The final score was 1-1 and this was a pretty good match between the two top team in the premier League where Manchester city was held to a draw by liverpool at the etihad stadium. As the match progresses, We can see that this match will be quite fierce from both sides, but their strengths are quite balanced in this match and it is appropriate for them to share the points in this match. Liverpool this season have shown better changes compared to the previous season, But sometimes they have difficulty maintaining their consistency and kloop has to think about that so they don't lose any more points. For manchester city, Of course they were very disappointed with this result because they took an early lead from the goal scored by haaland but they were unable to defend it.

Salah also had several good opportunities but unfortunately He was guarded very tightly by manchester city players in this match. Apart from that, Salah was also able to contribute an assist to create a goal from Alexander arnold in the 80th minute. Now these two teams are still sitting side by side in the standing table and they will continue to fight to be the strongest in the upcoming match. I think liverpool have bigger ambitions this season and their hope is to win the title this season.

Putting ugochukwu instead of caicedo since the first half. Pochettino has something wrong in his mind. This guy was playing so badly. The second goal was happeing caused by this guy is only standing without even trying to block the ball kicked by gordon.
Chelsea was also very often making mistake. Pochettino has been also using the wrong line up. Mudryk and caicedo shall have played since the second half was starting. Some bad substitutions by poch.

The starting line up is bad to face newcastle which is able using its main squad again.

Manchester City was good in the first half because they managed to score a goal from Erling Haaland's kick, but when in the final minute Manchester City's defense seemed weak and Liverpool realized that, Liverpool took advantage of the opportunity to score a goal and in the end gave a draw. Manchester City at least had tried hard to maintain their defense. And finally, Arsenal reached the top of the standings because Manchester City failed to win the match against Liverpool.

Its an incredible week this weekend; i was fair in my assessment haha. Liverpool draw with Manchester city is well expected due to injuries and poor form; while Newcastle united thumped and dealt wth the Chelsea team mercilessly as well in a 4-1 victory.

The EPL is open, who do you tip to win?
do you think Pochetino is doing a good job? How will you judge var inconsistency in the league?

Yeah this is a big match between the top 1-2 so there's no need to be surprised if the two teams draw, overall Manchester City played better and controlled the match but don't forget that their opponent is Liverpool, one of the strongest teams in the Premier League, we often see how Liverpool plays against strong teams no matter whether they are playing at home or away. What surprised me was Newcastle who managed to beat Chelsea with a big score 4-1 even though at first I thought both teams would play aggressively but it turned out that Newcastle was able to take advantage of the situation.

In other matches, Arsenal managed to win and take over the standings there was a shift in the standings and I think Arsenal will be there for a few weeks because Arsenal will face easier opponents in the next few weeks until December 24, Arsenal will face Liverpool well, in this match maybe Arsenal will lose points because Liverpool is playing at home and Liverpool might take over the standings.

I wouldn't particularly call the game easy for Arsenal because you could see they were literally held to a draw in the first half and even Trossard's goal had stood, they would have found it difficult to beat Brentford. Another thing I've noticed about the Gunners is they find it difficult to shoot from outside of the eighteen yard box and that's something that would have come in handy for them since Brentford was too tight you can't break through to score and that's what I miss Thomas Partey for. When you shoot from outside, it becomes difficult for the opponents to defend and you'd see them making mistakes because you are not only pushing into their defenses, you are trying from outside to break their walls and that's what Arsenal lacked and still lack.

This wasn't Liverpool's finest performance. We have had better performances but today's own was enough to get the job done and that was to get the bare minimum if we can't get maximum game from the fixture. Everybody knew it wouldn't be an easy feat to goto Etihad stadium and get all 3 points from Guardiola's men even without KDB playing.

My expectations will be higher when Liverpool hold city at Anfield later this season 

In my opinion, there are other things that made Man City fail to get full points in this match. Yes, apart from finishing, Man City without KDB is like an ordinary team that is good at passing but has no vision. Maybe if there was KDB in this game, Haaland would find it easy to score goals. But this draw is good for both teams, making the EPL league competition even tighter.


Liverpool in this league really showed their best performance. In my opinion, only Klopp is really a competitor to Pep Guardiola in the Premier League. It's just that Pep is a little luckier because all the players he is targeting can be bought. Meanwhile, Klopp, that's how it is.

Even the Premier League had good chance for the Manchester City and Manchester United had huge chance of winning the game,the Arsenal had the second chance to win the league and make some chance to go to the final of this league.This was the expected result by the fans of the football community.Because the game was one sided one,after scoring the first goal in the game,the Arsenal F.C had move to the defensive game.Eventhough the Brentford try to score the first goal for the draw,the Arsenal never allowed them to score by the strong defensive match in this league.Kai Havertz made the goal and made this match the easy win for the Arsenal.The both team try to score the first goal but only possible to the Arsenal F.C.

Newcastle had the opportunity, and they utilised it well. I blame Chelsea for conceding so many goals, Newcastle performed well in the match, and they really deserve the win, but we don’t know how their performance will be in their next match against PSG. I just hope they will be able to perform well and win the match, but it will be difficult for Newcastle to win PSG. Let’s just hope PSG won’t end up humiliating them the same way Newcastle humiliated Chelsea in today's match. Newcastle's performance hasn’t really been good in the Champions League, or maybe they are in a difficult group. That’s why everything looks like they are performing poorly.

Arsenal should have won the game by two goals had Leandro Trossard's goal in the 44' hadn't been chopped off for offside. They played well, given that Brentford didn't give them breathing space as every pass and counter was being blocked by the Bees, even Saka wasn't given the opportunity to shine.
 If there's one thing I'd advise Arteta is that he should discourage the idea of building from the back as his team has not yet mastered that technique. It almost cost them an early goal when Ramsdale made that blunder but was lucky to have Rice as a substitute keeper for that.
Honestly, that goal scored by Havertz is really a morale booster and a timely one at that else they would have drawn the game and remained in their third spot.
 200 games and 116 wins for Arteta since becoming coach of Arsenal and for me, that's an impressive record but I feel he'd be more recognized if he leads his team to carrying the league by the end of the season.

Chelsea’s trip to Newcastle should've been a very nice encounter for them as they’re coming from a 4-4 draw to Manchester City. They seemed really favorites for the match and when they get all 3 points I think that’ll be more than what the fans need because the joy will be so glaring to behold, Newcastle United are having some injury worries but with the Chelsea squad I’ve seen of recent they should be giving Newcastle some troubles from the midfield down to their defense line.  

 However they tried their best but it wasn't enough Chelsea should've come out top of this encounter not just for the top 4 race but also for the fans as that’s what’s needed by the fans to close in on the gap for European Competition next season,  but they allowed Newcastle beat them with an embarrassing scoreline and they dropped in the standings.

The fighting spirit of Luton Town is truly incredible, despite having such a small budget to spend in the transfer window, the manager of Luton Town are still able to create quite a few surprising results so far with such a small squad of players at his disposal as they had managed to beat Crystal Palace today. It would be interesting to see how many points will Luton Town be able to earn at the end of this season.

The first half of the game, Chelsea didn’t play so bad and they tried to equalize on the first goal Newcastle had in the first half keeping the hopes of their supporters alive.
It all came crashing down in the second half as Newcastle came alive, dominating the game and stepping up the pressure and got 3 more goals. I too had looked back on the game they had with Manchester City and hoped to see Chelsea play some good football.

Concerning the red card gotten by Chelsea, it probably wouldn’t have made any difference if James didn’t pick up the red card and had to go off the pitch. The pressure was mounting and Chelsea couldn’t hold them back.

Yes, the match ends with a draw result. Man City and Liverpool have done their best in the match, they did what they can to get points. If we look at the stats, Man City actually deserves to win the match but a draw seems a quite fair result for me. With a draw result, the point gap among the top 3 in EPL standings is very small. So, the competition for the title will be tighter. I hope Tottenham to win the next match. If Tottenham wins the match against Aston Villa, they will overtake Liverpool position in the 3rd place.

Arsenal won the match with a single goal. Havertz's goal secure 3 points for Arsenal today. In EPL, it seems Gabriel Jesus gets difficulty to play in his best form this season. He already played 8 matches but he only could score 1 goal. It is very different from his performance in  the last season. Gabriel Jesus only can play well in UCL so far.

Until the first half when I saw Haaland scoring a goal for his team, I was thinking we were going to see an amazing performance from Manchester City and I expected to see Liverpool losing this game easily but the goal they scored in the last minutes of the game, save the team because this match was important for Liverpool considering the current situation they have in the Premier League table.

With Arsenal's current form, I also expect Arsenal to win the match with many goals, despite knowing that Brentford was back in form after losing some matches before winning three in a row. Arsenal really played well despite Brentford, but the truth is that Arsenal showed more effort than Brentford, and that is why the lucky shined on them even though the match was about to end. Even though Arsenal did not win the game with more goals, I am very happy for them because what matters most is three points, and that is what they have gotten.



Chelsea performances against Tottenham and Manchester City also make me believe they win the game today, or if Chelsea was not lucky to win, they will draw the match, but seriously, Newcastle won with many goals, which was something I never expected before the game started. With the set quality players that Chelsea have, I don't expect they should be suffering like this when playing any team season because I believe Chelsea have the qualities, but I don't know why they are not performing well despite their squad, in fact,  many teams that are doing better than Chelsea don't even have quality players like Chelsea.

I wouldnt thought that, a draw. But Liverpool fight hard for it, now the championship is exciting again. Arsenal have more luck in the battle of the two and win the game in Brentford by 1 or. I have just seen that Liverpool play Arsenal on December 23rd, which is another top game the day before Christmas.

It turns out it's not that easy to believe in Chelsea. ha ha
I think that Chelsea can really change and also play optimally because the last two matches were quite good. But this time, they really failed. Due to a situation like that, with Newcastle's condition being quite down, it turns out that Pochettino has not been able to bring Chelsea to win against Newcastle. Moreover, they lost badly 1 - 4 for Newcastle to win. This was a really bad result for Chelsea. They also got 1 red card.

On the other hand, Arsenal were finally able to become top of the standings in the EPL after Man City again only got a draw against Liverpool.

Kevin de Bruyne's absence is so noticeable. City couldn't make good use of the gaps Liverpool gave, as you can see, they usually attacked from the wing with Doku. I don't think Liverpool would have had much of a chance if de Bruyne was in this game, but it's still hard to get points here with or without de Bruyne. City often failed to prevent Liverpool's attacks when they lost the ball. Defensive weaknesses were more prevalent in both teams than in previous seasons.
