In light of both West Ham's recent performance and Luton's recent performances, it appears like West Ham will have an advantage over Luton. These kinds of games can give players a chance to flourish and help teams maintain their momentum. It will be a difficult test for West Ham to play Manchester City and Liverpool back-to-back.

people think that since Haaland was able to reach 30 goals and last season,that he will be able to even surpass that tally this season,but it is a No,because England is one place I know they don't let a striker score goals the way they deem it fit.Haaland is still scoring goals,and three goals in three appearances is not a bad stats, people seem to talk because at three games last season,he was in six goals, but they fail to understand that he can't get the number of goals he got last season because the defenders are all out for him now.And for KDB,he is going to be out for a while due to injury,therefore Haaland cant get the numbers of goals he is supposed to get.But because City is a strong side,they still don't feel the absent of KDB

No doubt Newcastle United was hot last season in the EPL and their efforts were rewarded as they made it to the 4th place which takes them to the Champions league this season but looking at their current performance this season I will say that they are not at their best form compared to what was seen in them last season even when they were not yet in the champions league. Newcastle having lost two EPL matches out of three matches they have played so far, I think it's going to be very difficult for them to adapt to the pressure that awaits them once they play champions league and goes back to play in the EPL.

I don't think Newcastle United were overrated as you said rather their performance after their first match in the EPL made everyone have high hope in them but things turn out bad when they lost 1:0 against Manchester City and 1:2 against Liverpool  this results is already enough to make their fans  doubt their chances of being amoung the top 4 nest season but they still have more time to get better so it will be fine if their coach return to the drawing board very fast.

A good start is always better than a struggling one. Like you have already stated Liverpool are still yet to reach their full potential and that's because of the lose of sadio mane to that squad, Mane is a player with share agility and confidence and finding a replacement such raw talent is gonna be hard for them but at least like you said their performance is way better than that of last season .

Yeah West Ham will continue the winning trend because Luton is a source of points for any team or fast track for players to get their name on the top scorer list   just look at the last 2 matches of Luton every club won by 3 goals or more so West Ham is predicted to win easily. After this match West Ham will face a tough challenge they will fight with 2 strong teams at once like Manchester City  September 16 and Liverpool September 24 well, West Ham's strength will be tested here somehow West Ham got the points lol.

West Ham has been very impressive in their performances this season and doesn't look like they're gonna stop their fine form anytime soon. They shocked many to win their second English Premier League game against Chelsea with just 10 men.

These two teams were on the verge of defeating them even the last season. I believe Newcastle will likely find it challenging to defeat these two teams, particularly Manchester City, even before they play Manchester City and Liverpool. The fact that Manchester is a very strong team as Premier League is concern.


In my opinion, Haaland is still in excellent shape because he has resumed scoring goals for the Premier League season. As the league and other tournaments, such as the Champions League, continue, I also expect much from Haaland. Although De-Bruyne's absence from the team has affected Manchester City's performances, I can't claim that De-Bruyne is having a significant impact on them because they have been winning games with improved attacking once again. I’m not exactly worried about the overall performance of Man City. They’ve got a good team with a great coach at the helm of affairs.

Given some of the rumors and statements Pep has made about De Bruyne's injury, he'll be out until the end of the year at the very least and it's going to be tough to get through even though they have some good players as replacements but as you say having De Bruyne in the squad is better and Haaland can also be better served because De Bruyne always knows how to open up space and initiate.
Talking about Haaland and selfishness I don't see that because even though his job is to be a target man, sometimes he makes moves without the ball and is not too selfish in terms of goals I think that's a pretty good trait for Haaland.

His rivalry with Alvarez can be unpleasant at times, but I really don't think Haaland is a selfish player.

Alvarez sometimes really helps Manchester City win with his goals, but he is not the type of player who likes to provide assists to other players. Last season Alvarez did not score a single assist in 31 appearances in the Premier League, but Haaland recorded 8 assists in the 35 matches he played. Compared to Alvarez, I think Phil Foden is still better as a replacement for the injured De Bruyne.

I would be very surprise to see Newcastle finish this season in top four of the English Premier League table and that's not because they're not good enough or doesn't have the quality players to achieve that but because of the fact that they'll be facing tougher challenges this season than they face last season.
They're in one of the toughest groups on the UEFA Champions League group stage this season and surely it'll be a major concern for them because they'll definitely want to have a good season on that competition that they last played in the 2002/03 season. There's a lot of work for the manager to do in other to have a good season and also show that he's equal to the task.

We can’t entirely say that Haaland is underperforming this season as compared to last season already. They’re playing under the management of Pep Guardiola who is a very tactical coach to play with. Haaland could just be a bait for the opponent to take their attention away from other players, while they’re focusing on Haaland, the other players can be scoring the goals. But in all this season, Haaland performance hasn’t been that bad even though I’m to quantify it myself. De Bruyne and Haaland chemistry is undeniable and his return will definitely bring a change and improvement in Haalands performance too.


If the champions league have started it would have been a different case and I would have given Newcastle a benefit by of doubt since they’re playing in the champions league and the premier league simultaneously. Although, Manchester City and Liverpool are not a small team that can easily be won for them but at least I was expecting a draw in one of the matches. They should improve on their performance in order to prepare against the bigger battle ahead of them which is the champions league. They are in a very tough group, only by luck they can move to the next round without been eliminated from the group stage.

Yes, so far Manchester City has not overdone it and maintained their victory quite convincingly. They always appear confident even though they know that now they cannot go all out to attack because they lost one of their key players who is still injured. But sometimes things like this can be quite risky, especially if they meet a comparable opponent then Manchester City could be in trouble. Indeed, these two players who are bound to each other cannot be separated and we know that recently Haaland has had quite a difficult time without De Bruyne's pass.
