Yeah, the international break is over and it is now time for all the clubs to assess their players and find out who is fit, injured, tired or jetlagged. Some clubs have a worse injury situation than others, and there would be more injuries in the future until the footballing bodies come together and do something about this overload of games. When players play this staggering number of games, it is only logical that too many of them will get injured. It is what it is anyway, and i am pretty excited that the EPL is back, the international break is just too boring for me.

Deep down inside I feel that David Moyes would have probably been a great coach for Manchester united, he succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson but his start was not as they thought it would have been but personally I think they should have given more time to him so he could blend in.
Sir Alex Ferguson did not have immediate success at Manchester united he took time before he transformed the team I believe Manchester would have not been where they are if they had given some time to David Moyes.

Everything changes in Old Trafford over the past decades. The performance of the club have improved and have also decline in the present days. Erik Ten Hag is a prominent coach, he just needs time to set things right for the club. He will not have to worry again about their first choice goalkeeper who picked up an injury during international games. André Onana have return to training and he will be available for Everton game this weekend. I think it's good news for Manchester United, they will bounce back to winning ways in due time. The game might turn out to be easy for the Red Devils.

Most definitely, Manchester will also see some players leaving, they'll be active in the next two transfer window, securing and assembling players that would help the club win the Premier League tittle and also compete towards winning the Champions League ( allow me dream ) The club has a shit loads of trash going down behind the scenes and those flying roaches after profits have decided not to sell the club. Would those players be in the right mind to play again after all of them hard earned points have been deducted? Thanks for correcting that, I too easily forget when Newcastle were last in the Champions League as it's not a team that has gotten much attention from me in the last decade. Newcastle's realistic target is to qualify for the Europa League, but they can still try their best to qualify for the last 16. Players' self-confidence must be increased, as well as their performance.

Right now Newcastle must be able to compete enough to regularly qualify for the Champions League every season, especially after they were acquired by the conglomerate. They have to build a better squad from season to season and prove that they are capable of doing it step by step. This week they have a difficult match where they have to get Chelsea as their opponent.

We know Newcastle is also a difficult club, so no one is expecting the match to be a easy win for Chelsea. We all know Chelsea have been playing well lately, but I am sure they are still going to give Chelsea a tough time. But if we can compare the way the two clubs have been playing lately, Chelsea should be able to win the match. Newcastle lost their last two matches, the last one being against Bournemouth and their match against Dortmund in the Champions League. But most people didn’t expect Chelsea to win and draw their last two matches. Chelsea played a draw against Manchester City, which was very surprising to everyone, and they won against Tottenham. With Chelsea's performance, they should be able to win the match.

Newcastle did decent in the last match but could have done lot better but that's how CL games goes, always set for a surprise. Anyway right now Newcastle are in a very tough spot as they are on the bottom of the table and have to win their next CL match against PSG otherwise their chances of qualifying will depend very much on others or maybe could be none also. PSG are tough opponents but they have defeated PSG in the beginning also so Newcastle has to pull of  a win again in their next CL fixture to keep their chances alive to a good degree.

Still, there's a high risk in betting on Man United... I prefer waiting until their performance hits its peak in the 2024 transfer season. Sir James Ratcliffe seems poised to make a significant impact on Man United's football in the upcoming transfer window. There's a lot of workhome to be done, and the most glaring issue is the imperfect main team squad.

Ten Hag should be able to show positive progress in the upcoming games, and when facing Everton, the chances of either team winning seem 50:50 to me. Both teams appear equal based on the history of their early season matches untill this week.

I'm still optimistic about betting on Everton. At this moment, I haven't seen a significant improvement in Man United's strategy, while Chelsea has already demonstrated progress in evaluating their performance from last season to this one.

At the beginning of the season, the start off for Newcastle wasn't good enough for what was expected of them as a team that did finished well last season, they had an average performance maybe due their form then as it looked like they weren't in their best form.

But it's good they are now better of than they were earlier at the beginning of the season, they have shown some very good improvement convincing that they would do better, it's really a good one they got back on their feet before the season is far spent, so they still have some good time to make up for the moments they some slacks. But then I don't see them anywhere close to the trophy but I believe they are most likely to qualify for the UCL next season by finishing amongst top four is only they will be consistent with their improvement.

That's right, Newcastle last appeared in the Champions League competition in the 2003-2004 season, which is exactly two decades ago. Real Madrid is the kings in the Champions League, of course because of the record titles they have won. Real Madrid have almost never failed in the Champions League final, which means they are the holders of the best record so far.

I don't know how long they have been out of the Champions League since they last qualified, but so far Newcastle have recorded 22 games in the Champions League with 8 wins, 3 draws and 11 losses. They weren't a competitive team for much of last season, so it's natural that Newcastle has very little experience in the Champions League compared to the other 3 teams.

This season, Newcastle still has at least 2 next matches which will make it a total of 24 matches in the Champions League. If Newcastle manages to qualify for the last 16, then of course the number of matches they will play will increase and so will their experience. Milan, Dortmund and PSG are much more experienced in the Champions League, but that doesn't mean Newcastle doesn't have a chance.

If you are favoring Chelsea, I will advice you you not to bet on it because matches like this are very risky, you will be having this thought before the game begin and the next 15 minutes, your bet is on the verge of been loss due to one mistake from your favorite team, red card is even easy to get these days from players and then, the next thing they shame you for their incompetent.

Chelsea might have been a hot cake recently but Newcastle are bad ass as well, in their last matches, they have played in 3 different leagues and non they lost, they won it even beat Arsenal and Bournemout in their last two EPL, Chelsea really need to pull some extra forces to win that game because the more I look at it, the less chance I think will happen for Chelsea to win Tottenham.


Newcastle fumble in the beginning of the season, when every other prominent teams were making 3 points in their matches to compete with others, Newcastle were doing what I least expected from them due to their last season performance but they have started to pick up judging from their last 4 matches, they might pull some stunt in this coming match.

I agree with you on this because Newcastle United played very good football against Borussia Dortmund but the inexperience of Uefa Champions League Newcastle players had caused them to lose against Borussia Dortmund. Group F of the Uefa Champions League which is the Newcastle group is still open for any club to qualify because the points difference between the clubs is not much. I believe Newcastle United will beat PSG again when they play at home in England.

Newcastle's main problem is injuries especially for their attacking players and at the moment if we look at what happened Isak and Wilson are also likely to still be unable to compete which of course this will hamper the quality of their attack but indeed if only they can stay in good enough condition when trying to play passively and defend in matches that are carried out then surely this will make them better because keeping up with Chelsea sometimes will not be too good to do so it would be great if they tried to be more passive in defense because this could make Chelsea difficult because after all, looking at the match records Chelsea always struggles with clubs that do passive defense which makes their attackers stuck.
For sure it will be interesting and I think the possibility of Chelsea 3 points is still difficult because I still expect Newcastle to get points.

Didn't Newcastle not enter the Champions League for a long time, some say 20 years without being in the champions league? Correct me if I'm wrong.
So indeed Newcastle do not have much experience in the Champions League and only this season they seem better even though they have to be in a tough group and even that is not able to compete even though the opportunity to qualify is still there.

That's why we are still difficult to guess, on the one hand Newcastle are experiencing problems with players who are injured a lot this is certainly a tough test as long as they play Champion League matches, I say the same anyone in qualifying but it is difficult to determine.

There is no way Newcastle can be the most experienced player in champions League when we have so many other reputation clubs who are known to be the king or rather champions on every season champions league, infact they are the smallest experience team in champions league.

When we talk about champions league the teams that are well known to be more experience is Real Madrid because I don't no if they are destined for it because they hardly miss the trophy if they find themselves on the champions League final, so however if Real Madrid manages to scare through final I'm sure they will win the trophy.

Maybe Chelsea is only slightly ahead with their current performance but that doesn't mean they can win easily against Newcastle. Here statistics can have a full impact on performance and I think sometimes they don't really matter given the current condition of each team. Newcastle are the hosts but not only that, they also have to clean up their minor record immediately and must be able to get 3 points again after they failed to do so in the previous 5 matches. Apart from that, of course they will not accept it if Manchester United is above them and they will try again to reach their previous place. So Chelsea will have to fight hard if they want to beat Newcastle with such high motivation and it will never be easy.

Newcastle is not the most experienced team in the Champions League, but they are the least experienced team compared to the other 3 teams in the same group. Newcastle have failed in 3 out of 4 matches so far and they were only able to beat PSG by surprise. Their performance was poor even though I enjoyed the good game, but the result is what matters most, not the gameplay.

I don't think Newcastle can easily qualify for the round of 16 this season, but they have the potential to win that ticket if they are able to win the next 2 matches. Nothing is impossible and no one knows for sure how far Newcastle will progress this season in the Champions League. The opportunity is still there and every team in Group F has that opportunity and can still take advantage of it. They represent the Premier League, but it is difficult to move forward when big teams are the opponents.

I also see the match to be a draw because considering their previous 2 matches they played draw with both team’s scoring a single goal each in these two matches but we can’t judge from previous games because this is a new season and both teams have made some changes. Both teams are not consistent with their game especially when they are facing smaller opponents but they perform better when they are faced with stronger opponents so I believe the match will be strong and interesting.

Chelsea now seem to be in a better shape than they were when the season started, they have shown massive improvement in recent games and they earn my respect when they challenged Manchester City and Arsenal and in these matches they were the better team and they deserve to win. If they can emulate the same performance with Manchester City against Newcastle then they will definitely be the favorites to win especially now that Newcastle is having injury issues. They cannot be underestimated anyway, so in my opinion i think it will be a draw match.

Looking at recent performances Chelsea is definitely the favorite to win because they only have 2 draws and a loss in their last 8 matches which I think is an improvement for them and Newcastle’s last 2 matches was a loss, they lost to Bournemouth that sits close to the relegation zone so Chelsea can capitalize on this but Newcastle will not just sit back without fighting back and they are also good in playing big matches.

This match will be one of the most interesting ones for this weekend as it is a fixture between top table clubs of the league right now. Man City is just 1 point ahead of Liverpool who have 27 points. Both of the clubs have many reasons why they don't want to lose in this match because that is much likely to bring them down the table beneath Arsenal and Tottenham Spurs if these club win in their next matches. Man City can not afford losing this match which will be equivalent to them losing the table as the top runners.

On the other hand, Liverpool's desire right now is not to drop down but to take the table lead from Manchester City. If they csn put in much efforts with the right formation and consistency, they will win couple with some of Manchester city players in injury.

The match has now been shifted to five hours earlier than the initial time scheduled for the match on Saturday. Instead of 5:30PM it will now be by 12:30PM. This is due to police concerns following the troubles fans faced in the previous match against both clubs because of crowd.

A small fan girl suffered from head injury after he experienced a glass bottle hit at the Ettihad stadium whereas Liverpool disabled fans were abused by their rivals as a result of the game. This is the reason why the match has been rescheduled to a better timing for the protection of the lives of the fans.
