Every EPL clubs have their problems to deal with and we just clearly know the Red Devils challenges and weaknesses. Erik Ten Hag have a way to handle things in Old Trafford but there's reasons that he's relenting in his duties as headcoach, watching defenders doing crucial costly blunders, and failing to sign backup replacements for them when he had the chance in the transfer window that just closed. Instead he signed new frontlines and forger totally that he needs new sets of defenders that would be able to interchangeably pair with the former ones. Harry Maguire is the problematic instrument at the backlines of Manchester United. Maguire made countless fatal mistakes that cost the club's conceding unnecessary goals which was really bad for the team's reputation and statistics.
IMO, Erik Ten Hag really knows what he really needs to build his squad to reach the level he wants. unfortunately, in this summer's transfer window, Ten Hag did not get the amount of spending money he wanted. at a minimum, Ten Hag needs 5/6 newcomers if he is given the budget and to spend on players. unfortunately, because United experienced FFP sanctions problems, in the end he only brought in players who suited his team's needs. even then, he has to find the right players who are also not too expensive. in the end, Ten Hag signed Mount from Chelsea, after which he needed a goalkeeper to suit his playing style. finally, Onana becomes their target. well, just look at this time, the pattern of play that Ten Hag applies is a little different. despite the fact, it didn't go as smoothly as he had hoped.
Apart from that, Ten Hag is well aware that United needs a center striker. because he is aware that it is impossible to just rely on Marcus Rashford, who sometimes underperforms. in the end, Hojlund became Ten Hag's choice. In the remainder of the transfer window, United no longer has the budget to bring in the players they are targeting. Luckily, Ten Hag managed to bring Amrabat to Old Trafford even though he was on loan. well, the situation wouldn't be like this if Qatar came in to acquire United, they would pour huge funds into Ten Hag. in this way, Ten Hag will bring in the players he really wants. However, because of this acquisition it turns out there is no point of continuation. In the end, Ten Hag could only maximize what we now see. unfortunately, several of Ten Hag's mainstay defenders were injured. there weren't many choices, he could only play the available reserve players.
