I am not going to take any side. I am just going to say what I think is true. I definitely think that any team playing in home conditions. He's actually going to get the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes the referees even get paid to do so.

We all know how Barcelona was able to win some matters. Where we clearly saw that there was no contact, the referee was giving penalties without even hesitating for a second. But I thought that was going to change after the VAR. And whenever there is a chance for a 50-50 the referee makes a decision as he wishes. And I am not even talking about handball inside the penalty area. The more I see referees judging handballs inside the penalty area, the more I think that there is actually no rule. It is just however the referee wishes.
Even with VAR the referee can also make several mistakes where on several occasions the referee does not want to review the VAR and instead continues the match. This has happened in several games, but the referee has been nothing more than a controversial referee. But what's the point of us arguing, it's not important at all because in the end nobody can change the referee's decision after the game is over.
So true. In some conditions, sometimes the Referee does not want to review further through VAR. In fact, I often see referees like this especially. Well that really sucks. But the referee does rule the field. Sometimes protests that are too loud from a player will only make the player get a yellow card or even a red one. And do we still remember that in the last few matches Xavi protested because there were many violations on the field that were ignored by the referee. But then instead it was Xavi who got a red card and made Xavi unable to attend directly to several matches that Barcelona went through. This does make us a little annoyed. But this is also one of the colors in the world of sports that cannot be eliminated. Controversy of this kind is common.

But what's the point of us arguing, it's not important at all because in the end nobody can change the referee's decision after the game is over.

Some of these mistakes are not even referees alone, the VAR board is always equipped with experience Referees that they have the right to tell the referee to go watch the screen or better still they tell him outrightly what the decision is because they have that liberty to do so. One thing I see is English referees are just shit and are causing too much problems in the beauty of the game. Against Wolves Manchester United were crucified by the referees bad decision and the most disappointing part is where does referee had to apologize to the Wolves club. If you were sure that they deserved it then award it not going and sending out apologies because almost everyone will demand it and what importance is that when the points can’t be returned.

I Also see bitter fans saying only Manchester united use to be favoured, it’s a lie almost every club one time or the other have been at the good side of a bad officiating. Manchester United was awarded the list penalties last season. The sending off of Casemiro on wrong decision is also something again, so let’s not just pick out a team for the occurring bad decisions but rather strife for them to change. This  constant mistakes is why English referees are not given important matches in Europe elite competitions

See, on a normal day, Arsenal is playing way better than Man United as long as this premier League season is concerned, but then, like I said in my previous comment, I can't not because of the matches Manchester United have lost, underrate them in their coming match against Arsenal, Arsenal is my team and I still hope for them to win, but one problem I have with Arsenal is that they tend to disappoint when fans least expect it, so in order not to be disappointed, I always prepare ahead of their games, that is, I do not set my mind on them winning so that just in case they lose, I won't be so disappointed, but then if they win,  it's always a thing of joy

Arsenal will always disappoint when you least expect it, just as they did last season when they lost the league title to Manchester City in the last moments of the season. Arsenal is the better team to win this next match versus Manchester United, but with the way they tend to disappoint, no one should put full faith in them to win. Manchester United is also not performing poorly, therefore I predict a difficult encounter for Arsenal, even if they win in the end because they will be playing at home this week. Manchester United will be hoping to win this game as well, since they have struggled to maintain a balance since the season began.

If you are an Arsenal fan, of course your hope is to see Arsenal appear impressive in every game they play. What's more, Arsenal will play in front of their supporters so their chances in this match are greater to secure victory. However, the opponents they face have strengths that are quite balanced with Arsenal strengths so Arteta can test the abilities of his squad in this match.

Manchester United have pretty good capital after recording a win in the previous match so they will try to maintain a winning against Arsenal. I predict most likely this match will end in a draw. Manchester United still has weaknesses on the front lines because Hojlund is still recovering from the injury that happened to him.

I love Arsenal too, but when it comes to playing against Manchester United, my legs begin to wobble.
Arsenal and Manchester united have had a long history dating back to previous premiership seasons which see both clash with Manchester United claiming the upper hand.
Things have sure changed these days and though both teams could be evenly matched in both technicality, tactics and youth, the game might likely come off as draw or be in favor of Manchester United.
I do however beg to differ and would opt for an above 1.5goal margin.
Arsenal still surprises me with their sudden remarkable, outstanding performance from the previous season, gaining good results presently is all dugged out during the time Mikel Arteta was appointed by Arsenal board, they trusted him and gave him an extended period to relaxed and adapt to the team, checking out the present condition  of the gunners, they immensely changed for the better. Moreover this is new season, I expects the very best outcomes from them, specifically pointing out to the game between Arsenal and Manchester United.

I must say that the work done by Mikel Arteta up to now has been a great job and the results have been seen, a pity that last year they failed to win the Premier League by dominating it for most of the time! this year, however, they have to work on the mistakes they made last year if they don't want to repeat what they suffered last year, they started the championship very well this year but the last game despite playing with an extra man they let themselves be joined by fulham in the final minutes, these are not points to lose along the way if you want to win the championship

A separate outcome does not say anything about the correctness of the quotes, because even if Newcastle won, there would be an obvious discrepancy with the quotes of the bookmakers: we would have 100% of Newcastle's wins, while the bookmakers predicted only 40%  Wink
As for the upcoming game, I think that Arsenal is even a little underestimated - they started modestly, but United are just terrible.
I completely agree with you though, but to be honest, which the odds am seeing, I can't say for sure that Arsenal is underestimated as you said, this is particularly based on how Arsenal has been playing lately, they started well indeed, but recently, winning seems to have become a big problem for them, look at your last game with Fulham, the almost lost that game, but at the end of the day , it ended in a draw, something I am really not proud of as an Arsenal fan.

So honestly, I can't see that Arsenal is underrated, in fact to be honest, I think Man United are the ones that are underrated, but all the same, my fingers are crossed and I am really looking forward to watching Arsenal beat Man United, but then again, I am not going to underrate Man United because I believe they do have a chance against Arsenal.

Hmmm... I support United, but I see that in the first round they won due to a referee's error (the penalty that the referee did not appoint in the last minute). Then a natural defeat from a weakened Tottenham, and then a clown match against Nottingham. Of course they have a chance against Arsenal (like any EPL team against any other EPL team) but I don't know how United can be considered undervalued here.

Without any doubt Premier League is one of the toughest and entertaining league in soccer world where any mistake can bring down any big team and from this point recovery is never been easy as we have in last season while Arsenal down and then never able to fight back for the title race now in this season against we have few things which can bring changes for the top spots Arsenal lost of these two points can cost them badly in this season with now it's still time for them to learn from mistakes and try to give their best in rest of this season.

Right now, Manchester City is leading and three London based clubs with Liverpool standing at the second spot with same points just goals difference is giving them some better position hopefully next 35 weeks could be more entertaining and teams will give their best for the achieving their targets, and we will have actions packed matches to watch.
On the fourth matchday, there was a bigmatch between Arsenal and Man United. Many put the red devils superior to Arsenal, even though United are not completely stable in my opinion. This is the most worthy match to watch, of course it will be more entertaining if you place your bets on this match.

I predict this fight will be won by Arsenal, specifically I have no excuses. But I assume and see that Arteta squad is more ambitious this season than Ten Hag squad. This is an event for Arteta that his expensive squad can meet expectations, of course by dominating Man United first.

How do you know that many think Manhester United would be better than Arsenal in this game? Because Arsenal gave the game against Fulham away? I don't think so and keep in mind that Manchester United lost their game away against Tottenham and they have done anything but performed in a great way. Whether you look at the game against the Wanderers or the game against Nottingham Forest, in both games I didn't have the feeling for a second that they could be the better team if I were to choose between them and Arsenal.

Due to the recent performance of both clubs in their first three matches,it is obvious that Arsenal plays better than Man United presently. They also have an advantage of winning the red devils in their upcoming match, which we will see the odds that bookies will give to both clubs.

On the other hand, because Arsenal is the club that Man United wants to play they might take this match very serious because they know that they haven't performed well in their previous matches and it was with luck that they used in winning their games and play what we wouldn't expect from them. If possible they might even win Arsenal,if Arsenal underestimate them and don't take the match very serious due to Man United poor performance. We cannot predict this match currently and say boldly that it will favour one club.

What won Liverpool the game was their performance right after they received the red card and were one man down. I think that was the moment when a lot of people thought that Liverpool is going to be destroyed within the next 20 - 30 minutes. But they survived it and preserved themselves the chance to win the game in the end. If they concede a goal when all the turmoil happened, I think the game is really over. But this way they forced Newcastle to still be cautious and of course it also needs a bit of luck to go home as the winner.
When Van Dijk received the automatic red card, my assumption was immediately negative that it would favor Newcastle, but I was wrong to judge it too quickly. In the second half, Nunez entry saw a lot of difference and Jurgen Klopp put him in the minutes that were really needed, because if you pay attention the Newcastle backline players were more focused on Moh Salah movements so that Nunez was able to move freely. I congratulate him on his tense game, because after playing with 10 men the opposing club should have benefited but it was the opposite.

Yes that is what most of us thought because Liverpool is also going through hard times, but this game brought about two results. One is that Liverpool still can't be underestimated and they can even turn around such a game against a strong opponent. They need to try and be more consistent with their games again.

The second result is that Newcastle is still not the top team that it seemed to be. They should have not lost this game under any circumstance. I know exceptions can happen, but they now lost a game against Manchester City and that isn't a big problem because almost everyone loses against them in the Etihad Stadium. But losing against Liverpool like this revealed some significant weaknesses in their game.

Well, times have really changed and right now, I don't think Manchester United will be able to play that upper hand against Arsenal when they clash in just a few days from today, judging from their previous games in this season's EPL, even last season, Arsenal did way better than Man United, so I am personally expecting Arsenal to also do well this season as well, if possible, win the title, but this is if they will be strong enough to beat Manchester City which is their major contender, all the same, my fingers are crossed, let's see how it all plays out on the 3rd of September .

Arsenal played in front of their supporters who should be more motivated to perform as well as possible and not disappoint. I know there were some doubts about them after the draw against Fulham but chances are Arsenal will win the game if the opposing team doesn't shut themselves out of the game.

Fulham had no bigger plans against Arsenal other than defending and counter-attacking. But Fulham's two goals were Arsenal's defensive mistakes that failed, but Arsenal's overall game play was really good. I'm sure the match against Manchester United will benefit Arsenal, so I won't underestimate Arsenal there this weekend.

I actually think Arsenal are favorites in this game, they have started the season better than Manchester United and the match is also at the Emirates, thus i think Arsenal have the advantage. I don't know what you saw this weekend that makes you think Manchester United are in such good form, yes they came back from two goals down to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2, but they shouldn't even be going 2-0 down to Nottingham Forest in the first place, if it were a bigger team, it'd have been game, set and match.
Both teams were not at their best in their last game. Manchester United struggled to win the match against Nottingham Forest. But the good part of it was that they got the three points. Arsenal had the opportunity to win the game but they lost it even when Fulham lost Bassey due to a red card. I will agree that in this game Manchester United is the favorite. United indeed had some defensive issues in their last game but they fixed it up and won the match.

Quote
Having said that, it is either Arsenal wins, or the game ends in a draw, as for which of them would be in the title battle, it is definitely Arsenal for me, i can't see Manchester United competing for the EPL title this season or even winning it.
Arsenal will just have the advantage of playing in the Emirate stadium where they will have the needed support. But it could also put them under pressure if United score first. In their last four meetings, Arsenal has won two and United also won two and the winner have always scores three goals. I am predicting that the game will end in a draw, but if there will be a winner, it will be United.
Arsenal team is currently performing very well. But some great players in the team are able to perform exceptionally well. Hope the team does well this season.
Truly Arsenal had started the league this season on a good note but the team hasn't reach the highest level of competitiveness yet and I would also attribute their major problem to Arteta who played most the players out of position, nevertheless the team is far better than Man Utd who had been playing at below par, they had an unconvincing win in  their matches against Wolves and Nothingham Forest respectively and got defeated by Tottenham now with their next fixture against Arsenal at Emirate I don't think they stand any chances of winning that match with calibre of average players in their squad, honestly if Arteta played all Arsenal players at their right positions while benching Havertz to include Gabriel in the starting line up they would defeat Man Utd.

This match will start in the next 5 days but most people have predicted including betting markets that have displayed the odds for each team, just like your prediction the bookies also favor Arsenal 1.80 if we bet on Arsenal and 4.1 for Manchester United the difference in odds is obvious here but still market predictions do not guarantee they are always right, we still remember the match a few days ago when Newcastle were the favorites to beat Liverpool but what happened was the opposite.

I understand why Arsenal are slightly favored in this fight. The simple reason is that Arsenal have not lost in the last 3 matches. Meanwhile, Man United has suffered 1 defeat against Tottenham in Week 2 with a fairly crushing score of 2-0. But even so, I personally actually feel that the opportunities for Man United and Arsenal shouldn't be much different. Because Arsenal's own performance has actually not been at a consistent level in these 3 weeks. It's the same with Man United itself. Even in the pre-season match, we see that Man United is far superior. Either in a 90 minute match or in a penalty shootout. It's just that in the match against Tottenham, I really considered Man United as if they had lost the accuracy of their attack power. Meanwhile, Tottenham are much better at making accurate attacks in this match.

And speaking of Tottenham. Tottenham are currently playing against Fullham in the EFL Cup. And I'm a little surprised because it seems that Fullham is currently really improving their form this season. They can't be underestimated this season. Score while still 0-0.

Liverpool have decline in their performance last season, they're still in the recovery process presently. I don't normally jeopardize the probability of Liverpool in Anfield, They Never Walk Alone. We should not underestimate average club this season, they possess a high spirit when it comes to league games specifically against elite clubs. Liverpool facing Aston Villa this weekend, a challenging game for the Reds, but I'm confident that they will record a triumph results in the game. Aston Villa headcoach, Unai Emery looks forward to play a defensive game against the hosts.
Yes, Liverpool this season has performed better than last season, this looks in stark contrast to the comeback against Newcastle. Liverpool has proven time and time again how special this club is. What a return to them in the history books. Now Liverpool needs several players in midfield and defense because Liverpool must be ready to challenge Man City for the EPL title.

Against Aston Villa of course I think Liverpool will win because I still feel confident after the incredible comeback a few days ago. Even though Aston Villa cannot be taken lightly, in my opinion the effect of the victory over Newcastle will be very influential in the next match, especially the match against Aston Villa which will be played at home to Liverpool. My prediction Liverpool will win with a score of 3-1.
