Basically, because Newcastle got the goal first then ya, at least that goal which Newcastle got first made Newcastle satisfied by reducing the pressure. But in reality, Nottingham managed to get a goal back in the last minute of the first half and thus, perhaps Newcastle still thought they would be able to score another goal in the second half.

But yes, what happened was that Chris Wood scored quick goals again and again at the beginning of the second half until Chris Wood got a hat-trick in the match, who would have thought. So ya, because in the 60th minute, Nottingham was leading with a score of 1-3 then ya, ofcourse, Nottingham just needed to maintain this winning result by playing more defensively . Unfortunately, it looks like Newcastle maybe have underestimated Nottingham because Nottingham are in the bottom zone of the Premier League standings, and of course this big defeat was quite a surprising result too.

Wood played truly magnificently. We have to congratulate him. I didn't think they would play such an easy match against Newcastle United. And they achieved this on the road. It was a big game for Wood and Nottingham. Despite scoring the first goal, Newcastle suffered a heavy defeat.

Epl matches played so far were entertaining,it seems they were no hangovers from Christmas party for the players,they turned up..I still see Manchester United and Aston villa producing similar goal scoring and entertaining match..but Burnley and Liverpool might be cagey,Burnley needs point to survive,thou they did incredibly well in their previous match,we'll see if they can stop this Liverpool attack. If they can it will be such a great feet,at this point iven a point is  a win.

But I think tomorrow games might be somehow cagey,I don't see a lot of goals in the matches..I will predict draw between Chelsea vs Crystal Palace.. draw also in Everton vs Manchester City. And then a win for Watford over Brentford. May be a 1:0 scoreline.

This is a match that is difficult to predict. In terms of performance, Man United is experiencing a downward shape, while Aston Villa looks quite consistent and has quite an impressive performance this season, So statistically Aston Villa has a greater chance of winning than Man United. But because this match will be held at Old Trafford, then Man United will have an advantage. So I think it will not be easy for Aston Villa to beat Man United.

Newcastle is in danger of dropping to 9th place if Manchester United and Brighton are able to win the match in the 19th game. This position is certainly not ideal for Newcastle, which managed to finish in the top four last season.

The match between Luton and Sheffield is quite interesting because they do not want to lose points in this match especially since their strength is equal so they will try everything to get points because even 1 point is very valuable for them especially since both clubs are currently still not too safe because they are in the relegation zone and I think it is likely that this 1 point can still happen.
Currently the time has entered the crucial time where both clubs must be tired and slowly losing concentration so they will try to find 1 point rather than having to miss a goal in this crucial minute.The 2-2 scoreline is very good and I like the way the game turned out today.

I just want to see Manchester United later because I wonder what Ten Hag will do after the series of defeats that always befall them especially this is old trafford so it will be very painful if they have to lose again in this match.

Exactly I wasn't expecting Nottingham Forest to beat Newcastle at home since Newcastle has been playing well this season and I feel they will beat Nottingham Forest at St James' Park if they can break through their defense. Nottingham Forest perform very well and deserve to win the game, what a fantastic comeback! I believe that their new coach will benefit them greatly because he has begun to show his abilities against Newcastle and their next match is against Manchester United, which I believe will be a competitive game because Manchester United is not in good form and will most likely lose against Nottingham, because the way I see them playing against Newcastle they will defeat Manchester United, and the manager is optimistic, is performing well and am very sure he won't go to the relegation zoom.

Manchester United and Aston Villa are playing tonight, who do you think will win? Because Manchester United are playing at home they can win or draw the game, because anyone has advantage at home and he can likely favor them and draw against Aston Villa, but if they are talking about quality players and performance, I believe Aston Villa have the opportunity to defeat them and I believe anything can happen, because I know Aston Villa will not like to lose against Manchester United because they want to be at the top of the league table before Arsenal plays West Ham.

Looking at the current odds, I am actually quite hesitant if I want to bet on one of the current clubs even though the odds are quite promising.
Manchester United's erratic situation, especially in terms of scoring goals, makes me uncertain about Manchester United but on the other hand they also don't want to lose the match at Old Trafford, of course, which makes this even more difficult to predict even though their performance has not been too good until now.
On the other hand, Aston Villa could have surprised at Old Trafford but with the situation and the draw they had in the previous week even though they were the favorites at that time made me also dare not be too high to speculate on Aston Villa in this match.

From the bottom of the English Premier League table it is somehow difficult to understand what is happening in that zone. Fulham is another club that I do not know how to describe them. I am really sure something is not good at the bottom part of the English Premier League this season. There will be a lot of interesting activities in the coming weeks from this clubs that are in the relegation zone.

By getting a penalty does not go smoothly as expected at home, I myself did not expect that Newcastle had to lose this badly as the beginning of Newcastle's chaos which has begun to decline in performance while for Nottingham Forest as an underdog team always gives unexpected things and indeed small EPL teams are always difficult to guess so this is the surprise.
We know that the weak teams in the English league are still unpredictable, what I do is bet on Newcastle which is believed to win, but this is a little risk taken because Nottingham Forest will lose so I call this unexpected.

 They lost their last game to West Ham, although away from home so I want to believe that they may be able to make a turn around impact and get the 3pounts in the game today since for Villa, they've had unending wins in their home ground and today they'll be playing away from home. I'm really quite convinced that it definitely won't be easy for United, even if Villa makes it easy for them, the defected team coordination of the Red side will come into play and the players would just turn out to be less productive. They should bear in mind that Villa is a side that doesn't trade any slight chance or opportunity they get to run ahead in a counter and produce a goal for themselves. Let's see how United will keep up with today's game. Hopefully, they won'tet themselves down in their home ground.

Newcarle was the first to score. I know they will start jubilating thinking they will win the game and it is very possible because Newcastle are good and it takes wisdom and strategy to win them don't just underestimate them even in this match they will have full confidence of smoking forest and in the end they were the one who got smoked and it was a good effort coming from forest because they were the last person I expected them to win and during the extra time they equalized. The game ended 1:1 in the first half hopping that Newcastle will do more to win the game in the remaining 45 minutes but Nottingham forest re-organized themselves in the second half by started changing the game for them to added another 2 goals to win the game 1:3 to escape relegation.

What happened in this game Newcastle vs Nottingham forest will surely happen in the Burnley home today to change the game for Liverpool to take the victory from Liverpool because, I know many people will focus on Liverpool in this game but based on the Burnley arrangements in this game show that the 2 teams will secure goals from this game but Burnley will beat Liverpool 3:2 to move to another level.

I never imagined Newcastle United would perform so badly. How the team at the top of the points table lost 1-3, Newcastle United could not succeed despite attacking more. When comparing the quality of the squad, it is evident that Sheffield has a higher level than Luton. However, the result of the match became unpredictable when Luton managed to score the first goal against Sheffield. It reminds me when luton destroy newcastle with huge scores.
The chance to survive from the relegation zone is still there as long as luton will able to gather three points from this match. Im not underrating it but sheffield played so badly in this game. It has less goal attempts compared to the luton
It appears to me that there are approximately 20 minutes left before additional time and it seems that if Luton manages to win the game against Sheffield, the outcome may change. Sheffield looks like very poor in front of luton.
Luton has been growing and show significant improvement happened to the club.

Wood is the outstanding MOTM against Newcastle, he single-handedly scored an hattrick and served as a main fierce threat for Newcastle throughout the whole game. I would say it was never an easy run for Nottingham Forest but they were able to conquer till the very last minute. Nottingham Forest was not afraid of the Magpies as they calmed the whole pressure at St James Park today. The home team were relentless after been the side to hit the net first, Isak took the deservable penalty and Newcastle led 1 nil and couldn't hold on much longer after the visitors pressured and nets an equalizing goal to make the scores 1-1. The second half belong to Nottingham Forest because they were too desperate for goals and the ended up netting quite significant goals to them infront.
