Anyway, talking about Manchester City, next week they will have a big match against their rival last season, namely Arsenal, and I know that so far Arsenal have never won against Manchester City. However, Manchester City's previous defeat will certainly be an opportunity for the Gunners to overthrow Manchester City at home and at the same time break Manchester City's unbeaten record when they meet Arsenal in that match. Roll Eyes

The match against City will be a tough match for the Gunners. Even though this match was held at the Emirates Stadium, it was not an easy matter to defeat Pep Guardiola's squad. Next week, this match will be the biggest match of all the available match schedules. Referring to the odds currently available, there is no team that is too superior in terms of odds. Arsenal with @2.75, while Manchester City with @2.41. Before the match is held, the odds can change according to the conditions and situation.

As an Arsenal fan, I hope the Gunners are able to overthrow TheCitizen. The reason is, Arsenal had previously beaten City in the Community Shield even through a penalty shootout. However, thanks to this victory, Mikel Arteta's squad should have great motivation to perform more optimally in the next match. and they must overthrow City in the Premier League. Apart from winning the top position in the standings, this match is a mental testing match for the Gunners squad. Fortunately, in the match City will not be strengthened by Rodri, who is still suffering from a red card.

Apart from that, Pep Guardiola will not implement his 3-2-4-1 pattern. Most likely, Pep will still apply the 4-2-3-1 system. or, 4-3-3.  The point is, City's position is not as strong as when their squad was still complete. for example, De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, even Gundohan. So, there is no reason if Arsenal does not provide fierce resistance in next week's match.

I honestly don't know what exactly happened to Manchester United, which is certain this season they are worse than last season. Now the performance and appearance of Ten Hag's squad is far from consistent, defeats still dominate them on the standings in the few matches they have passed since the beginning of the season. Obviously it is very reasonable, the facts that happened were very far from the expectations of their supporters, let alone Manchester United playing at home but having to experience defeat from a squad that I think is not too strong and ordinary, this is very embarrassing even until the last minute of added time they still have difficulty creating opportunities to produce goals.

The rest of course there must be a very deep disappointment from their supporters due to the results of this completely unexpected match, honestly I also did not expect that until the end of the match Manchester United really could not get a goal back at all even to equalize even though it seemed very difficult. With an embarrassing result like this I hope Ten Hag has to do something to fix it, the prestige of the team is very important.
The simplest reason is that Ten Hag is missing several key players due to injuries and suspensions. Then from that, Rashford, who performed well last season, seemed to have dropped a lot this season by only scoring 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 matches. Rasmus Højlund has not been in great form either and he is still struggling to find his first goal in 4 matches. Bruno Fernandes, who recorded 8 assists and 8 goals last season, has only recorded 1 assist in 7 matches, so all of Manchester United's important players so far have experienced a decline in form.

Ten Hag certainly still has room to make improvements to his team, including in defense, but he admits that everyone is frustrated due to the less than satisfactory results at the start of this season. Ten Hag must try to be better at planning his game strategy and tactics, but if players like Rashford lose confidence then of course this team will tend to fail.

Players are indeed missing, but I would not call the playing team a bad team. They had problems at the beginning of last season as well and then started a winning streak, but often had some crashes that nobody could really explain. I don't know how good Ten Hag really is. It seems that he is not a good motivator and that players sometimes have issues with them. You can then often see that players start playing against a coach instead of for the club. Burnley so far has a single point and yet Manchester United had trouble beating them, but have a look at their formation. That's not a bad formation at all.

Maybe the players really have nothing to motivate them, they are often confused on the pitch, it just means that they don't hear each other, because I doubt that Ten Hag is inarticulate in giving the set-up for the game. Even if we assume that the set-up is bad, why? Last season there was nothing wrong with it, but suddenly something has changed drastically, isn't that strange?

In the drama of Manchester City's defeat against Wolves, Pep Guardiola apparently praised Wolves and congratulated them. Manchester City were expected to be able to recover after two consecutive defeats in two different competitions, but the impact of Rodri's absence was really felt when they were defeated by Wolves.

Pep Guardiola also said that Wolves' defense was also very good at protecting Haaland's movements. There were several defenders who did not give Haaland the opportunity to take advantage, but actually the problem that Manchester City experienced in that match was that they were not good at building attacks. Jeremy Doku repeatedly failed to find himself providing accurate crossing from the left wing, but Juan Manuel Lillo seemed to give him more confidence instead of replacing him with Jack Grealish. Doku finished the match with 4 key passes and 1 shot on goal.
In this match, Manchester City controlled the game quite well and were even able to make 23 shots and 8 were on target. However, Pep Guradiola's explanation is quite correct because Wolves' defense in this match was quite good at guarding the movements of Haaland and Foden so that when they had a good opportunity they had difficulty completing their shot for a goal. Wolves were also supported by a good performance from Jose Sa because he was able to block several shots quite well in this match.

The big obstacle for Manchester City at the moment is ending the bad streak in the last two matches in the upcoming match. Pep Guardiola must make several changes for the upcoming match to be able to return them to winning ways. But this is their first defeat this season so it is not a big burden for Manchester City because they have a good enough squad so it is believed that in the next match they will return to winning ways.

Yes, that's the Premier League where we will always be presented with a surprise that was not thought of before. this match ended with a landslide victory for Aston Villa, yes in the second half Aston Villa could score 3 more goals to ensure they really won very convincingly. Conversely for Brighton, although they had reduced the distance to 3-1, but they also conceded another 3 goals after that. The effectiveness of the game from Aston Villa was the key to this victory, and also the game that did not develop, especially on the defense side, made Brighton have to admit the superiority of Aston Villa.
I've also surprised at how Villa outplayed Brighton. Brighton had previously dominated Manchester United, but their inconsistency is evident. They win one game and then fail in the next, a recurring pattern for them. This win for Villa marks one of Brighton's toughest defeats in the Premier League. On that day, Villa was exceptional, showing no mercy and displaying sheer determination. Here's hope to maintaining the positivity and high hopes for Villa's future performances.
Brighton in this match actually played very well, it's just that they made mistakes that were not corrected from the beginning to the end of the match where they only focused on attacks and when anticipating counterattacks they always waited without seeing or marking the opponent they should do.
Almost all the goals scored by Aston Villa are the same scheme where Brighton defenders are very much in defence but their marking is poor and always provides a gap for opposing players so that this can be used well by opposing strikers who always punish them with goals scored by Aston Villa.
Brighton always wins big in some matches but when they lose they also always get a bigger score because their 2 defeats at the beginning of this season there are 9 goals nested.

Antony is a very important player for Manchester United. Erik Ten Hag will be the happiest that the slander against him has been revealed and the player is found innocent. It was bad for them to have such a player and not be able to use it. I think we can see that they are more organized offensively now.

Maybe this will not completely affect the team's overall performance, but with Antony, something good can be expected. I totally agree that Manchester United's performance this season has really declined, especially if you look at Rashford's goal statistics. Many players seem to be playing alone without proper organization on the pitch, so this will only make things worse for Manchester United.

Sofyan Amrabat was a good addition to Manchester United's midfield, but Ten Hag instead played him at left-back in the 0-1 defeat against Crystal Palace. Injuries to several defenders have disrupted Manchester United's defense so far, but if the performance of the attackers is better then it feels like Manchester United can also reap positive results.
Manchester United have suffered their second defeat when playing at Old Trafford. His first defeat was against Brighton and now his second defeat was against Crystal Palace. The defeat that the Red Devils experienced again certainly caused a lot of reactions from fans. Now United fans are starting to lose trust in Erik Ten Hag, he is starting to be labeled as having failed to restore glory even though he has been given the freedom to choose players according to his plans.

As a result of this series of bad results, other problems also emerged. The effects of injuries to several players are indeed the main reason but I don't think it is the cause. But I saw that there was something wrong with the internal situation, this could be seen from the play of several MU players who were very individual and also looked like they had lost trust between the players. I have highlighted Bruno Fernandez's performance several times, it seems like he is no longer fit to be a leader and it is better to rest for the good of the team. He is completely unable to make the atmosphere conducive and in fact always makes the situation worse. He is a very selfish man and surpasses anyone.

City finally lost in the league and showed that they are normal humans. Although it was a lucky win for Wolves, as they finished the game with only one shot on target and two goals. Sometimes we watch matches like that. One team shot more than 20 times and other defensive team get the win.
Experiencing one defeat in the EPL league is not a bad thing for a big club, after all, Manchester City has had enough consecutive wins from the several matches they faced at the start of this season. There are times when they lose or get a draw, no one will ever know about that, anyone who bets on Wolves with big betting odds will definitely win big.
We don't know the exact reason why Manchester City lost, but I'm sure that Guardiola has mobilized his team to continue winning, but they are also human, they must feel tired, so it's normal to experience defeat, however, with Manchester City's defeat, competition at the top of the standings is now getting tighter. this season. BTW, even though they lost, Manchester City is still at the top of the standings.
Indeed, something like this could happen to a big club, especially Manchester City, we know that any team will definitely have difficulty beating it. However, it must also be acknowledged that Wolves are the first team to beat Manchester City this season. Smiley
It is true that even though they lost, Manchester City are still at the top of the standings with 18 points, but this does not make them calm because the two teams from North London, namely Spurs and Arsenal, are now closer to Manchester City with only 1 point.

I fon't have much to say on this match because I know that both teams will be playing with the mindset to win the game but eventually it is only one team that can win the game which might be Manchester City dur to the dact that they lost against Wolves and the point gap is damn close.
Arsenal won Manchester City last in Community shield in the beginning of this season and I think that this match will be a revenge for that match from Manchester City. On the other hand, Arsenal would try to win this match so that they can top the league, but it wouldn't be an easy one for them. I wouldn't place ny bet on this game because it is unpredictable and anything can happen along the line because football is full of surprises.
The match is really going to be a tough one for Arsenal because they were recently hit with the news of Saka's injury in their last match and we know how phenomenal the player is.
For Manchester city, they would be coming with all they got because it is Arsenal, their close competitors for the title and neighbor and they have just lost their last match against Wolverhampton as highlighted already.
I wouldn't hold my breath on placing a bet. If there's one thing am confident on, it is that the goals will end in a side securing win of an above 2.5 goal margin. Worst is a draw, but I hardly doubt.

I would say this is the most important match in the Premier League right now. So far, it seems that Manchester City and Arsenal are the most worthy teams for this year's Premier League title. Tottenham are playing pretty well though. But this group has several weaknesses. It will be very difficult for Tottenham to perform consistently well until the end of the season. This is why City and Arsenal are the favorites for the Premier League title.

Manchester City lost their last match against Wolves. And so it is not impossible to defeat this team. Since Manchester City lost against Wolves, maybe Arsenal players will be more confident to win this match. Manchester City will be favorites in this match. But my guess is that the match will be a draw or Arsenal will win.

I think so because if it was a clear off-side, you'd see the lines on the screen but it wasn't there. They went over the decision to disallow the goal very quickly.

It would be great to see PGMOL being held accountable otherwise, these kinds of "significant human errors" is bound to repeat itself in the premier league. It's outright unfair to any club that is dealt that hand.
I think the call from the officials was a wrong one and someone needed to be held accountable and I think most of this officials needs to be punished for their wrong calls not only players or coaches and I love the accounts that's been taken so far by PGMOL on Darren and Dan Cook to be replaced for the Premier league games taking place on Sunday and Monday that's the games against Nottingham Forest vs Brentford and Fulham vs Chelsea.

I wish they could be punished more so they could take their jobs seriously and stop being biased when officiating, the introduction of the VAR was to help the referee with their decision making but some of them even after checking the VAR to see the right thing would still go ahead to make the wrong call.

I forgot the on-side goal. That was strange because if I understood the whole scene correctly, they didn't show a line in the VAR review on TV. I wondered why they wouldn't do that? But if anything was wrong there, wouldn't they be held accountable after the game as well? It would not be repeated of course, but if Liverpool says there was something wrong or they request the data, I can imagine that the VAR data is stored and has to be available for checks afterwards. Because I agree that the goal was very suspiciously given as off-side and hence taken back. I was like wow, I want to see that line. But they just didn't provide it. If for some reason it was so close that even their computers couldn't draw it, then it should be a goal.
Currently, PGMOL has also actually admitted that Diaz's goal should have been allowed but this kind of thing has happened even though it is now admitted that it was an error from the referee, it still does not restore anything. Liverpool have also responded by providing a statement relating to this matter.

But again this also cannot be changed because it has already happened but it is important for PGMOL because this can be a good lesson and in the end for future matches there are no more human errors like this so as not to harm one of the clubs in a match.

Liverpool must be disappointed I just saw some scenes from the game. I think there couldn't have been more bad coincidences for them. But the first red card was insanity by the Liverpool player. That leg could have been broken. Nacho from Real Madrid made a similar foul against Girona. What is wrong with these guys?

I can't justify the first red card because it was a bad foul but what I wouldn't agree is the fact that Liverpool's loss today was proudly sponsored by bad officiating. That Luiz Dias goal was a clearly onside but the on-field referees confirmed it was offside including VAR.

In second half, Udogie tripped and fell then the ref shows a yellow to jota. This is the first time I have seen Liverpool go down to 9-men after picking up 2 red cards. The statement by PGMOL acknowledging "significant". human error as the reason makes no sense. That goal would've changed the momentum of the game but it was disallowed. Terrible officiating in the PL.

Of what difference will it make to see the Brazilian with the Red Devils again? Erik Ten Hag having challenging time with his squad, he attempts employing new strategies, all to no avail because of the inconsistent performance of his players, which also affects him at the top, supporters circulates rumours to pushed him exits Old Trafford this summer, though he would be given time to execute proper plans for the team.

Wolverhampton took advantage of the counterattack game and played well defensively. It is difficult to play against such a defense, City often had to shot from outside the penalty area, this also simplified the game for Sa, and overall he played a good match. Despite the defeat, City managed to maintain their lead.
Against Manchester City who dominance will ball possession need more or full defensive and take advantage with counter attack, Wolves have solid defense and more aggressive when getting chance for counter attack how success get three points from difficult team for defeating. Not effective and get risk when full offensive games play against with Manchester City and easily give them chance for scoring goals.
Wolves have smart game play and they more full with defensive and take moment scoring goals trough faster counter attack. Don't controlling ball possession and effective make counter attack to Manchester City defense area due some their players have been active for move up from their position. Wolves is the first Premier League teams Made Manchester City loss their three points, will Wolves well performed keep continue for next match?

I think the important point was that Aston Villa scored an early goal, and later Brighton tried to get back and spent a lot of time attacking, often forgetting about defense, and look how many goals were scored in this match on counterattacks, besides that there was an own goal and a rebound off a Brighton defender. Let's just say it was a bad day for Brighton.

Yeah that's right, the early goal disrupted the Brighton players' concentration in 13 minutes Aston Villa was able to score 3 goals in the first half and the problem continued until 5 minutes before the end of the match, overall Brighton played badly but we know that was the impact of the first half. After all, Aston Villa is on fire especially when playing at home so their self-confidence increases and can take advantage of the moment. Anyway, this week we saw a lot of surprises from the top teams and we don't know if this is just a coincidence.

I think it always happens every season, and it is almost all the leagues that always face this type of challenge every season, but the way I see it this time around, especially in the Premier League, there will be more challenges in the league because different surprises result from different things. Yesterday, I was not much surprised to see Wolves defeated Manchester City because I had seen how difficult it is for Manchester City to always win their game, either by comeback or not scoring many goals, but what surprised me most was how Aston Villa defeated Brighton 6-1, and as we all know, Brighton was in very good form. In fact, I don't even expect Aston Villa to successfully defeat Brighton. Talk of scoring Brighton six goals is just magic to me.
I think the important point was that Aston Villa scored an early goal, and later Brighton tried to get back and spent a lot of time attacking, often forgetting about defense, and look how many goals were scored in this match on counterattacks, besides that there was an own goal and a rebound off a Brighton defender. Liverpool finished the match with 9 men due to two red cards, but they fought well against Tottenham. The second red card came in the 69th minute.
Liverpool is one of the club I respect so much, the team has been doing very well this season, since September till date they have won five straight of there matches with a lot goals, there match yesterday with Tottenham was a tough one, imagine playing with a two men down against such a big club like Tottenham, even after those red card Liverpool has really tried to maintain the 1:1 which they struggle to defend till the last minutes Tottenham manages to score 2:1, perhaps with Liverpool excellent performance  there next match against Union st. Gilloise there is a good chance of Liverpool wining the match.
Perhaps it must be admitted that yesterday was a nightmare for Liverpool and it was as if Spurs had stolen their victory. I feel the referee's leadership is unclear here and always puts Liverpool in trouble. However, the results cannot be changed and Jurgen Kloop must be willing if his troops lose this match. It was very difficult to play with 9 people and Liverpool still performed well even though in the end they still lost.

Liverpool truly got the short end of the stick. I can't say anything about the referee, but they'll surely recover from this setback. Liverpool vs Spurs match was an utter mess. It's a bit comforting that it happened against Spurs, who have been performing well this season. Tottenham Hotspur secured the victory, but Liverpool's gameplay left an impression on me.
In this match, Tottenham managed to beat Liverpool, but you have to see that the goal difference between the two teams was only one goal, which means that Liverpool tried hard to win this match, but luck was not on Liverpool's side, making them lose and fail to win. first position at the top of the standings, even though it is only temporary.
