There could be an opportunity for Aston Villa to take the lead in the standings by this week. Because while Liverpool are hosting Arsenal in a really challenging game Aston Villa have a very comfortable home game against Sheffield Utd. I expect a really easy win for Aston Villa considering how much they are in form these days. Nothing below is acceptable for them now.
They are going to play their game before the Liverpool - Arsenal game as well which means they will probably take the lead temporarily already. Like I said before I feel like Liverpool will win against Arsenal at Anfield. But if we get a draw then congrats to Aston Villa on their lead.
Liverpool will have to be at their best to beat this in-form Arsenal side. They’re are tough and very formidable when play at Anfield. Their game against Manchester United ended in a draw and I think it has given Arsenal a morale to want to get a point or more when they play this weekend. I just hope for Arsenal to play well and take their chances...This Liverpool team is there for the taking, couldn't produce anything against an 11 man Crystal palace for 71mins, was poor against an out of sort Manchester United at home. So I don’t feel Liverpool will beat Arsenal.
Aston Villa will be hoping on a draw against these two sides to go top of the table. But I don’t think i Liverpool will want to drop another point this weekend after they dropped two against Manchester United. On the other hand, Arsenal are on a course, they will want to take all 3 points and stay at the top of the table till next year. So if Liverpool replicates the kind of performance they had against Manchester United, Arsenal will have all 3 points.
Well, judging by what you say, yes, you are right, but Arsenal is very comfortable there in first place in the PL, leaving City far Behind and far behind in 7th Place, an MU that Really does not I see a future for him , in this case I see that Aston Villa does anything to maintain itself, which seems to me to be a careful team, I would take great care of Myself because they are a team that at any time between a Salah and a Dizaz can make the difference without There is no Doubt , this could have made things even Easier , however I dare to think that it is very possible that Liverpool will take first place, I have no faith in City , because they have had a performance that I don't like, but On the other hand, although it is a little far Away , I like Newcastle's performance , since the Beginning of the PL they have made us dream that if they can do things , they just have to do things like Before , I don't know what they will have to do , but it is now that they do it.
In this order of ideas we have seen that the team that has Arrived in the most Successful way has been Aston Villa itself and that is what has left it clear that things can be done well if the whole team puts it into their heads, I think. that everyone has a winning mentality and that is what matters here, otherwise I don't think there is another way of seeing Things , for me it is a success that things can be presented this way, because it is a Different team , they have Everything their potential ready to be developed , exploited with Everything they have , that is why I Prefer that things can happen like this, in fact if it is above or becomes above an Aston Villa and being in first place is something that I I would like it very much , because it would set a Standard in the PL where Anything is Possible, there every team if they believe in it can Achieve it , this is what is taught more than anything, you have to do the things you want very well and get toDream about What that they Can do.
Arsenal's match against Liverpool was quite a boring match because it looked like the two of them were not attacking each other, even though the existing statistics show that both of them tried to attack each other up to 13 times and both of them also showed quite good kick accuracy. But at least a draw is a good choice because both get an additional point, whereas if they lose, then only one team gets an additional point.
I think the match was quite entertaining. Both teams played very carefully because they understand the points from the match was very crucial. That's why they didn't play very offensive, they didn't want to give the space for the opponent to build their attacking. If we look at the stats, both teams are very equal in any side. Specifically if we look at their total shoots during the match.
The draw result makes the competition for the title becomes more interesting. The point gaps among the top 5 of EPL standings aren't very large. So, the race for the title will be quite tight until the end of the season. Man City still has the chance to catch Liverpool and Arsenal in the top of SPL standings.
The English Premier League isn't a league where you expect top teams to score plenty of goals in every game. For a fact, many had expected that many goals will be scared in the game between Liverpool and Arsenal because of the attacking talents of both teams but disappointed as the two teams only scored one goal apiece. The two top EPL clubs were very careful not lose the game as they knew the importance of the game.
The two teams delivered a great performance in the game but none of them were able to force a win and that I think is absolutely fine. The battle for who wins the English Premier League title is still very open but I think it'll be more competed by the two teams this season.
I did enjoy the build up of the match between these great sides, Arsenal and Liverpool. Although I was hoping Arsenal would capitalize on their early goal advantage to secure their three points to stay on top. Liverpool proved me wrong and showed the world why they are one of the best and a favorite for the EPL trophy.
What am being wary of is the point gap between the top placed teams and the matches left to cement a sure top spot finish.
In short, things can happen in favor of a Liverpool that is Plugged in with victory, that is something that we can all see, and analyze at all times, things can happen for the better and we can take for granted that this team has a lot of potential and It's going to take a while, personally I feel that this Team is going to give everything of itself to bring more joy to the people of Liverpool, this is something very good, all I can say is that at the moment of having everything clear , many things can be trigger, now, taking into consideration the things that can happen are quite good in the PL, it is very difficult not to see a Man City here in first place, this is something that generates a lot of controversy and I think we are all getting an idea of How good this PL is, at least things with Arsenal are going well, how I wish they had participated in the UCL, something that would be the best , but hey , that's how things are.
Jamie Redknapp says Jurgen Klopp will be "disappointed" with Liverpool duo in Arsenal draw"They had the one big opportunity with Trent Alexander-Arnold, the one player you would like it to fall to in that position. I think Mikel Arteta will certainly be the happier of the two managers."
Jurgen Klopp also delivered his verdict on the game. He said: "I saw top teams, that’s what I saw. What does that say about City, Tottenham, Aston Villa? Nothing. They are top teams as well, and others as well who maybe have a little bit less points but are there as well.
"I just saw two really good football teams, a really good game, super-intense. Top, top, top moments for us; could have won, maybe should have won. In all the interviews I had so far, I forgot completely Trent’s [shot off the] crossbar. That’s why I said, ‘I’m not sure, they could have [won]’ but with that chance we should have won the game. I only realised that when I had the radio interview.
"Besides that, they had the better start, we came super back in the game. Anfield was outstanding tonight, I think everybody felt it. It was brutal. It was really nice to see what we can do all together.
