I don't know if I'm the only one who's happy for Everton for getting their first win of the campaign, I never expected it to be this way but it happened to be in their favor.
At least for now they have something to hold on to and I believe this has to be a morale booster on their path.
We all know Sean Dyche to be a coach of defending and making things hard for opponent by disorganizing them just to get a point (that's to draw the game) but today we saw something different from the coach which I'm very proud of. Brentford thought they were in control after equalizing at first half but the second half Sean Dyche went in the locker room and changed the game plan which favored the visitors, kudos to Everton.

City are still very strong without KDB,after watching their game today against Northingham Forest,I now know where City's weakness is,and that is their holding midfielder,Rodri.City are completely a weak team without Rodri in their squad. After they sent him off for poaching a forest player,City looked absolutely a different team altogether, their possessions changed, they could no longer hold the ball like they did when Rodri was in the team, and I just knew he is their engine room. The person introduced could not do exactly Rodri's work, his absence was very obvious on the pitch.
It is true that they've not really faced a tough side this season, and the only teams that I see that will trouble them is Arsenal, Liverpool and Totthenham.Any other team apart from those four clubs cannot hold them.Arsenal will be facing Totthenham tomorow, and we will see how this encounter will go between the two North London clubs.

Without Kevin De Bruyne Pep Guardiola had to adjust his strategy. Last season Pep Guardiola often used a 3-4-3 formation, while this season he has used a 4-2-3-1 formation. This change in strategy allowed Alvarez to get a place in the main line-up where he was played as an attacking midfielder as well as a second striker. The adoption of this formation has certainly covered the gap in the absence of De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, but so far Pep Guardiola's tactics have really proven to be good.

Today Manchester City played very well in the first half, but they tended to decline in the second half because Rodri was sent off due to a red card. Manchester City, which only had 10 players left on the pitch, tended to have to defend against Nottingham attacks, but in the end Pep Guardiola's team still maintained its winning streak.

EPL game live, an entertaining game to watch. Though I'm patiently waiting for Burnley vs ManchesterUnited. Atleast I'm happy for the game with Brentford losing. I place my wager in favour of Everton to thrash them. Brentford losing at home to Everton 1-3. It's humiliating game for the Bees as they keep making attempts to score, all to no avail. Thomas Frank and the players would take the blame for their poor performance this season. It's good news for the Toffees, they're eventually climbing from the relegation zone in the early season. That would be their aim to move to a more secure position.

Everton won 3-1 and got their first win of the season. I was thinking this was gonna be a win for Brentford but they couldnt pull through in the second half. Everton pushed hard in second half and got an important first win of the season and if they continue like this they might avoid relegation this season.

To be fair I believe that Arsenal still has a long way to go and doesn't feel like they are going to be doing fine. I get that it is not going to be easy to make them win or something like that right away, but just because they learned from last season doesn't mean they will be better this season.

By the looks of it they are decent, but not really amazing and they need to keep adjusting some stuff at the club at all times, Arteta is a great manager there is no argument there but he can't just make the team win by sheer force, he has to wait to see players show their talent and make any changes afterwards which may take some time. I still think City will win the league again, they are just way too good for not to win it.
However, after last season finished, every club improved their team. like Arsenal and other clubs also transfer players. this season is a new rivalry. even though we see Man City still appearing very strong in the first 6 matches of this season. Their fate could also end like Arsenal's last season.
The competition at the top of the standings hasn't changed much this season, I only see a decline from MU and Newcastle at the start of this season.

now, Brentford faces pressure from Everton with a score of 1-3. If Everton can maintain, this will be their first win in 6 matches.

It would be interesting to see how City handles their games ahead.
Maybe City in this season will be able to do what the Arsenal invincible's did during their season where they went a whole season without loosing any game in the premier league. City play well and even with the ten men they were able to still not concede any goal, even with how Nottingham Forest tried. Pep is very good, his changes after the red card ensured that Forest will still not be able to do much. And I know City as a club that do not easily concede goals, so even if Nottingham forest had scored one, they would have struggled for the second goal.
~

You are jumping to conclusions too early. The only serious team City have played this season is Newcastle (which are clearly playing worse than last season). City have a super easy start of the season this year, but then there will be some tough games that will determine how strong they are. All the fun will start from the 8th round where they will meet Arsenal. Then they will have 5 more difficult games (with a break at Bournemouth), so we will very soon see how strong City is without KDB.

After few early bore matches now we are having one of the entertaining match which is playing between Brentford vs Everton with early goal from Everton create good interest in this game but Brentford able to give timely reply through Jensen and now match is on level with score of 1 - 1 this is going to be an interesting match after having few poor boring matches.

Everton which is having the worst time looking for the something positive because they are having just one point from five games and staying in danger zone but Brentford which is having impressive start are now in decline in performance, both will try their best for the best end of this match Dyche feeling pressure so can he change the fortune of Everton it's very interesting.
To some extent if I am to bet on this live games between Everton and brentford it would be to select a draw game in the 90 as at the moment the match is already in 63+ minutes and there is no attempt to add any goal from both teams as it seems both of them have focused on defending the 18/ till the end of the match to prevent further goals conceptions.

This could be a deliberate act that is decided in the second half of the game when the team notices that the match is aiming at a draw and that is why we may not expect any other goals in the remaining minutes of this match.

Ten Hag understands that he needs to get out of this losing streak, he needs victories and 13th place is definitely not what they expected to see at the start. Manchester United concede too much, their defense is bad and to be honest I don’t like the way Onana plays. Burnley also do not have the best defense and they conceded even more than Manchester United, so I think that Manchester United will score today, despite the fact that this is an away match, I expect them to score two or more goals, most likely they will also concede.
In terms of building attacks from the back area, Onana was so good that Ten Hag recruited him this season because the game pattern implemented by Ten Hag was to build attacks from behind and look for a goalkeeper who could make good passes. But from his reflexes it is clear that Onana is not as good as De Gea. Burnley have conceded more goals and have not won so far, however, Manchester United should not underestimate Burnley, especially since the pattern of play exhibited by Burnley is almost similar to what Manchester City does when controlling the ball, especially Burnley coach Vincent Kompany, who is the former captain of Manchester City. and was once a pupil of Pep Guardiola.
No matter about Vincent Kompany because anyway, Burnley so far is also very bad and therefore, at least Manchester United will still be favored to win this match. Because yes, although Manchester United have conceded a lot of goals so far but at least, Manchester United still looks okay to score goals. So yes, playing away against Burnley I think will not make Manchester United lose the chance to win, because basically Manchester United still has good quality and of course, Manchester United will be able to maximize this match to win.
Manchester United's performance is impossible to predict. Their performance is very erratic. For this reason it is not possible to make any assumptions.
I would say Manchester United's main problem is their defence. And because of this weak defense, they are not able to win even against smaller teams. Manchester United have conceded 10 goals in their last three matches. Even weaker teams like Nottingham Forest scored 2 goals against United. Kompany is a good enough coach. He is aware of United's weakness. And so I think Burnley have the potential to pick up points today. I don't think Manchester United will win.
Because of the poor and inconsistent results we've seen from Manchester United since the start of the season, it's very hard to predict their games or probably bet on them to win games.
That being said, I think they have a better chance of winning this weekend's English Premier League game against Burnley than their opponents do and that's because if the fact that Burnley has only picked just one point from all the league games they've played this season.

Burnley are weak opponents. Manchester United will get an easy win if they are able to put up some consistent performance. But in the last few matches I have been very disappointed with Manchester United's performance. From the performance it seems that they have no definite plan. Bonding between players is weak. In addition, Manchester United's attacking performance is also quite weak. On the other hand, if Burnley plays a defensive strategy, it will be much more difficult for United's players to score. United's chances of winning are slim if the attacking players perform erratically.

Manchester City is off to another fast start. Foden and Haaland put them ahead early on. There's nothing Nottingham Forest can do now. They will defend whenever possible and try not to concede more goals. But as long as Manchester City play like this, more goals are likely. Nottingham Forest started with a fairly defensive line-up but they didn't show any resistance as they conceded early goals.
Now things may be different as Rodri was shown a red card just the start of the second half. I still don't think Nottingham Forest to try to score but Manchester City may be more defensive now. If you bet on over 4-5 goals it might be difficult to reach.
I believe the aggressive mentality was just wanting to win the game by any means possible, despite the fact that the total number of yellow cards distributed was nine. except for Rodri, who received a red card. Manchester City will constantly take advantage of any scoring opportunity their assault is always active, with two goals already scored in the first half. just seven minutes foden has already dropped a goal inside the net. and even with all the effort of playing the defensive game, it was of no use because the whole strategy was comprehended by Manchester City.

Manchester City were very aggressive from the start and Forest resisted heavily. Manchester City scored two goals before halftime and did not score any more goals. Meanwhile, after half time, Rodri got a red card and left the field. His foul was horrible to say the least. Forest could not use the opportunity of Rodri going out of the field, but there were many attacks in this opportunity, but no goal was seen. The game after half time was very competitive as Manchester City were a player down so this was Forest's biggest chance of the game.

I don't see anyone who will not be impressed with the performance of Manchester City so I don't see any win again. even though their ball possession was well coordinated, even when Manchester City was one man down they still played a well-coordinated game.

It didn't seem like such a terrible foul on Rhodri's part. It's clear that he got nervous and grabbed Gibbs-White by the throat for some reason, but Gibbs-White fell like he was knocked down with two feet. Although again there are no questions about the red card, it is deserved, because you can not give the nerves and grab the opponent by the throat, this is still soccer and not ufc.

The main thing is that City kept the victory playing 50 minutes against a strong opponent and Manchester City got 3 points, but I agree that without Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri it will be much harder to fight for points with Arsenal, because both players were very important in terms of creation in the attack at other people's gates.

Nevertheless, Manchester City have a long bench, they should be able to hold out.

City are very powerful this season... It just seemed to me that after the red card they could concede a goal, but even without one player they continued to play very well... Nottingham Forest couldn't do anything and City won this match easily... I think they will win again in EPL this season...
It has always been difficult to determine who will win the title since the start of the season, but so far Manchester City are one of the strongest candidates to repeat it. Manchester City have won 6/6 of their matches so far, meaning they are the only team to have won 18 points to date. Many people are optimistic about the possibility of Manchester City retaining the title, but there are the next 32 matches that will determine it.

Meanwhile, today two teams that are doing poorly (Chelsea and Manchester United) will play matches against Burnley and Aston Villa respectively. I don't think these two top teams will drop points, but considering their form is not unstable then the possibility of a draw can always be considered.

Nottingham Forest haven't had a chance to do something in the game with Man City yet, but maybe they will have a chance after the red card... Of course they can't win the game, but there is hope that they will score a goal...

The gap is too big. That match is finished for nottingham forest. The club must also admit that if manchester city is a very strong club in EPL. That's why it was always dominating the EPL since the previous seasons.
Nottingham should not even play the game if they could do that caused by the result was clear if manchester city is winning the game. It's hard to imagine city would be loosing against a weak club like nottingham forest.
The odds is very disappointed caused by it's very small for city due to the its superiority against nottingham forest.

Maybe there's no shortage of that, but there are other teams who's line-ups may not be quite perfect, but they're just very strong, also as a team. I'm referring to Manchester City. They may have some problems in their squad, but they don't stop them from winning. Besides, if you look at the situation now, Tottenham are joining this race, who have had a great start to the season and also have a good squad.
For Manchester City, I don't see any gaps in their players. Their starters and reserves are at the same level and even if the starters can't play due to some problems like KDB's at the moment the reserves can still be a good option because their quality is not too different considering Manchester City players are really very good in their individual skills.
On the other hand Pep is also quite smart in terms of rotation and organising schemes that want to be done in every match they run so that makes Manchester City always one level above their opponents.

Pep is really something else. In the new tactic he introduced to the world, he no longer uses offensive fullbacks like he used to, he uses more compact players at the back, sometimes he goes completely without fullbacks and piles players in the center of the midfield. He created a defensive midfielder out of stopper john stones, a left back out of another stopper like nathan ake- I find it very boring to write about tactics at length, but to summarize guardiola's aim in this change in an extremely superficial way, I would say that it is to 'ensure fluidity in the transition game to the offense' and 'defensively not to leave space for the opponent to counterattack'. With the new tactic, especially after the world cup that ended in December, they faltered a lot in terms of the quality of the game, but when 3-4 months passed after the big change and the players got used to the new system, they became a machine in March.

There were so many yellow cards in this match, and I think maybe that's too much. Because anyway, Pep Guardiola also got a yellow card in this match, and Pep Guardiola was not in the pitch from the 19th minute. But yes, because Manchester City managed to make quick goals in the 7th and 14th minutes in the first half then of course, Manchester City position was very comfortable because it had two quick goals. So, even though Pep Guardiola is no longer in the pitch and also, Rodri who got a red card, then of course Manchester City can still maintain the victory they already have. Although indeed, after Manchester City played with only 10 players, that Nottingham could control the match. But still, it is difficult for Nottingham to be able to turn things around, or just to make one goal it is also still difficult for Nottingham and the match ends with a score of 2-0.

First goal for Foden from Walker cut back was a really good team worked goal. There will be more players in Manchester City that will score in the second half. Doku, Alvarez are yet to score, and if they are not replaced in the second half they will score or create another chance for goal. If Nottingham forest manages to score one, maybe they will be able to score another to draw this game. It is very far from happening, but it can happen now especially with Rodri now sent off from the game with a red card due to violent conduct.
Manchester City 2 - 0 Nottingham Forest. Not bad since Manchester City was able to maintain the two goals advantage although playing a whole half with only 10 players. Both Foden and Haaland were able to score early goals. Haaland scored his 8th goal in 6 games, not bad Wink
On the other two games, Crystal Palace 0 - 0 Fulham and Luton Town 1 - 1 Wolves. Normal results since teams in both matches were close to each others.
Manchester city could score more than it if rodri was not getting a red card. It's bad to see him made unnecessary foul. My perspective on the matter is that he needs to tone down his aggressiveness in the upcoming game. It's pure his mistake to get a red card.

Even though city was playing only with 10 players but the quality said the truth here. Manchester city is still having a very solid defensive line at this moment. It's very hard for forest to use counter attack against manchester city.

Some backs like walker was always securing the sideline. The quality was never a lie. There is a reason why manchester city being called as best club in the world right now.

City can still keep the cleansheet even with 10 players against 11 players of nottingham forest.

Rodri escapes lots of bookings last season, most at times, these are big games and the officials over looks it because he fouks his opponents professionally.
Today, he was not lucky enough to escape it. Glad to see the full-time results was in favor of the citizens still.
During the first half of the game some brilliant and football intelligence was seen between Foden and Julian Alvarez to link Erling Haaland for the second goal.

They have started well and they hope to stay lonely at the top. Arsenal are the only club worthy of challenging Manchester City. Not Manchester United, Liverpool, not even Tottenham Hotspur.

Yeah a strong star fom City so far in the PL but they also haven't been properly challenged as well. City have game against Arsenal in October and that's the game where there is possible of a break in City's consistent form. Brighton in the next game after Arsenal will also be a tough fixture and possible drop of points for City. So some tough fixtures are getting lined up and busy schedule with CL games too. It would be interesting to see how City handles their games ahead.
Nottingham basically didn't threaten Manchester City that much in that match, but Manchester City still came under a lot of pressure because they were short of 1 player. As a result Ederson had to make several important saves in the second half, while Nottingham barely got to the Manchester City goal in the first half. Luckily Manchester City didn't concede in that match, but they almost scored the third goal if Haaland hadn't failed to take advantage of his good opportunity.

I'm sure Manchester City will play better against Arsenal, it will definitely be a tough game for both of them. But no matter how difficult it is, I think Manchester City will still be the favorite considering its consistent performance.
