What I fear for Manchester United is another loss in the league which is very possible because Liverpool at Anfield is a team that is capable of winning Manchester City, not even Man United that is not in a good form.
Ten Hag will be in hot seat by now because his job will be at stake if they lose to Liverpool.
I wish Manchester United management will decide changing manager and some players in order to regain Man United’s dignity and respect in the Premier League.
Manchester United don’t look like a team that will change the manager now until the end of the season. They can have a change of mind before the end of the season, that is if the performance of the team becomes unbearable for the management of the team before the end of the season. If losing to Liverpool will cost Manchester United manager, Eric Ten Hag to lose his job, then losing his job will be imminent. Eric Ten Hag has a lot of pressure on him now and the team management is expecting a lot from him. If he can’t get a good Manchester United team before the end of the season, Eric Ten Hag will most likely lose his job.
Erik ten Hag has been given enough time to reposition Man Utd unfortunately it's seem things are not looking good for club crashing out and coming last in UCL by such a club of such a big status and magnitude is very embarrassing and unacceptable that means the manager would likely face a sanction possibly in form of a sack and it obvious their next match against Liverpool would be a decisive moment for the manager because a defeat against Man Utd would probably triggers his imminent sack the board wouldn't wait till the end of the season because the club might even end the league in an unfavorable position thus depriving them of European competitions next season and it's very obvious their fans would support whatever decision taken by the board.
Ten Hag has failed to bring Man United through to the knockout rounds of the UCL, meaning the Dutch coach managerial career at Old Trafford is now entering a new chapter. I mean, if United fail to make United consistent in the remaining 22 EPL matches, management will not keep him until the end of the season. Because I assume, by being eliminated early in the UCL, Ten Hag can focus completely on the EPL, which means finishing outside the top four is unacceptable for the Red Devils management.
We know that United is currently in 6th place in the standings and below them are Newcastle, Brighton and West Ham. The difference in points between the three clubs is not big, if United lose against Liverpool in Week 17, their position will immediately be overtaken by the three clubs below them. Ten Hag fate is at stake starting next week, I think it will be difficult for Ten Hag to bring United to mark a turning point in performance.
If you look a little further into United future match schedule, after facing Liverpool, The Red Devils will face teams that can be said to be a problem for them, namely, West Ham and Aston Villa, especially Unai Emery squad. Ten Hag should realize that his fate is hanging in the balance, as are the players he recruited last summer. Because if there is a change in managerial position within United, their fate will be more or less the same as Ten Hag.
