game with a victory. Mu presented a completely different attacking style, like a storm, but what they did differently from before was effectiveness. Garnacho had a stellar day with a brace, and especially Hojlund broke his Premier League goal drought. I believe Aston Villa might have been a bit complacent and somewhat surprised by Mu's strong comeback when they were leading by two goals. I sense a heavy burden on the shoulders of Mu players, the pressure from the fans and from their coach Ten Hag. When the pressure is alleviated, Mu can play brilliantly again.

Man United will play against Nottingham Forest in the next match and I think this will be a fierce battle for they both. If once again Man United can play well (as a solid team) and get a win, I think that could be a way for Man United to shine again.
I would not be surprised if Manchester United won against Aston Villa who are in 3rd place in the standings at the moment. After a series of bad results, of course Manchester United must be able to win the match against Aston Villa, who in the last few matches have not been defeated and Manchester United was behind in the first half. 2 goals but finally in the second half Manchester United were able to change the style and tempo of the game so they could turn things around 3-2 and at the same time show their fans that Manchester United could win.

I think this victory was due to prestige at home so that Manchester United was able to recover in the second half, but I'm still not sure if they play against clubs that are below them, usually they often lose and always underestimate their opponents which in the end often loses points, against Nottingham Forest it's also worth watching out for. because they beat Newcastle too today.

That was unexpected, but Ten Hag saved his ass. Poor Emery couldn't do anything against this. Aston Villa thought they won the match but Højlund reminded them the game is 90 minutes. Good for him as well, first league goal at the exact right time!
Aston Villa could be the leader but they missed a great chance. Surely they will learn from this but now it's though for them to pick up where they left off. They have to make 4 wins in a row with that fixture but their morale would be pretty low after today.
What a come back for Manchester United, this is unbelievable because I was totally discourage immediately Aston villa scored their two goals and I know how good they are I decided to stop watching because it was annoying even though I knew that Aston villa are capable of winning the match. Erik Ten Hag mind will be at rest and will be planning on how to focus on the their next game against Nottingham forest, Nottingham forest played a surprise game this weekend by winning Newcastle united in St James' Par. Now Aston villa have lose the three points, this is a bad luck for them because if Tottenham Hotspur will win their match tomorrow with at least 3 goals to nothing definitely they will over throne Aston villa while Manchester City are still having their outstanding too, if played and win the will move to third place. So Unai Emery really have a lot to do because competing in top four is not and easy thing to do, so he have to come up with many and new strategy to tackle his defence line to avoid this type of error.

Newcastle is seriously a mess on me today. They really spoil things for me. They started well with a leading goal not until Nottingham get a draw very close to the end of first half. I never expected a victory from Nottingham. I think something is wrong inside the Newcastle team. Their losing trend is now something to seriously watch out for.
Newcastle united have given Nottingham forest hope of winning after winning villa since 5th November when the  lost almost 7 games and Newcastle united decide to give them hope, this is also surprising because I know Newcastle united has not been trying in away match this days but I don't expect Nottingham forest will be the one to tackle them, in their last five matches the only won one match truly the is a big disappointments for the club like Newcastle united, their performance are very poor which the have to improve.

I admit that this match was certainly beyond many people expectations because Man United managed to emerge as the winner. even though Aston Villa have been very aggressive this season with  some good performances, it seems like we are quite confident of being able to overcome Man United game. on the other hand things turned around and this  result certainly gave the  Man United players a little hope especially Hojlund whose goal was his first  goal in the Premier League after playing  for Man United for so long.

There are many matches that are still open so if you want to be in the top 4 you have  to maximize performances like this consistently. It's just that Erik Ten Hag cannot be satisfied just yet. This season many matches have  been wasted due to unstable playing  conditions.

Of course, with this phenomenal victory, Erik Ten Hag, don't be too complacent because sometimes Manchester United enjoys their pleasure too much so that in the next match they are unable to perform optimally and suffer defeat. I hope that with this victory, Manchester United will be on a better path than before.

But if you look back at the match it was very exciting and very exciting, I regret it because I bet on Aston Villa, but even so it was fun because the sensation it gave was great.

At the beginning of the first half I felt proud and boasted that Manchester United would get a defeat and could mock my friend again but the second half spoke differently, Ten Hag and his squad returned the situation and got a 3-2 victory for Manchester United, when the match was over I was bullied by my colleague. LOL

For this season I think it will be very difficult for aston villa to lead because the competition is still tight, but I think for the position in the top 5 of the standings at the end of the season aston villa can maintain it.
Honestly I blame Unai Emery for losing this game. I bet everybody tipped Aston Villa to win that game owing to the fact that they’ve been in great form and that Manchester United came into this fixture having failed to score in their last four games – the defeats to Bournemouth, Bayern Munich and West Ham, and the draw at Liverpool.

And the worst of it was that they haven’t been playing well in these games and even more damning was the fact, in those four games, they managed a grand total of eight shots on target, which is quite staggering for a club so synonymous with attacking football.
Anyways it’s good news for Manchester United as they’ve picked up 3 points against a strong Villa side. The most interesting thing is that Hojlund scored and it’ll be good if he builds on it.

We really have to see Man United in the next matches. If they continue to win in the next few matches then maybe we can say that Man United is starting to become consistent again. But if it turns out that Man United failed to win in the next matches then of course that is a sign that Man United has not changed at all.
Congratulating seems fair enough for Man United. They performed pretty well with the struggle. After losing 2 goals they were able to turn things around with 3 goals. The art of today's game they were quite good. But I don't believe this is a rising moment yet. Because some victories like this they have won but then they performed poorly again. Perhaps this gives a bit of security to Ten Hag temporarily because he will not be sacked anytime soon.

Indeed, we have to look at Manchester United's next match against Nottingham Forest. Of course, Nottingham Forest is currently performing well because we can see that Nottingham Forest was able to win the match against New Castle with a score of 1-3 and C. Wood's performance was great because he scored 3 goals. So I think Nottingham Forest cannot be considered trivial even though they are currently ranked 16th and indeed if Manchester United always consistently wins in the upcoming matches then it can be said that Manchester United has risen and will compete with other strong teams. Yes, if Manchester United doesn't win the next match then I think Manchester United must improve its performance, but I think Manchester United's performance will be even better in the next match.

Yes, congratulations to Manchester United for their victory against Aston Villa. It is indeed worth saying and I think that after losing to West Ham, Manchester United has now improved itself and I also see that Erik Ten Hag is now very good at making strategies. Yes, I think that Erik Ten Hag can do it. make Manchester united perform well. I think there is a chance that Erik ten Hag will not be fired.

After Garnacho scored two goals in the game yesterday, I think Manchester United will realise that he is a talented young player who they should try to keep on the team. Hojlund then scored the game's final goal, his first Premier League goal since joining the team, and if Manchester United keeps playing like this, it will benefit the team and even make their fans happy.

Actually, Aston Villa is also good, currently they are in the top 3. So I didn't crumb them at the beginning. Being 2 goals behind already makes me feel sad. But the changes Ten Hag made in the 2nd half were quite good. At least they didn't lose again. Garnacho and Hojlund became key players. They were able to perform optimally in round 2. This condition is quite good after 4 losses for Man United. But this result does not give a good picture for the next game. Man United is still in an unstable state.

A very valuable victory for Man United and Rasmus Hojlund. I agree with you, this victory does not necessarily indicate that Man United has risen because as we know their performance has been inconsistent so far. There are times when they win and make a surprise but when they get the expectations of many people, Man United often plays badly and loses to the teams whose level is far below them.

Man United will play against Nottingham Forest in the next match and I think this will be a fierce battle for they both. If once again Man United can play well (as a solid team) and get a win, I think that could be a way for Man United to shine again.

Manchester United made an impressive move that surprised many spectators today, Manchester united gave a good fight in their match with aston villa, the visitors put up an impressive outplay in the beginning of the match, but unfortunately the couldn't maintain the lead film the end of the match, first half of this game was dominated by Aston villa and the dominance helped them to win the first half of the the match with 2:0, ordinarily, this first half result is suppose to give them a winning in the entire match but they failed to defend the goal and allowed Manchester United to bounce back, Manchester united was favoured in this match, I didn't see this coming, what an impressive performance by Manchester United, at least a little gap has been closed in respect to their league position.

Congratulations to Manchester United! It's good to congratulate Manchester United because it becomes unexpected when a team in poor form wins a game. To be honest, I wasn't expecting Manchester United to win the game again because they had already defeated them by scoring a goal in the first half of the match, and United isn't a good enough team for everyone to think they can win a game after losing by a goal in the first half. Manchester United makes a sincere effort because they play an unexpected game that nobody anticipates.

After Garnacho scored two goals in the game yesterday, I think Manchester United will realise that he is a talented young player who they should try to keep on the team. This match was a historic day for Rasmus Hojlund because it was the first time he scored a goal in the Premier League and the proud thing is that goal which was the decisive victory for Man United. It's not a guarantee that he will start scoring goals again, but at least it will be a motivation for him and increase his self-confidence.
Yeah, Hojlund is really happy after he scored a goal, it's really surprising how they can overcome from lagging behind of 2 goals. I thought the match was an easy for Aston Villa. Since Manchester United won against Aston Villa and Nottingham Forrest won against Newcastle United, the next match will be interesting since Manchester United will meet Nottingham Forrest.
Villa can't keep the rythm and this is the main reason why villa was declining so hard during the second half. Im not even expecting manchester united to create dramatic comeback. Manchester united was performing so well during the match. I think that this win is really motivating the club to play even better but it seems like that we will be seeing another decling to happen with manchester united. This pretty much the same like when MU was winning against chelsea in the past. Manchester united is only winning against aston villa and this can't be said that if MU has been back again to the its best performance.

According to head to head, Manchester United won all the five matches.
MU is still keep it to have perfect head to head against aston villa. Villa was able beating almost all of big clubs but dramatic comeback from manchester united was obviously hurting aston villa. It seems this result is going to give an impact to the performance from aston villa's players in the future.
Rashford is once again performing so poorly and i think that he shall not become starting line up. It seems like ten hag was changing garnacho's position to the antony's position. It surprises me he played as RW.

Ten hag may be focusing to use the same strategy for the upcoming match. He feels so confidence with the current strategy. Antony may not get a spot in the main squad.

I thought when J.mc ginn scored a goal in the 21st minute and L. Dendoncker in the 26th minute it would make Manchester United's mentality drop and they would lose performance, but Manchester United's match against Aston Villa was really surprising because in the end Manchester United was able to get goal back. against Aston Villa by scoring 3 goals and finally Manchester United won the match and this time Erik Ten Hag was really great at making a strategy that finally made Manchester United recover, but Unai Emery couldn't make Aston Villa's performance better in the second half.

Yes, I bet on Aston Villa winning but failed because my prediction was wrong.

It's true, as people say, sometimes Manchester United always gives surprises in matches, such as against Chelsea which ended with a score of 2-1 for Manchester United's victory and at that time many people thought that Manchester United would lose, but in reality, at the end of the match, Manchester United could increase the score and finally Manchester United won the match. Yes, now Manchester United has risen to 6th place. I'm sure now no one will underestimate Manchester United.

Man United's rise in the second half actually reminded me a bit of Man United's performance last season, which also always rose in the second half of the match. I don't know if it's just a coincidence or not. But Man United did this quite often last season. Now I'm starting to think that maybe Man United will make comebacks like this more often from now on. Erik Ten Heh must be able to maintain the performance that Man United showed in the second half. And don't let Man United make mistakes and play badly like in the first half.
It is like Manchester United in the past season and also similar to Arsenal in the last season. We talked too much about come backs of Arsenal even they got one or two conceded goals first and said like it is a power of deserved champion of the league.

Later Arsenal failed to repeat such come backs and they lost Premier League title to Manchester City. I see come backs are great and very exciting but as a team, they must tighten their defense system and avoid as less as possible matches when they have to chase opponents and hunt for equalizer then winning goal. It is never easy to make a come back especially if you get two conceded goals first.

Isn't this a normal condition when a surprise comes for a small team at the bottom of the standings and Burnley victory at that time was lucky because Fulham made a mistake and surprises won't come twice like today which was defeated by Liverpool and this is a natural incident because Burnley the team that is in bottom of the standings without having strong performance while Liverpoo has much stronger performance than Burnley.
Burnley failed to have a point from Liverpool but they succeeded to maintain only one conceded goal and keep up their hope to have a point until very last minutes when Diogo Jota finalized the match for Liverpool.

This defeat is predictable for Burnley because Liverpool are simply very stronger than Burnley and they also have very good form recent weeks.

Yes, I agree that Man United sometimes gets careless when facing weak teams. So the next match against Nottingham is still difficult to predict. But if the Man United squad maintains their current performance like in the second half yesterday when they faced Aston Villa. So I think beating Nottingham is no longer difficult. But the problem is that Man United is inconsistent. They might win this match. But it could be that you will lose painfully in the next match.

One match is not enough to prove that Man United is making comeback. What I can see here is still about inconsistency, if they can play consistently in the next several matches then we can say that they are coming back. Although make a good comeback against Villa after they were down by 2 goals, but we cant deny that there is still big problem in Man United. This result is surprising obviously because I believe most people predicted that Villa will beat Man United. The same situation at the time before the match between Liverpool vs Man United. On the other match, when United against Bournemouth and Westham, most people think that United will get at least 1 point but in fact they were defeated.
Indeed, we cannot make a conclusion that Man United has improved just because of their victory in the match against Aston Villa. Because in the match against Aston Villa, Man United actually played very badly in the first half. They only improved in the second half. So in that match alone we could even see that Man United was inconsistent. That is, they played badly at the start but then got better. Meanwhile, if a team has really improved then they should also play well from the first half.

We really have to see Man United in the next matches. If they continue to win in the next few matches then maybe we can say that Man United is starting to become consistent again. But if it turns out that Man United failed to win in the next matches then of course that is a sign that Man United has not changed at all.

Liverpool managed to win and get full points in today match, of course this makes them back at the top of the standings even though they still have 2 point difference from Arsenal.

Damn Aston Villa lost to Manchester United at Old Trafford with score of 3 - 2, the match made me lose some money and of course was very disappointing.
In the first half, Aston Villa managed to lead by 2 goals and there was already calm about this advantage, but when entering the second half, the situation changed quite drastically with Manchester United starting to dominate the game and scoring 3 goals.
It was an unexpected match and of course due to this defeat Aston Villa lost 3 points and failed to take second place.

Now Arsenal still has match that will take place next Friday against West Ham, if Arsenal manages to win this match then they can return to first place and of course the standings will return to normal.
Moreover, this match is home match for Arsenal which means they have an advantage and have big chance of winning it.

EPL sometimes is just funny because I can't see that force Burnley had against Fulham that they beat them 0-2 but could not get single shot on target against Liverpool, like what's going on with Burnley? I was expecting Burnley to make things very hard for Liverpool because that win over Fulham should have given them that motivation to even get at least a goal and make the Liverpool goalkeeper to be busy.
Klopp and his boys had 95% of the ball and I was expecting to see Liverpool bring that style they played against Arsenal. I believe if Liverpool continue with this same style of play, I don't see them getting close to the top 2 or even winning the league, the performance was too poor against a struggling Burnley.

In this season, if we understand it, it's a bit ridiculous that a team like Man City has dropped to 5th place, whereas above Man City there is a team that is actually not very strong and has unstable consistency. It's just that when Man City experienced a decline, the 3 teams above them no longer had strong opponents so they could appear a little more consistent and Liverpool achievements are likely to put strong pressure on Arsenal because so far they have tried but Liverpool has surprisingly also improved their performance.
competition becoming more competitive and it very interesting to continue to see developments in the EPL.
