When the season first started, Tottenham was playing better than Manchester City. But right now, I feel that Tottenham's performance is slipping, therefore I'll not compare them to Manchester City. The injuries that have befallen Tottenham's star players are the reason for the noteworthy decline.
Even with these recent disappointments, I think Tottenham will eventually return to its previous glory. Since that their disabilities are only a temporary hindrance, the fleeting nature of their current challenges points to the possibility of recovery. As a result, even though the current circumstances might not be ideal, I believe that Tottenham's form will improve going forward as the club recovers from its setbacks caused by injuries.
Even if Manchester City's performance has slightly declined, they are still playing well. The fact that De Bruyne is a vital player who is not on the team right now could be a factor in the team's poor play. If De Bruyne comes back, I think things will get much better. Manchester City can still win the league despite their present form because other clubs aren't playing remarkably well either. There isn't a team that I think is obviously superior to Manchester City or the front-runner to win the Premier League this year. Manchester City is still a serious contender for the league title because of De Bruyne's possible return and the uneven play of the opposition.
