Based on statistics between the two teams playing balanced but I think this is a matter of stamina when the match entered 78 minutes Everton scored the first goal then score 2 more goals this is not the first time I saw Newcastle lost towards the last minutes because previously Liverpool had done it so I think Newcastle players have run out of stamina so they can't withstand attacks. Manchester City have lost not only De Bruyne but also Gundogan. Stones used to play as well, but got injured, so only Rodri was left from the "old" midfield. Newcomers like Phillips or Kovacic cannot replace De Bruyne or Gundogan.

With all the form Newcastle has had this season, they have played against many teams much stronger than Everton and have won them, but it is only Everton that Newcastle will not be able to defeat. If someone were to tell me that Everton will lose to Newcastle, I would not believe them because Newcastle is playing so well that you can even think that they will beat any team. Imagine Everton defeating Newcastle 3-0; that is too much for Newcastle.

Playing at home should be a reference for Everton to play optimally. Of course, this win can help Everton get out of the relegation zone because the penalty they received was a points deduction which required them to play in full to get the full three points.
